So my son was hungry and he pick checker ahead of mission bbq and chick fil a... ugg. So I get the # 8 combo which is "chicken bites, 32 oz drink and fries. Hey I'm not gonna judge the place too hard I spent 10.37$. The chicken bites were hardly chicken so if you're looking for solids pieces of chicken go some where else. The fries are always good and crunchy. The 32 oz drink had something black in it. I'm glad I got sprite and opened the lid, otherwise I wouldn't have noticed it. I don't see how they could serve my drink and not see that spot. It wasn't packed there was one car behind me and no one outside. The dipping sauce has shrunk, they used to be bigger. I could have used one more but I'm not complaining about it. If I would have asked for another they would have gave me one. I would have gave them a 4 stars but I had to throw away my drink because there was something black in it... it's checkers I knew what I was getting. It's fast food. Checkers has went down in food quality. They used to serve less processed meat in the 90's but I know it's new days now. Overall the service was good, my order came out fast, and they were friendly. Yes I will come here again if my son wants to come but I won't get anything for myself unless they start using less processed meat like Chick fil a. It just takes the satisfaction out of the food when your nuggets are like a chicken flavored sponge inside. Didn't touch the drink til I got home so I was not going back to return it but I know they would have replaced it if I went back. read more

I haven't been to Checkers in over a year. I forgot how good their Burgers and Fries are. I also like their Wings, was excited that they now have Lemon Pepper my favorite, I usually get the Garlic Parmesan which is good too. My Burger was fresh and tasty. The customer service is a hit or (most often times) I BIG miss. They hire people who seem to have not desire to work or serve the customer. The staff most often times are more engaged with the person and unprofessional conversations between themselves. Most of the time, there is a slow moving line. The food is pretty consistent. Checkers is probably one of my favorites out of all the fast food places for a late night meal. However, I strongly would advise against going to this specific checkers.. Every time I come here, the drive though ordering machine is SO LOW. I can barely hear what the sales person is saying, so I wonder if they can even clearly hear what I'm saying? I presume they can't, because 80% of the time, they get my order wrong. I knowing that they get my orders wrong so often, I usually ask a second time just to ensure I get what i want/ordered. However, when I do that, they are often annoyed and sound like they cant believe I'm wasting their time by making sure THEY dont get my order wrong. Because of this, going to this checkers has become a very unpleasant experience, which is a pity, because its the closes checkers to me.. We went to checkers at 1 a.m. after a late flight. The food was hot and delicious. Very impressive experience, especially for that hour.

This spot really deserves ZERO stars! Let me start by saying I'm not from Baltimore me and my family was coming from Pennsylvania and going back home in NC! So with that being said this place definitely left a bad taste in my mouth for any other Checkers in the area! Shorty with the BLUE LONG BOX BRAIDS is disrespectful and definitely not professional!!! I asked to add 1 funnel cake fry for my son and she told me "no there's a line" and to circle BACK AROUND not knowing I was trying to make it home on time for work in the AM!! So anyways we circle back around & there was two cars in one lane (radio didn't work so we had to drive up to the window) and about 4 in the first lane we was in!! The man at the second window with LONG DREAD LOCS handed me my funnel cake fries that was sitting there for 5mins COLD!! He also forgot to give us our 3 DRINKS! Bra gave us 2 WRONG DRINKS!!! I'm so disappointed because I loveeee checkers and I don't even want to go back because of those two! All of this would've been avoided if she would've just let us wait 3 mins!! I was out on a very late errand...1:15am Sunday night/Monday morning. I've seen this place many times, but never been there...just got hungry while I was out. Not thinking/paying attention I blew through the menu board right up to the window...human mistake. The guy at the window was as friendly as they come. Put my order in for me and got me out quick. Terrible customer service, I ordered spicy Chicken and checker double and fries. We were there at around like 12:45am. The chicken patty and fries were cold and socked in oil. The cashier lady didnot give us the receipt so when we went back 5 mins latter she was asking for the reciept. Checkers is AWESOME. Where else can you get gourmet burgers from a drive thru? The location is accesible and in a nice area. Clean, unlike Baltimore. The burgers are delicious. I highly recommend the Big Buford with cheese. And the fries are the best of ANY burger joint, hands down. Their seasoning is down to a science, and they are fried to perfectly brown, golden crisp. The food isn't bad here. The problem is getting your order made as you want. No matter how I order I'm getting a ton of mayo (which I don't want) and it's always a problem. Also they can get carried away with mustard as well. Sometimes the sandwiches are drowning in condiments. It's a shame because it's not a bad burger / chicken sandwich. Wow, this has got to be the worst food joint on the east coast. The telecom outside was obnoxiously harsh and LOUD. The girl didnt speak (or understand enough) English to take an order, so we repeated it over and over. Then pulled up for a 9 minute (3 radio songs) wait for our food. We were the only people in line...and yet they seemed to be scurrying around inside like crazy. The window person was so ghetto that she didn't bother reaching her arm out to return my credit card and I had to reach INTO the building to retrieve it. I couldn't understand a word she said, the slang was so thick. After getting an order, I counted the items in the bag and it seemed appropriate....but got the food home and found NOTHING of the order was accurate. NOTHING?? We were the ONLY people in line!
