Half off small plates and $13 pizzas what a deal Seated right away and with a big smile. Service was good and we did not feel left alone. Restaurant was filled and very festive (and noisy) We ordered... Garlic and Truffle oil fries.. great fries super savory Poke Tacos... fresh poke in taco shells very flavorful Szechuan Stir Fried green beans... need some veggies! Bulgogi Sliders... Not bad meat was tender Hamakua Mushroom and Truffle oil Pizza... slightly floppy but taste and flavor on point Kalua Pork and Pineapple Pizza... Sweet and savory at its best And a few more drinks I can't remember!?!? I think it was one of our best meals in Oahu. The happy hour prices do sway my decision though. Worth coming back again

Well apparently you shouldn't dine here for occasions since they run out of everything lol…read more They were out of Banh Mi Bulgogi Sliders Burgers????... Fettucine Bolognese Our Table wanted to try these things ^ It was Mother's Day but wow that's impressive. The food is quite bland and not of the best quality, the sirloin steak was not seared well and had no marbling/juices. I think people really only come here to drink and eat fries or pizza, if you come here expecting a nice restaurant experience, I don't think you'll get that.

That said, it's definitely best for small groups. I wouldn't recommend going with more than three people since seating is at the bar--honestly, two is ideal for the full experience. Service is smooth and efficient, with most of the ordering done through their app, which makes everything feel seamless and easy. Every roll we tried was solid, but the crab and truffle hand roll completely stole the show. It was so good I'm still thinking about it. The balance is perfect--the sweetness of the crab with the richness of the truffle--and they don't hold back on the truffle. It's not just a hint; it's bold, present, and absolutely delicious. I would come back again and again for that roll alone. She's the star of the menu

The Friday we went was the day of the heavy thunderstorm so a coworker had to bow out leaving just two of us. The storm must've made others skip going out also because there were only two other people dining. Everything we ordered was fresh with my favorites being the Pork cheek Cher siu nigiri and the Uni handroll. The Unagi handroll and Maguro w/creamy avocado handroll were both good as well. Joe really liked the Blue crab w/truffke kanimiso handroll as well. Other things we got were: Nigiri flight (5 piece sampler of there premium nigiri,) various nigiri...Aji, Kampachi, Tai, and Hamachi. The sampler was a good starting point while the others were ok. Service was attentive and friendly, waters refilled often. I'm kinda on the fence about the QR code ordering system, it was convenient to be able to order when you wanted and not having to wait for a server to come by but I did miss the interaction with the servers when ordering. It was a good experience, I'm always open to trying sushi places I haven't been to and some if the take out roll sets looked interesting, something I'd be back to try.

We were told that the first batch would be served about 11 a.m. so we quickly put our order in. The first thing that caught my attention, was the savory aroma of their 5-spice ground pork being cooked. You can add this as a topping to the noodle dish. The second thing that caught my attention, was the labor of love going in to each order of fresh pulled noodles. You can watch him stretch the dough ball and slap it on the counter before he boils each batch with careful preparation. The third thing that caught my attention, was their adorable mother, helping to slice the cucumbers and top each dish with crushed iso peanuts. Do not forget to order the side of pickled bittermelon....so good!! From beginning to end, this was an incredible experience of all my senses! To see and hear them at work and then to taste the delicious sesame sauce on the fresh pulled noodles....WOW! The soft noodles, the crisp bittermelon, and the savory sauce....super delish! Seriously, go early to place your order. The wait is totally worth it :) Will come back next time to try other menu items.

When we went, the menu focused on udon: +Hot Yamakake Udon with Quail Egg (a special) +Cold Yamakake Udon (a special) +Hot Udon +Cold Udon The special udon dishes are servied with tororo (grated mountain yam), housemade tsukudani (seaweed braised in a sweet Japanese sauce), crispy nori, green onions, and an option to add wasabi. We went for both the hot and cold udon specials - I think it was a consensus that we would have liked to have more noodles in the dish. This is definitely a sweeter dish, with the tororo and the tsukudani. The place already had a long line, and the best way to enjoy would be to dine-in. Note that if you do order a carry-out, the quail egg would not be included. +ordering online is available +changing menu of noodle dishes +popup at Fishcake

The flavors were on point, perfectly balanced, and seriously satisfying. Even with a solid crowd when I came in, they moved at a great pace and had my order out pretty quickly, which I definitely appreciated. The shop itself is clean, well kept, and welcoming. You can tell they take pride in their establishment. Now here's my one (very passionate) request: as a sandwich spot, I would LOVE to see a true NYC bodega style chopped cheese added to the menu. Ever since my trip to New York City, I've been reminiscing about those chopped cheese sandwiches nonstop. There's just something different about them. It honestly surprises me that on the island we can find cheesesteaks everywhere, but not a single place offering a legit chopped cheese! If you guys ever decide to add a proper chopped cheese to the lineup, I promise I'd be a weekly regular without hesitation. I know I'm not the only one who would appreciate it! Until then, I'll definitely be back for another Earl's Cheesesteak. Solid food, clean atmosphere, and great service. Keep it up, and please consider bringing a chopped cheese to the island!
