I would highly recommend that even if your insurance company uses this place for repairs on your vehicle, that you find another place to go. All the ways in which these people are shady: 1. When I brought my car in for a bumper replacement from a minor accident, they asked if there was anything else I needed taken car of. I alerted them to a VERY SMALL chip in my windshield and asked if they could take care of it. I was told by Bryson Cherry that they could definitely get my windshield replaced for me. Red flag. That chip could have been filled very easily at no expense to me. I am not an idiot, I did not need an entire new windshield. So I quietly decided to myself that I would get it fixed elsewhere. Shady 2. In a week, I received 4 calls about whether or not I called my insurance company to get approval for my windshield replacement. But no calls about updates on the progress of my car. Shady 3. When I went to pick up my car, my rep Bryson Cherry drove me my car with a newly cracked windshield and did not even acknowledge it. Like he did not know and did not see. Just gave me my car and was like, "here you go" without saying anything about the crack. The chip looked bigger as well. Shady 4. When I went back to discuss the crack they tried to tell me that this tiny chip I had in my windshield probably broke when they went over some bumps in the parking lot. HAHAHAHA!!! I had that chip for over a year and it never even showed the tiniest hint of cracking or spreading. I am pretty sure I have driven over bumps boys. But thanks. Then, the manager Alex tried to mansplain to me about temperature changes and condensation causing chips to spread. Like, no duh bro, that is why I wanted to get it filled in but you wanted to give me a whole new windshield that I was probably going to have to pay for. When I said that I was told that you get them filled to prevent it from cracking. Like, yes, I know that. HELLO! THEN, after that, they tried to gaslight me and tell me it was my fault because they tried to help me out and get it replaced. If I had just replaced it like they told me it would not have cracked. Shady Bottom line, it was not cracked when I took it in, and it was cracked when I got it back. They told me that it was going to happen anyway because all chips crack, every time, no matter what. So even if it happened while they had my car in their possession, it isn't their responsibility to do the right thing and just fix it. They tried to tell my insurance company they didn't know (like Bryson did not see it when he drove it up to me) and that I drove it off property and it could have happened then so they are not responsible. I think they are shady, dishonest liars and they are probably running some kind of scam when they can to bring in more money or make some kind of extra profit. Maybe there is an incentive with the glass repair company. I don't know but I would not be surprised if they pushed on it to cause the crack themselves so it was a sure thing to get the glass replaced instead of filled. They probably thought it was a sure thing that I would get it replace with them then got mad when I did not follow through with the replacement. Zero integrity. The only good thing about this place are the women at the front desk. read more

My car was rear-ended and this company was suggested by the other guy's insurance. I worried at first that I would get poor quality repairs, but upon stepping into the business it's obvious that this company takes pride in their work (despite the lack of parking for patrons--all the parking spots are reserved for specific companies, but I digress). Kamber took care of us, and she was excellent to work with. She answered all of our questions and walked us through the process of repairs for our car. To my surprise, I started receiving text alerts the next day as to the progress of my car repair, so there was never a time when I wasn't informed about what was going on with it or where it was in the repair process. The repair ended up taking about 10 days when it was estimated taking about 16, which was a pleasant surprise. I may have squealed a little when Kamber contacted me. The end result was fantastic. The car looked better than it did before the collision, and they managed to sort out some kinks that we had been trying to figure out since buying the car. We're so pleased with the results that we intend to go back and have them paint the rest of the car. They really are the best out there and I would go back in a heartbeat without any question. I heard great things about Chapman Collision in Tempe through some coworkers so decided to give them a call. From the minute I walked in, I was treated with friendly, professional, and exceptional service. Their front office staff was great! Kamber was continuously keeping me up to date with everything, and made the process with my insurance company and overall transaction with Chapman smooth like buttaaaah lol. Also, make sure to ask for Clint as your body tech guy when you bring your vehicle in. The front end of my vehicle looks as if it just came off the showroom floor when I bought it! Backstory: my car is old but much loved, so I'm picky about how it looks. I didn't have extensive damages but deep scratches and paint off due to "parking lot" incidents. My insurance company recommended this place so I thought it was worth a try. I arrived without an appointment but got right in. Charlie the manager did the initial inspection; he was great about explaining what needed to be done and why. I felt the quote was more than fair. When I dropped the car off, I had some bad news: the back bumper was cracked, more damage than we thought. Charlie rolled with that punch, finding me a new bumper for $50! This was an opportunity to really jack up the price (as my heart was set on getting it fixed) but they didn't. Very relieved. The best news is when I got the car: it looked perfect!! You can't even tell work was done. The paint matched beautifully, a surprise given the age of the car. Charlie also offered that I bring it back immediately if I find any problems later (such as rapid paint fading.) Service after the sale; much appreciated. Highly recommend. High quality work. A short time later, Aaron came out to help me, he was very nice and professional. He provided me with detailed information about the parts, rough time frame of finishing and any possible delays. After getting rear ended and having both of my bumpers damaged, my 2015 Ford F-150 was looking rough. The Chapman team did an amazing job repairing my truck and made it look like I just drove it off the lot again. Kamber Grace did and excellent job at communicating with me and handling all of the stuff I did not want to deal with. She had made the process swift and made sure I was in my rental until my vehicle was done. Kamber and the staff at Chapman Collusion are incredible! The muffler on my car fell off and when it did it tore up the back body of my vehicle. I was stressed out and Kamber made the situation a lot less stressful. She got me a preliminary estimate quick. She stayed in touch with me and updated me often. My car was fixed and back in my possession in a little over a week. Her team did an excellent job. The back of my car looks brand new, the car runs great, and they even did some minor touch ups to other parts of my car just to make it look a little nicer. We were hit while parked with the engine off in a bank lot. A driver backed her car into our passenger side crossing adjacent spaces. We only saw her at the last second - one of those "who would of thunk it" moments. The hit was hard enough to total the front passenger door, dent the frame, and throw the back passenger door out of alignment. Kamber Grace of Chapman Collision coordinated everything with the other owner's insurer and made sure we received a comparable rental car for the duration. The car was finished before the proposed date and the work was fantastic. (Our one year old car was still in great condition and now it looks mint.) The work they did was good even though I had to go back in for the reset of the computer systems. The issue was they ran the approval for my rental car to be paid by the insurance of the person who hit me. They estimated I would need a car from their onsite Enterprise car rental location until August 28, 2019. My car was not done until September 6, 2019 resulting in a difference of $257. Chapman and Enterprise stiffed me with this bill as neither would take responsibility. So, be very careful should you have to rent a car through them. Enterprise put the charge through without my authorization after I told them give me a day to call Chapman who never called me back as it was. I will never use either of these organizations again. read more

I got into a car accident about 3 weeks ago and after talking with several different collision centers and my insurance, I was able to get my car into Chapman. It only took a couple days after my accident to get my car towed to them, which was amazing, as all other collision centers were not taking tow ins for weeks. With the help of Princeton Steele, my car was moved through the shop quickly. Princeton was very helpful when it came to letting me know the status and updates on my car. He was also very pleasant and professional in conversations, as were the rest of the staff. Worst place ever and they scam insurances companies. I got hit by someone and there insurance was paying for my vehicle to get fixed. The insurance company told me to take it to them for a quote and while it's there I get a rental. Well these money hungry mother fuckers took my car and starting fixing it and told me they don't do quotes only. When I told them I wanted my vehicle they said it was already taken apart just to get the fix. Had my BMW painted a few times by Chapman Collision. The work initially looked great each time, but then the paint/clear coat didn't consistently hold up over the years in a few areas. They would repaint/refinish under the warranty. However, it seemed like prior management was hesitant in doing a complete job when repainting the degraded areas. Under the new management, Charlie Abbinanti took care of the problem by including the areas that needed refinishing - regardless of whether the warranty covered it or not. I have to say I worked with Kevin and joe and they are amazing from start to finish when I dropped my car off to Kevin he made sure I was fully awear of the process and he kept me informed through the process he sent me updates so I was in the loop about my car. If I could give 0 stars I would. They said my car would be finished in a week, which then became two weeks, then three weeks, then even longer, AND all the while no one called me to even let me know. I had to contact them over and over. Then when it was finally finished, I went to get gas and my gas tank door would not open (and I was out of gas! To top it off, they said they'd take care of the cost of the extra car rental fee, and of course they lied, never covering that cost. Extremely disappointed. NEVER TAKE YOUR CARE HERE!!!!
