The place was very clean and well maintained. Food: We were blown away by the food. I was amazed by what we ordered. My husband had their 'Monte Cristo' sandwich and LOVED it. He said it was the best sandwich he's ever had. I had their 'Catfish & Grits' which were delicious. It was packed with so much flavor. I loved the pickled onions that came on top of the dish. The catfish and grits dish hit all the tasting notes. It was sweet, savory, and a little sour with the pickled onions. I LOVED it. We will definitely be back during our trip in North Carolina. It is very nice and clean. They let us park our stroller at the front. Restrooms: They have two single use restrooms. One has a changing pad for babies. Both of their restrooms were very clean. Service: We were warmly welcomed and served from the minute we entered Veranda. All the staff was soooo friendly and passionate about what they do. I felt right at home! You can also tell this is a place where locals go because some of the staff knew guests by name. Food: The food was fantastic. I had their 'Hungarian Mushroom Soup' which was delicious!
