Ate here for the first time today, everything was the great. The couple that run the place are very friendly. The food was all fresh and tasted homemade. Will come back again soon!

I love supporting local small businesses. In my opinion these are the heart & soul of their communities. In addition, they are usually better than the large chain eateries because they actually care about their customers and put love into their dishes. These are the sentiments I felt when I visited Bbee's Home Cooking! I'm glad "Home Cooking" is in their restaurant's name, because that's what I felt their food is about. You get that warm communal feeling once you enter. It's like being transported back in time by decades by the ambiance. The decor screams of old school appeal by the colors, patterns, and photographs. It seems the joint is run by an older European couple (he hosts and runs the operation, she cooks the meals). They both seem very genuine and are extremely friendly. I was there for only a minute when a lady walked in and she was immediately greeted by name. I ordered the wings and fries and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The food was good and the price was more than fair. In general, I noticed that the prices were inexpensive and add that southern hospitality great customer services and you have a solid local restaurant like Bbee's. It's no fluke they have been serving the area for many years. It's a recipe for success! (Pun intended)

This eatery was hands down one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. I got the country fried steak and eggs. It was fast service, and a great atmosphere. Someone was there to greet us immediately and seat us. I will definitely come back. I didn't take a picture of the food because I ate it to fast, but it was like heaven.

This is obviously a local's place because everyone coming in knew the owners and were speaking to the Cook. It appeared the cook and the hosts were married to each other. When you pull up you might say I'm not sure about this place. But push past any fear and go in because the food is amazing. The restaurant was clean just a little old. You have a menu and then if you look at the board above the counter there are also daily specials. Check to the left because not only is there a daily special but a list of other specials as well. We ordered off the menu and took the advice of previous diners reviews on Yelp. We are not disappointed, the food was abundant and tasty. Neither of us could complete our meal. And the price versus the cost is phenomenal. This is a great value for your money. I hope to be in the area in the future and be able to try some of their classic meals.

A small place but don't go with the looks. They make a killer breakfast. I had an omelette and it was perfect. (No burn). Very friendly guy.

Had to get bloodwork done at 6:30am, so afterwards we were close to here and craving breakfast, so it was a no-brainer to stop in here. Having been born and raised in Mississippi, I am always on the hunt for some good southern homestyle cooking and I for sure found it here. First, everything about the outside and inside of the restaurant reminded me of all the lil mom and pop restaurants I was raised going to. Great nostalgia for me. Now was the food going to live up to what the place looked like?? YES! So I went in craving breakfast and then what did my little eye spy on the menu? An open-faced roast beef sandwich and they service breakfast and lunch all day? Well, yes, please and thank you! Forget brekkie, I went straight for that open-faced roast beef with fried and all of it covered in gravy. OH MY! I'm talking this is the kinda food that (as we say in the Deep South) makes you wanna slap your momma! The bread was piled high with fresh roast beef. The fries were steak fries which are my favorite. The gravy topping everything was just the chef's kiss to set everything off! So many things I want to try on the menu, but I think it's going to be a while before I order anything other than that open-faced roast beef! Hubby had scrambled eggs, toast, hash (his fav brekkie food and he asked for it crispy - they delivered), and breakfast potatoes. He said everything was great and that it's the best hash he's had. I have never been a fan of hash, but I always try it. This has I would definitely eat. It was good. Can't say I'd order it myself because I'm just not a fan, but if this is the breakfast that was served to me, I definitely wouldn't turn my nose up at it. Anyway, two big thumbs up from hubby. Wheelchair friendly. Clean restrooms. Great service from our attentive and sweet server. Food came out very fast. I also much mention the Diet Coke. You know how some are just better from certain fountains? Yes, this was one of those cold fountain Coke's that was just so good. It really hit different. I ordered water as per usual because I try to not drink soda too much, especially while I eat, but hubby mentioned how good it was so, of course I had to try it. He was right. Very good indeed. If you are in the area, don't miss out on this lil restaurant. You will not be disappointed! The only negative thing I can say is they are only open until 3pm on weekdays and only until 2pm on the weekends. Guess that's a good complaint though. LOL Sure wish they were open for dinner too b/c we'd really be eating here a lot!!

We started with cheese curds and both decided on sandwiches. I did a tuna melt on rye with Swiss, my sister ordered the market club. Both were delicious. Fries, tots and onion rings are side choices. Daily specials and soups are available. The service was spot on, def a place to become a regular at! Can't wait to go back and try something else.

I wanted everything on the menu. This was more than southern comfort. I was very impressed and each dish had the perfect balance of flavor. Portions were perfect and it's always nice to be satisfied without feeling sick after like so many "comfort" foods can. I got the Korean seabass special and it was slightly pan fried with a crisp I the edges and meaty center. The pickled peaches were excellent! The ice cream is house made and very unique. We had the popcorn, buttermilk and brown sugar. I liked the brown sugar the best. :) The drink selections were great. I really enjoyed this orange beer that had over 5 % abv and is a good contender to OBP! We will be back next month because I've got to try the ragu and gnocchi!

The pizza was definitely the star of the meal. It had a crispy bottom with a light, fluffy crust, giving it a really nice texture from the first bite to the last. One thing that stood out was the sprinkle of Parmesan cheese over the top. It's a simple touch, but it added another layer of flavor that made the pizza stand out from your typical pepperoni pizza. This was my first time trying the pepperoni bread, and it didn't disappoint. It had plenty of filling, great flavor, and paired really well with the pizza. It's something I'd order again without hesitation. The lemon pepper wings were another favorite. They had a crispy outside, were seasoned well, and the lemon pepper flavor came through without being overpowering. Overall, we were really happy with everything we ordered. The pizza, pepperoni bread, and wings all lived up to expectations. Next time, I'll probably branch out and try a few more items from the menu. That was a great decision, on my part. The staff was pleasant, the ambiance was charming, the Eggy Bagel I had was great, but the star of the show was the caramel latte they created for me. It is very much the type of environment that calls for a sit down-even if a brief one. I noticed most folk sat in with their coffees/food/pastries. The service was friendly but sadly the espresso and steamed milk machines were broken during my visit meaning many coffee items were unavailable. Major bummer as I am an iced latte lover so I settled for a cold brew which was decent. I definitely would have preferred a latte so hopefully next time I'm in Sanford, all systems are go. I also ordered the breakfast croissant sandwich and requested the turkey option instead of regular bacon. I would have assumed the "turkey" option meant turkey bacon. To my surprise it was actually deli sliced turkey. While it wasn't overall unpleasant, I would have preferred turkey bacon given it is a breakfast sandwich. Would have given it that crispy element. But as stated, it was nice and a good size for the price tag. I didn't have room for any pasty, cake or pie but looking forward to trying next time as they all looked really yummy on the display case! If you are looking for a coffee or quick cafe stop in Sanford, this is a notch above the chains and worthy of a stop!
