The last time I went to Bruchi's, I ordered a foot long sandwich and got about 1 ounce and a half of meat on the sandwich. So it tasted like ALL bread sandwich with a very lite garnish of meat. As I have mentioned at least once, I think the sandwich is nature's most perfect food: your favorite stuff in an edible container. And Bruchi's has great examples of the hot and cold variety. Their prices are comparable to subway, and for the amount you get sometimes actually better. One of my biggest gripes with most Bruchi's is speed of preparation. I spent three years in Philadelphia and any where you went they could have that goodness whipped out almost as fast as you order it. I think the problem partly resides in people out here wanting to scoop the contents into the bun with an ungainly spatula. In Philly, the bun gets slapped on top of the contents while still on the grill and the whole thing scooped up and flipped at once. This Bruchi's seems to have found the secret to getting it done fast so I give them props. I also like the patriotic decor they have going on here. It's pretty fucking disgusting when the lady employee is taking her gloves off to touch the register and mask then puts her glove right back on and continues to go about prepping food. I've gotta say that I'm a little surprised by the low reviews of this place. My experience here has been really good every time I've come in. It's one of the few places where you can get a good cheesesteak sandwich, and they have pastrami, which was excellent. Everything seems to be made fresh, so it takes a bit longer than someplace like subway, or Jimmy John's, but it's definitely worth the extra wait. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices are competitive with other sandwich shops. My only complaint is that the parking lot kinda sucks if you drive anything but a subcompact car. read more

The cheesesteak sandwiches are delicious. My only issue is that the 8 inch subs are not 8 inches. They are a smaller. The meat is also a little dry if it's not mixed with the melty cheese. The price is a little high considering the size but they are still worth trying if your looking for a good sandwich. They also have a sandwich named the gobbler. Think of a turkey sandwich you would make after thanksgiving. It is also worth trying although the cheesesteak is still the best. Stopped in Kennewick for a late lunch while on a road trip. My boyfriend ordered the classic cheesesteak. It looked like dog food. It was a lot of bread with some ground up meat and processed cheese... at least it was edible, unlike the salad that I ordered. The lettuce was beyond wilted, parts of it were black and slimy. I hate returning food and rarely ever do, even if it's bad, but his was inedible. I did not have a good experience at this Bruchi's. First of all, they overcharged me $9 for my order. When I asked for the receipt they were very dismissive and continued to ignore me. The fries came and they were very stale. After all of these troubles I was not even given the fry that I ordered with the kids meal I ordered.
