After requesting to place an order for a cake I would need the next day the staff was more than happy to accept my order. Originally, I would have liked to order a carrot cake but those cakes need to be ordered at least a week in advance so that was very much my fault. I ended up going with a classic tres leches cake which tasted wonderful. Miriam was the one to help me out. Bonus points for having the same name ;) Miriam made great detailed questions to make sure the cake was exactly what I wanted it to be referencing off a picture I had showed her as inspiration. From size all the way down to the smallest details, Miriam disclosed information about how certain designs or details I wanted would change the presentation of the cake, and made sure I was delightlfuly satisfied with what would be the result. She broke down every last detail including how the icing would likely stain our mouths and very nicely reassured me that it would rise right off with water swishes. Overall I was incredibly satisfied with the service I was given, and I greatly appreciate how Miriam thought about every question in order to complete my desired vision.

The bread is always served warm, glazed with butter and sugar, and it's fairly inexpensive, costing $4 for five pieces. The bread is a hit at parties because the hot, sweet bread is hard to resist. I came at the end of the day, and the senorita bread was still available, hot and fresh! They're also open at 6am, which is great if I want a warm snack for the team at work. They close at 6pm; however, they have their mochi donuts, malasadas, and donuts at 50% off in their last hour of operation (5p-6p). Coming in at 5pm, I was able to get three mochi donuts for $5, and a malasada for $1.29. It's reasonable at full price, but it's a steal at happy hour!
