This is a brand-new store in Sanford. We received some coupons in the mail and decided to stop by tonight for dinner and try them out.
Everything is clean and organized, they have all new cooking and refrigeration equipment and staff were friendly and efficient with taking our order.
The store is not super big but they do have some inside seating and restrooms for customers dining it. There is also a drive-thru if you are too embarrassed to come inside wearing your Gundam pajamas and Winnie the Pooh slippers.
We got the two for $10 chicken cheesesteaks (small) since the coupons were not for steak. Nancy chose the Chicken Buffalo and I got the Chicken Philly with no green peppers. Our order was ready in about 5 minutes and everything was made fresh.
Nancy wasn't crazy about the bread but I thought it was decent; at least it wasn't dried out, soggy, or mashed down like other fast-food places around here. The sandwiches were good overall, but it would be nice if there was some more meat on there.
If they can manage to keep the two for $10 deal going, I think they will stay busy during lunch. Normally the subs would have been $6.80 each. The regular sized sandwiches are $9.29 and the large is $12.29. Their Steak sandwiches are $7.80 for the small, $10.30 for a regular, and the large is $13.30. Pricing is competitive to other stores in the area but if you have more time place an order online for pickup at Publix, you'll get a much better sub there for the price. A Boar's Head Philly Cheese Sub twice the size as the one I got tonight at Publix for $12 and literally make two meals out of it.
All-n-all, I would recommend them if you want something on the quick. I'm not a big fast-food person so I might get over here a couple times a year; having the coupons help entice me to visit more frequently and the fact the store is brand new and clean helps as well. read more
