This is a nice little Italian spot. It was pretty busy when we walked in but we were greeted and seated quickly. The menu js very simple it's mainly pizza and four pasta dishes, and a couple dishes dishes that don't involve pasta. The kids menu is non existent, but they will make any of the pasta dishes kid sized if you request. The pizzas crust is not for me it's way too thin and not cooked enough to hold the toppings. The toppings are fresh tho! The chicken Parmesan was a huge dish easily could be shared if you wanted, had good flavor but nothing to write home about and finally the salmon dish was pretty good. The sauce they put on top is quite delicious and needed because the spinach they serve it with has no seasoning at all. The risotto that came with it also had a great flavor. If you get desserts stick to the cakes and pies. The tiramisu was like a trifle situation and it wasn't very good. The carrot cake and peanut butter pie were both fine.

What a delightful hidden lunch spot. Found it when looking for lunch specials around Asheville and I did not disappoint. Less than 3 miles from my house, this is going to be a new favorite. For $11 you get a drink, a side salad, and a slice of pizza with three toppings. I was really impressed at the topping list. I was also impressed that a side salad could be any of their specialty salads. Woot woot. They also have a slightly more expensive sandwich combo but I wanted a slice. On my slice, I opted for cheese and marinara with a bit of pesto, caramelized, onions, and spinach. The spinach was actually pretty robust, which seems good, but might've been a bit too much for the pizza. I'm more of an arugula on top girl. They're peso in caramelized onions were absolutely delightful. Honestly, everything tasted very homemade. The pizza was also woodfired and thin which is my favorite. As I said, before, I love arugula. So I opted for the salad. Incredible array of nuts, berries, and balsamic dressing. Super delicious. I would get this as a full size and add a protein for sure. It didn't appear as though we had one server, but rather they all kind of just helped out. Somebody who seemed like a manager or owner helped us to the table. Overall, everybody was incredibly friendly and it wasn't too busy. Since it was lunch, we did not get a drink, but their prices seems pretty reasonable. Love this little gem, and I will certainly be back soon

Brought the family to Asheville for my wife's birthday. We decided to grab some pizza for a late lunch/early dinner. Turns out only 3 of us ordered pizza and the rest had a variety of meals. Everything was delicious. Mozzarella cheese sticks are thick so don't let the quantity fool you.

It was more than enough food for two people. I am Italian, and I usually will only eat my own meatballs, I devoured Vinny's meatballs! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the fried flounder as did I. So we liked it so much the first night we came back our second night in Asheville. Tonight I had the mussels appetizer as my entrée with a side Caesar salad, and my husband enjoyed the flounder so much he got it again! Definite, they must try Vinnys!

We were in Asheville celebrating our anniversary, and while on the hunt for excellent Italian, came across Vinnie's on Yelp. Now this place is old school, honestly, somewhat to their detriment. No reservations allowed. When you arrive, you give your name, but there is no system whatsoever to let you know it's your turn. No pager, no text, nada. They're also quite popular, so there's not really enough room to wait comfortable inside, it was cold outside, so we just went to sit in the car and pass time as our estimated hour wait chipped away. I came in just to check at half an hour, and they still felt it would be another 30. We came in to wait 15 minutes later, and then started to see people we knew came in after us getting seated. I went to check again, and we'd missed our name being called. They did seat us right away after that... but this just highlights why yelling out a name really isn't sufficient when you typically have waits like this. You can make a free text number for the business to text from on several services if you wanna do something free and rudimentary. Once seated, issues unfortunately did not cease, but thankfully the food we ordered that we actually received was phenomenal. Our server was overly attentive, which is preferable to the alternative, but it made it hard to enjoy each other's company. That attentiveness did not extend to getting our order correct though, our salads never came. They were removed from the bill without issue of course, and in the end, we had plenty to eat (and delicious leftovers). With three entirely preventable issues though, it would have been hard for me to give this experience a 5. The food though... absolutely a FIVE. Arancini was lovely. Crisp but not overly crunchy outside, creamy satisfying texture inside, and an immaculate sauce. Complimentary bread slayed. My lasagna cracked my top 5 of all time, as did my wife's baked ziti. Their sauce recipes here have been honed to perfection, and as you'd expect in Asheville, reflect local and fresh suppliers more than likely. It couldn't taste this good without fresh ingredients. So despite all the issues leading up to the food, the food was so good, we would come back and go for it again. We'll know next time to be more diligent with the host stand, much to their dismay, and just hope for a less chaotic experience overall.

I was in communication with Lindsay for over four months while exploring options for hosting my wedding dinner in their private dining space. Out of more than 10 venues and vendors we considered, she was the only one who consistently showed up with prompt, thoughtful, and genuinely kind communication. Every question I had--no matter how detailed or repetitive--was answered with patience and care. She made herself available through all my moments of uncertainty, which, as any out-of-state bride can attest, is invaluable. When we finally visited in person, Lindsay went above and beyond by accommodating us outside of regular scheduling. Her attentiveness and warmth never wavered. Planning a wedding from afar can feel overwhelming, but having someone like her in your corner brings a level of reassurance that cannot be overstated. Dinner itself was nothing short of exceptional. We were served by Tennille, who elevated the entire experience. She was engaging, knowledgeable, and incredibly personable. Every dish was presented with intention, and she took the time to walk us through ingredients , local farm sourced education and preparation in a way that made the meal feel curated and special. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guest experience--it shows in every interaction. After dinner, we visited their second location to explore their private dining options. There, we met Pierre, who matched the same level of service and hospitality. He went out of his way to not only show us the space, but also recommend local after-dinner spots that could enhance the overall experience for our bridal party. That level of thoughtfulness and big-picture thinking is rare. Bottom line: this team understands that they're not just serving food--they're creating experiences. When my mom arrived for dinner that evening, there were flowers at the table along with a customized menu in her favorite color. The staff also left a card wishing her a happy birthday. She was brought a complimentary glass of champagne and ordered the beef carpaccio to start. For the main course, my mother was between the caramelle or rigatoni. The waiter spoke to the chef and they were able to bring her a small portion of each dish so she could try them both. Another disappointment was the added credit card fee. I understand that some people may not mind this, but with the number of extra fees diners are already facing, it's frustrating and discouraging. The pricing also felt high for what was offered--pasta dishes start at $22 without protein, and adding protein begins at $9. For that price point, I expect more value and balance. Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed and found the experience overpriced for the quality.
