Fantastic, home cooked meals and the owners are so nice. My food was fresh and delicious.

I love supporting local small businesses. Bbee's had been a bookmark of mine for quite sometime. This past weekend my husband and I stopped in for breakfast. We were immediately greeted by an older gentleman who I assume is the owner. He was friendly and chatted with us a few times during while we dined it. Customer service - B. My husband had to wait a good 15 mins for a refill on a cup of coffee while the gentleman was in the back. Food - Ugh. I ordered the Jack - double home fries, onions, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and cheese. My husband ordered the frick frack - large portion of home fries topped with onions, sausage links, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy with cheese. Unfortunately, both are meals were disappointing. Neither dish had onions. I did hear a blender at one point so perhaps they were blended and were not visible. Also, "sausage gravy." I didn't see any meat in my meal. Again, maybe it was blended? The frick frack didn't come with any sausage links as the description on the menu stated. Overall, our experience was very disappointing. We ordered our meals based on their descriptions and unfortunately, we did not get what we ordered. read more

I've got a few pick up orders from here. Sausage egg, and cheese and the bacon egg and cheese sandwich has always been perfect. Come here a few times for sitdown service and it's always been good. Got a few different orders from here and never really had any complaints. Just another great local Sanford, mom and Pop restaurant. read more

I love supporting local small businesses. In my opinion these are the heart & soul of their communities. In addition, they are usually better than the large chain eateries because they actually care about their customers and put love into their dishes. These are the sentiments I felt when I visited Bbee's Home Cooking! I'm glad "Home Cooking" is in their restaurant's name, because that's what I felt their food is about. You get that warm communal feeling once you enter. It's like being transported back in time by decades by the ambiance. The decor screams of old school appeal by the colors, patterns, and photographs. It seems the joint is run by an older European couple (he hosts and runs the operation, she cooks the meals). They both seem very genuine and are extremely friendly. I was there for only a minute when a lady walked in and she was immediately greeted by name. I ordered the wings and fries and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The food was good and the price was more than fair. In general, I noticed that the prices were inexpensive and add that southern hospitality great customer services and you have a solid local restaurant like Bbee's. Breakfast was outstanding. This is not a typical restaurant. No one was on their phones. They were all talking to everyone else. It was exactly like going out to eat breakfast with a great, big family. The owners take enormous pride in the quality of their food and the pricing. They have been in the same spot for 31 years and we can see why. We even made some new friends. Overall, a brilliant way to start off our Sunday. This eatery was hands down one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. I got the country fried steak and eggs. It was fast service, and a great atmosphere. This is obviously a local's place because everyone coming in knew the owners and were speaking to the Cook. It appeared the cook and the hosts were married to each other. When you pull up you might say I'm not sure about this place. But push past any fear and go in because the food is amazing. The restaurant was clean just a little old. You have a menu and then if you look at the board above the counter there are also daily specials. Check to the left because not only is there a daily special but a list of other specials as well. We ordered off the menu and took the advice of previous diners reviews on Yelp. We are not disappointed, the food was abundant and tasty. Neither of us could complete our meal. And the price versus the cost is phenomenal. This is a great value for your money. I hope to be in the area in the future and be able to try some of their classic meals. read more

Worst tasting coffee my wife and I ever had. Have you ever gone to a hotel and they have the drip coffee packs in your room and say it's good for 12 cups. You put 12 cups of water per instructions and it tastes like H2O flavored with coffee. That started one of my worst breakfasts ever. McDonald's never looked so good. Will never go here again. Make sure you call before going because they do go on vacation quite a bit however when you can get in there and make sure you go for breakfast and get anything with the sausage gravy on top of it it's absolutely divine. What can I say my wife and I decided after passing this place for years to finally stop and we have continued to come ever since. We shared an "Irish Breakfast " - 3 perfectly poached eggs on toasted English muffins corned beef hash, grits and coffee for about $8 + tip. We also ordered a side pancake $2 and were only able to take a bite each because we were already stuffed on the one breakfast that we shared.
