I ended up having my personal storage drive fail, which included things like tax returns, credit reports, loan documents - overall, critical documents that were no longer in paper form. Chandler Data Professionals was recommended to me by my work's system administrator, who had used Tom's services in the past and was very pleased - sentiments I can echo 100 times over. I called up Tom on a Saturday, and he told me to come on down after I explained what my errors were. Based on his preliminary assessment and my errors, he was not going to sugar coat it and that my drive was severely damaged to the point it could potentially fail during the recovery process. WOW! I knew I had an external backup that probably didn't have much life left, but before I could get everything in order, it failed. I wish I could give Tom 5 stars and would for his work. I had a drive fail and decided to pay someone to recover it instead of doing it myself especially when I saw Tom's 'special' for $279.95. Tom gave me regular feedback on progress and let me know he was able to recover all but 16 files most of which were not important. Happy was the day when I went to pick up my drive. Long story, excuse my bad English. My external hard drive won't mount on any device. I made a back-up but I still lost 100GB of data. To get my WD external hard drive repaired, I went to 3 places. The first one was closed but it was supposed to open. The second one couldn't repair it but he knew what could be wrong. The third place couldn't repair it either but they introduced Tom to me. After a couple of days I gave it to Tom for diagnosis, I came to his office and he explained everything to me, such as what's wrong with my external hard drive, what would happen if I don't fix it, the steps to fix it, what does each step do, etc. He also told me the risk of trying to fix it. Tom was amazing to work with! He was extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful and thorough. I dropped my external hard drive on our tile floor and knew it was bad when I plugged it in and only heard a faint humming sound and my computer wouldn't recognize the drive. Due to its condition, with my permission, he outsourced it to Desert Data Recovery who was very professional and respectful to my concerns.
