Now about the building--if you've been around for a while, you probably remember when it was Heidi Haus on Court Street. I went in there many times, and it was such a sweet, charming place. Honestly, it feels like the perfect spot for Magill's now. The character of the building really adds to the whole experience. The only thing I'd love to see improved is the service. The ladies who work there clearly have a lot of experience, but sometimes the interaction can feel a bit routine or lacking warmth. A little more friendliness and engagement would really take the experience to the next level and match how great the food is. And I mean... my poor mom ordered an orange juice and it showed up not even cold. That's one of those small details that really shouldn't be missed. No care, no effort, and no regard for the quality of the food being served. The only halfway decent thing on the plate was the beans, the atmosphere was nice and the place looked clean but even that wasn't enough to make up for the disaster of a meal. I will never be coming back, and my message to the owner is simple: Would you eat this? If the answer is no, then why are you serving it to paying customers at an outrageous price?
