I went to Chapman Collision Center after someone backed into my wife's car and caused the front bumper to pop out. Kamber was extremely helpful and her team took great care of me. They were able to fix my front bumper to where it looked like nothing even happened. Price ended up almost exactly what the gave me as an estimate. I would highly recommend Chapman Collision Center to anyone looking for a company with great customer service and takes care of their customers. read more

I was rear ended in December and had my car towed to Chapman because of their experience with BMWs. I found great service throughout my experience, especially from Kamber in services and John in rentals. They kept me well informed and were extremely polite throughout. This was my first time at this body shop to replace my bumper as well as my front door which broke due to wear and tear. I brought the car in on Monday evening and not only were both jobs done in 4 days, but they cleaned and polished the car, and gave me a ride to and from the body shop. Kamber is very friendly and was a pleasure to work with. Thank you! read more

Cynthia has been stopping in to see me for years. My clients can drive in from Tempe, Mesa, and Scottsdale to have Brian check out the damage. Whether a client has a dent, scratch, or accident, Chapman can help. Brian, the body shop manager can work with other insurance companies as well. Not just the best! read more

Tyler is extremely professional and friendly! He answered every question I had as my car was being repaired, and was forthright in the status as well. He let me know exactly what they were in the process of doing to my car and what they had planned to do for the next few days. The car came out absolutely beautiful! Very excellent job! read more

I recently took my Toyota Corolla to Chapman Collision Center for repairs after an accident. Getting into an accident can be stressful. Chapman Collision Center made the repair process stress free. Kamber took care of me from getting my car in for repairs, setting up the rental and returning my car back to pre-accident condition. I would recommend Kamber and Chapman Collision Center to anyone that needs collision repair. Thank you Kamber! read more

Had an appointment at 11:45 am. Waited until 1230 to see an agent . I was told over the phone that it would take 20 mins . I had to go back to work . I was late what a complete waste of time . Go to a different shop save your time . read more

I was rear ended and needed my tailgate repaired, so decided to take my Outback to Chapman Collision Tempe. The experience was very easy from start to finish. I worked with Kamber Grace and she was so helpful, and provided great customer experience. My car looked great once it was finished. Im over this shop!!! I dropped my vehicle off on 3/30. They are horrible at returning calls!!! They don't give updates. I've been without a car for 2 weeks. They waited until Friday after everything is closed to tell me they have never spoken to the other drivers insurance. My car is drivable. They didn't have to keep my car this entire time. They are holding my vehicle to collect storage fees. I've gotten 2 stories from 2 different workers that contradict each other. They are 100% shady. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CHAPMAN COLLISION!!!! read more

Dropped my corvette off for repairs. The service was great my car was available for pick up earlier then expected until the next time I drove my car I noticed the mirror on the drivers seat was shattered, this was not how I dropped my car off. The fact that they thought I wouldn't notice is beyond me. Very unprofessional I'm taken back by it. You would expect more from a big collision center that Chevy is affiliated with. Makes me wonder what else went on with my car meanwhile It was under repair. read more

Brian Hinton was VERY VERY super helpful. I had a minor issue with my car, I called him and he asked to bring ny car in for him to assess the issue. After bringing my car in he was able to deliver in a way that made smile. All I can say is, it's nice to know that there are still people who are not in the world to take advantage of people. Anytime if I need any work in the future I will DEFINITELY come here to have the work done. The finished job looks AWESOME!!! THANKS BRIAN I would like to also make sure Erika S. is recognized for her EXCELLENT customer service. Her customer service did set the tone for the entire facilty in how they handle business. And again the tone was "EXCELLENT" THANK YOU ERIKA read more

Just wanted to give a shout out for Kamber Grace! Having our car repaired placed a big burden on us as Chapman initially told us it would take more than 4 weeks for repairs. I am a RN and during this Covid 19 difficult time I am working many hours at Valleywise HMC down town Phoenix, and not having vehicle was so hard. Kamber heard our concerns! Even though on Chapman's side of difficulty in getting parts due to Covid, things were expedited and we were able to get our car back in 2 weeks. I can drive in to work tomorrow instead of using Uber! Thanks Kamber and thanks Chapman. read more

I had a great experience. Bryson Cherry is a really cool dude. I called him like 20 times so he could update me on the process because I needed my car as soon as it was finished. He called me to update me on what parts were coming in and when. He's honestly really kind about everything and he has strong communication. read more

Recently, i had this crazy accident with my new 2019 Chevy Bolt -Electric. Few days ago, I was very tired coming back from work and not very attentive and may have dozed off for a split second. And as those electric cars have extremely high acceleration, I hit a 8" high concrete curb on the right while taking a wide left turn and totally trashed the front right wheel, suspension system, drive axcel-train, brake system, right fender body parts front bumper and many other pieces. It was UGLY!! to add to that, the Tow Truck could not get it on the truck as the broken axel/chassis brought the car too low to the ground. So, that created more damage all around other parts of the car's body and chassis. In short the damage was massive! Chapman Collision Center at 5301 S. Kyrene Rd was my champion to make the Amazing meticulous repair both on the mechanical fixes --drive-train/chassis, brakes as well as on the body damages --ALL TOTALLY BACK TO TH ORIGINAL! KAMBER GRACE was assigined as my Colision Consultant.. She handled this repair extremely professionally as well as with amazing friendliness! I am very impressed by her way of handling me as a customer; she totally kept me posted with the repair progress- estimating, dealing with the insurance appraisers, parts ordering/procurement and the bodyshop repair progress. All in all it was an amazing job by Kamber, delivering me with an almost a brand new car all nicely cleaned, polished and fully tested! THANK YOU KAMBER! Wish I meet more people like you in life, when I need such assistance in circumstances like this. God bless. read more

Having bought my BMW i8 at Chapman BMW, I took the GM's recommendation to take it to their collision center on Kyrene. I'm so glad I did. Mgr Brian Hinton was professional and courteous throughout. Updating me on the vehicle's progress, target delivery date, etc. Though this was a minor cosmetic repair for them, at a fair price, they made me feel like their most important customer in the shop. The repairs were beautiful and the car was delivered back to me all detailed and immaculate. Can't say enough about Brian and his staff. A consummate, professionally run facility. read more

Never made it past the receptionist. Just rude as can be and very unhelpful. Times have definitely changed in the collision repair industry. Didn't want to write an estimate because they didn't do work for my insurance company. I explained that if it was less or close to my deductible it would be self pay and that my agent asked for estimates. They proceeded to tell me that's not how the process works. Apparently they didn't need my business. read more

I had a 10:00 am appointment for an estimate on 7/17/2020, I arrived a few minutes early, completed the paperwork, after waiting for 10-15 mins I ask the receptionist if she knew how long it would be, I had a doctor appointment at 11:30, she proceeded to tell me that it was going to take longer maybe an hour, because they were behind in their paperwork and would have to get caught up first, she told me that I could come back in a couple of hours. That's why I made the appointment! I had heard that this place wasn't able to interact professionally with people of color, I found out today. Shame on Chapman BMW. read more

I dropped my car off and they didn't even get around to doing an estimate for 2.5 weeks. I called 4 times within 1 week and left 1 email and never got a call back. I literally had to drop in to get any feedback. They are extremely nice but they do not follow up and just leave you hanging. I literally got everything finalized 1 week before my rental was up which did not give me much time to find a car as my car was finally rendered totalled. My stress could've been reduced if they had take the time to not wait so long. and if they had communicated with me. read more

After getting several quotes from various collision centers, Chapman Collision came back with the most competitive quote. I worked with Kevin, and he was awesome to work with! So easy to communicate with. Very fair with his pricing, even came down slightly from his initial bid since it was an easier fix than originally anticipated. He took extra steps to make sure everything was working perfectly. They also drove me back to work, and delivered my car back to me at the office. I can't say enough good things about the service I received here! I'll refer everyone that I know here. Thanks Kevin! read more

I just want thank Chapman Collision for getting my Jetta back to me in great shape! I was hit by someone on the freeway and had to fight with their insurance just to get them to accept responsibility. And I am sure if it weren't for Chapman Collision, that my car wouldn't have been fixed properly. They handled getting all the approvals from the insurance for proper repairs. And made my Jetta look like new again! If I ever get in an accident again, I will definitely use Chapman Collision for my repairs. Thank you! read more

A couple weeks ago I got hit by some idiot in our complex and our insurance company told us about this place, I just want to say overall they did a decent job. Took a little longer than I expected I kinda feel like they rushed it toward the last week. Also when we got our car back it smelt like cigarettes which we did see some ashes in our car. I'm gonna rate it 3 stars just cause I think they could've done a better job. But thank you for getting it done! read more

My car got rear ended Oct. 22 and I turned to Chapman to get it fixed. It was a claim covered by insurance. I had a hard time getting it scheduled and getting a call back from the estimator and eventually escalated to the manager M. Drate. My car went in 11/1/22 and was in the shop for more than two months. Completion dates kept moving every time I inquired about my car. I had hoped to get regular updates without having to initiate them myself which rarely happened. First it was waiting to get disassembled to know what parts are needed, then it was getting the parts, then it was waiting for the insurance payment. It was a tedious process. When I picked up my car January 10, I was presented my final invoice and payed the customer balance. This week 3/1, 1 1/2 months later, I was contacted by M. Drate that I still owe money and was presented a different invoice than the one I paid back in January with an ending paragraph alerting me that this would be going to collections if not settled quickly. What a way to communicate with a multiple Chapman car owner! No, I think we are finished buying Chapman vehicles. A sad testament for a family owned business in Arizona. read more

After reading the reviews I went ahead and took my car to get repaired after a collision and Kevin was the person who took care of the process. He answered all my questions (believe me, I have plenty). He was very considerate and made sure I was kept informed of the progress of my car. I highly recommend asking for Kevin next time you go in. read more

Had a crazy accident, stopped by to get an estimate. Oh my gosh, they were amazing from the time I walked in until the time I had my car back. Helped with car rental and kept me informed every step of the way. Would and am recommending them to anyone who is in need of auto repair!!! read more

The shop does great work. I did not utilize insurance and paid out of pocket. I had about 4 quarter sized indents on my rear bumper and it needed to be replaced. My vehicle was repaired ahead of schedule, with OEM parts. It looks as if it never happened. I'm very particular and even the slightest offsets bug me, so not being able to even tell the bumper was replaced is amazing to me. My estimator was Jose Leon and he was very helpful, kept me updated, and and went out of his way to provide me with invoices for the parts used on my vehicle. I requested them as I like to keep a record for my own file. I'd like to specifically point out that I really appreciated that Jose communicated with me through email. I do not have time to answer calls, and I prefer email. The whole process was pretty effortless and fast. read more

They did an awesome job, I worked with Aaron who was super helpful and amazing through the whole process. Getting rear ended is never good but these guys really worked hard and made this whole thing so much less stressful. I was able to get a rental through them for the few days my car was in the shop. The rental was completely sanitized before hand. The office place was super clean, and most importantly my car was sanitized and cleaned upon being returned. Thank you again so much, and shout out to Aaron for taking really good care of me ! read more

I am super impressed with this establishment! I've never used an auto repair shop, so I didn't know what to expect, but they made everything so flawless and easy. Aaron and Alberto were super respectful and communicative with updates, and took great care of my car. I also really appreciated the automated text updates! read more

From drop off to pick up, Chapman took professional care of both me and my 2020 BMW. Assessment and estimate was quick and precise. Arrangement of on-property rental car was as smooth as possible. I appreciated the frequent autoMated progress reports of the repairs and the several phone calls. From drop off to pick up total time was 4 days and completion was several hours before anticipated. Most importantly the repairs to my front end are flawless. Overall my experience with Chapman Collision could not have been better. Thank you to all the staff and especially Kamber for all you did to make things perfect. read more

I had the displeasure of dealing with Patricia over a door ding on a Kia that ended up costing about $2500 to repair. The outrageous price for a Kia door ding fix aside, this shop could not be bothered to communicate properly with myself or the other party involved. Unless Patricia was calling to tell me I had to pay more money (4 different times) there was no status update and I had to email and call several times to arrange a rental car for the other party. I will never do business with another Chapman entity. read more

I previously had a good experience getting my car repaired at Chapman in Tempe after a minor collision, so I returned there the next time I needed repairs after a bigger collision. Big mistake. The repairs took three weeks, and only moved that fast because I called regularly. They communicated poorly about the process, expectations, cost, etc. The costs were way out of whack, and there were multiple communication gaps between the shop and my insurance broker, leading me to get bad information more than once. At one point, I was nearly ready to have them just put my car together unfinished so I could take it elsewhere, and I regret that I didn't because the quality was so bad. The door edge plastic trim was done so poorly, it fell off a day or two after I got the car back. The car battery failed a couple weeks later (my paperwork says the shop replaced the battery, but it's unclear if that happened/if I was charged for a new battery or not). The AC (which they had "fixed") didn't work, so I had to take it back to them. It worked OK after their second repair. But now, a couple months later, it's again not working and also runs very loud. I called 5 days ago to see if they can again fix what they didn't do correctly the first time, and no one has called back. A disappointing, stressful experience all around. read more

Great service and very friendly staff. Alex and Austin took good care of my car. It was a minor part replacement but they took good care of it. Fast and great quality service. I'd for sure come back if needed :) read more

Currently I think their customer service is the worst I have encountered. They say (Patty) that they will call you with status updates.... They don't. They tell you that your car will be ready on a certain day... It isn't. They post hours that they are open.... I cannot get past answering machine. I am having to deal with them through my son who is busy earning an education. They know that I am calling from Vegas. I think their ratings are paid for because I am not happy at this very moment read more

My work/fleet vehicle was in a collision and Chapman collision took care of it quickly and efficiently. It was a little more complicated because the vehicle was not registered to me (my office) but Kamber Grace stepped in and made the entire process as smooth as possible from start to finish. Everyone else (Kimberly) there was extremely helpful. Thank you Chapman Collision. read more

Avoid at all costs!!! Their work is insanely sloppy and their communication is dismal. Not only did they actually LOSE pieces that were already on the car and try to deliver it as if it were whole, they put lives at risk by not securing pieces down with screws. Frickin' SCREWS were taken out and not replaced. It's ridiculous. I've never seen anything like this before. Chapman won't even answer their phones if you call, or they'll send you to voicemail, so good luck ever getting a hold of them to complain. Please please please go anywhere else. These folks consistently do a bad job and put their customers at risk. read more

I am not one who typically leaves reviews but I was pleasantly surprised by my recent visit to Chapman Collision and thought they earned 5 stars from me. Being the owner of a small business, I am always paying close attention to how other business treat their customers. Chapman was great! The service was great! The prices were competitive. But most importantly, I felt that they were working to help me and serve me as a customer rather than finding ways to make money (Kamber was that awesome). It ended up costing less to fix my car than I expected because they were able to buff out some scratches rather than having to do major body work. I will recommend this place to anyone I know! Five stars! read more

OUSTANDING from start to finish. Minor fender bender turned into an opportunity to get all the little blemishes on the car repaired. Jackie and Kim at the front desk were friendly, polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. Jose was amazing, I literally went over the other non accident related blemishes on the car once with him and he didn't skip a beat. Everything I asked to be given a little attention on was done and done flawlessly. He was super knowledgeable and very attentive over the little extras that I wanted fixed and he was able to get it done at a very fair price. Kamber was my eyes and ears and kept me informed of what stage my car was in at all times. She was there for me pretty much from cradle to grave. I can tell that everyone takes pride in their work over there and at no time did I ever feel like a number. Such a great experience and to top it all off my car looks AMAZING! I will recommend Chapman Collision to all my friends and family. My repairs were minor but I felt like their number one customer. Great job to everyone involved. Thank you! read more
