Cool place in Spokane. My In-Laws recommended it and they were on point. You order up at the counter and they adding you a table so your food can get to you. I was leaning a couple of different ways, but the Chicken Fried Steak was recommended and I was so glad I listened. Easily the best I have ever had and it is a go to for me when it is on the menu.

Food is always delicious There's usually a line at the till, but worth the wait. The pastries & croissants no else comes close!

Highly recommend going here for a good breakfast or brunch. The restaurant is so cute, they have a good seating area inside and outside - old farmhouse style in my opinion. You order at the counter, and then they assign you a spot. The veggie omelet with egg whites was very good, along with the classic with bacon. The Bloody Mary looked incredible, and pastries looked and smelled AMAZING as well, but we were unable to try. I highly recommend going. In a little bit of an isolated area in a grocery store parking lot, but really good + lots of parking.

Food - it's a guaranteed great. Every time I have been here, it's been great! Service- I feel so at home here! Everyone is so friendly and greets like family Brian, the bartender, rocks it. I've been here several times and have yet to have a bed experience

Enchanting brunch oasis that stole my heart with their tiramisu waffles and plentiful summer flowers seated outside on a gorgeous day. My honey lavender latte was delightful and I thought the menu had the perfect amount of unique options. We went right when they opened on a weekday at 8, but they got busy fast! The inside lighting seemed a bit dark, but all the more reason to enjoy the outer patio area. Our waitress was kind enough to take a photo of my friend and I in front of the charming "love" sign. Just an all around beautiful experience!

Came here a little late. There was barely any pastries left :( but Joey hooked it up with the last maple scone that was left and hiding in the back. He really made my grandmas day. There was a long wait to order but once we did everything was smooth sailing. The food was delish I only could capture a picture of one dish and devoured the Monte Cristo before my phone saw it. I'm leaving Spokane on Tuesday and they will be closed the next two days I'm deviated I didn't come earlier.

Unique ambiance. Baked goods seem good (only got the ginger cookie which was good but didn't have enough ginger flavor/bite to it). You wait in line to order, then they bring you the food. Around $15-20/brunch dish. Easy parking. Right next to Yoke's supermarket.

What can I say but everything exceeded my expectations! From very stylish atmosphere, to excellent staff, ample parking just to start! Then the Menu!!!! Something for everyone! The food being delivered to all of the tables was overwhelming! I wanted to try it all! We had a party of four and we had several different meals and we were all ecstatic over the presentation and quality of our meals! We will definitely be back!!! I want to try EVERYTHING!!!

Love the atmosphere and feel of this cafe! Food was decent and we had a great time. Very family oriented and they even had an outdoor play kitchen!

Went to Chaps yesterday for restaurant week. Good thing we arrived at 4:00 as the arrival of patrons increased rapidly. We were the second party seated. When we left there must have been 50 people standing at the entrance. Very open and loud atmosphere. Salmon cakes appetizer with the stuffed chicken entree and lemon cannoli dessert were my picks for my $45 meal. It was enjoyable and flavorful. Their desserts and pastries are the best.

Food - Day old cinnamon rolls, dry, zero frosting. Food was mediocre. Omelets were lacking cheese and flavor, super bland and dry. Service - their service is horrible, it's gone way down hill since Celeste left. Will definitely never go back. Not worth the one hour+ wait with children screaming and rude and inattentive servers. They messed up our food, didn't apologize and we had to ask to have it corrected. The ordering system is super strange - with the waiting in line, then ordering, then splitting the check - only to have them completely mess it up anyway and manage to type it in incorrectly while we're standing right there. They also lost one of the checks and made us sign it again. Server never checked back on the food, refilled our water or offered us additional beverages. Worst brunch in Spokane. Don't let the long lines fool you, it's a result of poor service not because of how good the food is.

Delicious! Cute! Worth the stop (and wait) for brunch. Saturday brunch - there was a festival in town so there was quite a crowd and wait but staff kept their cool and brought out perfect dishes and coffees. My son and husband loved their biscuits and chicken fried steak. My Bacon and Brie sandwich was perfection. We all fought over the fries. Can't wait to go back.

Two big bottles of olive oil in their kitchen in plain sight. Though kitchen claims they have olive oil.

Rude staff. I left and some family stayed. They waited extremely long for food. I won't go back.

Hey! Does anyone know what kind of oats are used in their oatmeal? Seriously the best I ever had, and it was over a year ago!

Every contact I've had with Grain Shed employees has been more than pleasant; they truly seem to enjoy working there, and take good care of their customers. I need to shout out to Toby and Audrey before I go on. They each provided 110% on customer service, being personable and making sure we left happy. On 2 separate trips to Spokane, I've visited the Grain Shed 3 and 4 times over the course of 3 days (yes, if you do the math, I went twice in 1 day, and the restaurant was NOT just around the corner!) Everything I've tried is delish, but in case you have to limit yourself, I highly recommend the OG, the beets and feta toast, the bread flight with sauces and cheese, the molasses ginger cookie, and maybe a chocolate croissant. I've heard their bread pudding and pumpkin pie (holiday special) are out of this world! I tried to get over to listen to their live music before leaving town, but still need to squeeze that into my schedule. Travelers: save space in your luggage for a loaf of bread. Sadly, no shipping at this time, but I'm waiting for it! This SoCal resident is officially The Grain Shed's #1 fan. I dare any of you to try to take away my title!

The Grain Shed does a farm to table model and is a bakery and brewery. I got a snack here along with a beer and left quite satisfied. I got a Grilled Cheese Sandwich on some of their house made bread with some Cheddar, Swiss and Provolone cheese. The exact name for this sandwich is the Cheesy Toastie. And of course moving on to the beer... the primary motivator to come here. I got the Kölsch beer here called Field Trip. I do love a good Kölsch as they are nice, light bodied beers. And they are especially nice in the summertime. Flavor features in this beer is maltiness, breadiness, a bit of hoppiness and a dry finish. Another beer that Steve and I tried was the INWPA which was a Pale Ale. It was also a nice light bodied beer which again hit the spot despite it being a different drinking session. Flavor characteristics in this beer is citrus, a yeastiness, hoppiness and a biscuity trait. Good beers and sandwiches and we are aiming for a return whenever we are in Spokane again.
