I have driven through once and had it delivered with DoorDash several times but won't be eating this food again until the owner/management changes. They are understaffed and the food has not been good. The last time, the chicken smelled so old I couldn't even begin to eat it. They gave me root beer instead of Diet Coke so I couldn't drink it and didn't include any gravy. They are frequently missing items so might throw in an extra of something else instead. Customer service was good, but that's about it. Restaurant seemed woefully understaffed and we waited about 10 minutes after going through the drive thru for our food. The fries were some of the worst we have ever had - they tasted like old grease and clearly had been sitting out for hours. 3/21/2026 - we got an 8 piece original chicken dinner and paid $36.00 for it. The chicken coating was dry and stale; the biscuits were stale and hard; they didn't include any butter or honey in the order. We called to speak with their manager twice but the said he was in a meeting and they would have him call us back which he never did. It seems like their prices went up and the quality went way down. Went into the Walla Walla KFC to pre-order for a reception after my mother's service. Wow!! If I could give Marcos 10 Stars, I would. 100% above and beyond customer service. Very personable and efficient. We pre-ordered at 10:00 am for a 1:00 pm pick up. The order was ready when we arrived to pick up. More impressively, it was hot and fresh, indicating his time management skills are stellar. He was managing both the Libby counter and drive up with ease and a smile. Food is horribly bad the chicken was always greasy and lacked flavor. Chicken was never moist and tender. Service was ok at best whenever you have an issue they usually would try to help ya out, but...then their were other times where they didn't care. I think the KFC in Walla Walla does not l like old people. Three times we have stopped for chicken. The KFC in La Grande is awesome. This KFC serves old, overdone chicken. We made the mistake of not opening it up before coming home. Have talked with other seniors and they have found the same. Ok so I live in town here and I try and try to give this KFC the benefit that maybe it's just young people but today was the last time I will try and go there. I placed an order and wanted to add chicken littles 4 of them and they told me I can't do that because they are to busy and I would have to go thru the drive thru again wth it's 4 chicken strips 8 pickles and 4 buns really I have to go to the end of the line for that. We went through the drive through and ordered our meal. It was nothing special or complicated, just 3 burgers, 1 medium fry, and 2 drinks. The girl at the window is looking up at a screen and mumbles "Can you pull up and park?" After establishing that she was actually talking to me, I obliged and pulled forward. The spots to wait were full and so I continued forward and parked on the next side of the building in a Doordash spot. We watched as the 2 cars before us got their food and drove off. Then a female worker walks out with a bag of food to the van that arrived after us. We thought that seemed odd and maybe they had gotten our bag, but the food was handed off and the van left. Several minutes later a male worker walks out and names the foods in the bag he was holding, asking if that is ours. It wasn't. He simply goes "Oh...." and walks away. Several more minutes pass and a girl walks out and to our car. She asks what we ordered and I told her. Without another word she disappears back into the store. Several minutes later again and she comes back out and wordlessly hands me a bag. I take it and say "Thank you" to which she mumbles "Yeah", turns, and walks away. We waited close to 20 minutes for this "fast food" and got nothing but attitude the entire time. Would have been nice to, at the VERY least, hear an apology for the wrong order and delay. I stopped in for my usual order. The price went up $3 so when I got to the window I asked the gal if the prices had gone up. She said yes, unfortunately so. The coleslaw side was no longer a $1 it was $3.05. OK, as long as the charges were accurate. I got my order and as I was pulling away from the window I heard a guy in the back ask the gal at the window about coleslaw. It led be to believe he was questioning if my order should include coleslaw. So at my next stop, Rose Street Safeway, I parked and looked at my order. There was no coleslaw in the bag or in the box with the chicken, where they usually put it. I backed up and went back to KFC. I told the gal at the window that they forgot my coleslaw and handed her my receipt. She took it and went to the back. She was gone longer than it took to get my original order. I thought, how long does it take to grab a coleslaw? Then a different woman came to the window. My initial thought was that it was the shift manager to apologize for the error. She had a small bag in her hand, and she leaned in and said to me " I know your coleslaw was in the box, but I'm going to give this to you anyway." I grabbed my order, on the passenger seat next to me, and put it through my window. I told her there is no coleslaw in here, check for yourself. She stepped back and said no, that's ok. I held it there and insisted she check it, I am not a liar! She refused, stating it must have been a different order. If you are going to accuse your customers of being liars and thieves, you should make sure you have the right one. I am not going to go out of my way to steal a 1/2 up of coleslaw! I threw the coleslaw away and will never go back. I called the manager to explain what happened to me and he wanted to know if I wanted a coleslaw! LOLOL no thanks. I will never go back. The worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant in my 57 years. I have worked in food service on every level for 43 years and this is most appalling. I stopped in to order some chicken tonight, but found the menu confusing - I saw a lot about "poppers" & "tenders", but not much about actual pieces of chicken. I finally spotted a small section at the bottom about chicken meals, however, a "meal" included two sides, coleslaw, a biscuit & soda. I only wanted one side, no coleslaw and no soda. I think this used to be called a "combo". When I told the clerk that I just wanted a couple pieces of chicken and one side, he was incredulous. He kept repeating "You only want chicken and ONE side??" over and over. I kept telling him that I didn't want all the extra's that came with the meal, and that I don't drink soda. Waited 30 mins for our food, while waiting we noticed the young girl's n boys in the back messing around and flirting amongst each other...to top it off one of the girls in there was very sick with a cold could not stop coughing every few seconds all over food being prepared she should have been at home rather than at work in a fast food restaurant spreading the sickness to the customers...Contemplated on getting a refund and going somewhere else...but to avoid confrontation we waited patiently and got our food and sat down and tried to eat but had a kid in the lobby sweeping next to us and then proceeded to mop next to us we felt we were in the way so we got our food and left...all while the manager was sitting in the lobby on his cell phone eating ignoring the whole situation. read more

Just got home with my latest local KFC order. It was missing a paid-for chicken pot pie. On my last drive-through order, it was missing a sandwich. This happens frequently. The filthiest fast food place I have seen in a long time. Was there at 7:30 at night and they had already blocked half the dining room with dirty garbage cans so that they could clean for closing. Pop, hair, and garbage was strewn all over the soda counter. Pop was spilled and caked on the ENTIRE floor of the dining room and it looked like it hadn't seen a mop in days. The walls, seats and tables looked greasy, worn out and dingy. Under the tables and along the walls there was tons of crumbs and food remnants that have been there for forever. There was a pungent odor of sour, rotten garbage emanating from the corner where the garbage cans were. Staff seemed lazy and more concerned with their social issues than helping customers. The parade of lights had just let out and we ended up having to move the garbage cans and clean off our own tables just to have a place to sit since the rest of the dining room was full of customers. Surprisingly the food was good but I'd never stomach eating there again until the Health Department had given it's ok and they did some major deep cleaning and sanitizing. read more
