Ryan and Mark work fantastic to work with. We put in a brand new 14x37 pool and it is the first pool we've ever done. They were efficient from start to finish, getting in done surprisingly fast even with a few last minute changes at the end from us. Communication was clear throughout and expectations were exceeded. I give my highest recommendation and only wish every business relationship I had was as good as the one with Chambers. read more

Just finished our new pool using Chambers Pools. It was a great experience! Ryan and his team walked us through every step and decision and completed the project ahead of our timeline! The thing l loved the most is they are "hands on" showing up on the job to direct the subs, answer questions and make sure the quality level is high. after installing pools at previous homes, with other companies, i would never use anyone but these guys! thumbs up! Chambers Pools recently completed a renovation and insulation remodel of our older pool, and the final result is amazing. The entire project was completed on time and on budget, which we really appreciated. Ryan did an excellent job managing everything from start to finish, with great communication throughout the entire process. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't be happier with how the pool turned out. Highly recommend Chambers Pools! read more

We had the best experience from start to finish with Chambers! They are extremely hands-on, attentive, and diligent. They were SO patient with our millions of questions and concerns. The project took WAY less time than we anticipated. And all of the workers were very kind and respectful as well. I cannot recommend them enough! Worth every penny! read more

Contacted chambers to replace pool heater. Was told tech would return call. After a few days, no call. Called back and told tech was busy but would follow up. After a week still no call. I like to use local companies. However I feel this company is not one I would use. If they cannot even return a call, I can imagine how I would be able to depend on them to actually do a job. Went with another local company that was more responsive. read more

Requested a simple quote--though I have to admit, I'm a bit baffled. Quoting a premium price without even coming out to see the job in person is impressive. I didn't realize photo-based estimating had become the gold standard for any type of professional work. Pure laziness. At that rate, I assume the crew shows up with x-ray vision and psychic powers? In all seriousness, for a price like that, I'd expect at least a site visit and a breakdown of where the costs are coming from. that's obviously not something this company offers, I'll continue looking for a company that actually assesses a job before pricing it like a luxury renovation. They just throw out a number hoping you'll be stupid or desperate enough to actually accept such a ridiculous quote instead of saying the job is to small or they are overbooked. Look elsewhere. read more

Ryan with Chambers Pools is AMAZING. Met with Ryan and discussed re-plastering our pool and spa. Ryan was detailed with options and solutions. Ryan assured that the work would be completed in one week and he delivered on his promise. What impressed me most was the daily phone call from Ryan to discuss what was performed each day and what was going to happen the following day. He was available for all questions we had. Ryan with Chambers Pools exemplifies what customer service is all about. Fantastic job Ryan!!! read more

Chambers Pool is the best. They just refinished our very outdated pool and the end result is off the charts. Ryan was amazing to work with but the team was off the charts. Remarkable craftsmanship and a group that takes pride in quality work! We couldn't be happier with our "new" pool. read more

The staff and owner of chambers pool service are honest and thorough. They did an excellent job setting up a ginormous hot tub and also installing all the electric which included digging a trench all the way around a backyard. They tidied up extremely neatly and we're very pleased with the work. read more

Mark Chambers and his son, Ryan, are amazing! I had been working with another pool company and it was a struggle every step of the way. I finally terminated the other pool company and hired Chambers Pools. It's the best decision I could have possibly made. Chambers was very responsive, professional, knowledgeable and the end product is absolutely amazing to plus they essentially finished the pool from the gunite shell in 12 days including all equipment installation, coping, finish plaster, etc. Additionally, the attention to detail and service follow up has been exemplary. I recommend them completely! read more

It was a pleasure working with Mark and Ryan Chambers. They were extremely communicative and responsive, and did everything they could to give us the pool of our dreams. As issues arose, as they always do when building a pool, they did whatever was needed to make it right. They completed our dream pool on time and on budget. My wife and I highly recommend Chambers Pools. read more

I would recommend staying away from this company. They only came and serviced our pool twice. The first time they backwashed my filter onto my decomposed granite and left ruts that I had to fix. Mark told us that our filter needed to be upgraded and provided a quote. We told him we would think about it but that we had just replaced the sand in our filter and didn't want to spend that much when our filter has worked fine for the past 10 years. We received an email from LuAnn saying they were still waiting to hear back from us about the filter, but again, we weren't interested and that wasn't what we contracted them to do. On the second pool service they cleaned the pool and turned on our water to add fresh water to our pool and never turned off our water. We found it still running that evening. Our pool had been overflowing all day. When we let Lu Ann know about it she simply replied saying she would let Mark know and again said they were waiting to hear about the filter upgrade. No apology at all. I called and spoke to Mark today because we returned from vacation to find our pool in need of service. Last week they were not able to come on our regular day but said they would come on Saturday. We looked at our cameras to see if anyone came and they hadn't. So I cleaned the pool myself and called Mark to tell him they didn't need to come tomorrow, which is our normal day. He got very defensive and accusatory. He didn't like that I knew my pool and asked why I needed a pool service company if I was such an "expert". He was condescending and rude. He has no concept of listening to a frustrated customer and instead attacks the customer. I finally told him there was no need to return and I hung up on him. I really just needed his company to show up consistently and clean/brush my pool and add chemicals. Instead a got a very confrontational, high pressure sales guy, with very little customer service skill. Seems like he knows a lot about pools, just horrible at customer service and very condescending. Would not recommend...to anyone...ever. read more

Sorry to say this guy is ripping people off. He's marking up equipment to people at 1.5x to 2x the cost he's getting parts. His scheduling dept can't keep track of days and often won't show up at all. When they do they do the bare minimum. This business is doing some suspect activity to say the least. Read the other reviews and stay away at all costs. read more

We requested an inground pool and spa. Everything was fine until we wanted to make a couple of changes prior to the start of construction. For reference, the plans and design had not been visited in about 6months when we went into contract. The owner tried to overcharge us for the changes, not once, but 3x all the way to the point of settling up to cancel the contract. He showed so much arrogance throughout the dispute, he refused to listen to the facts we were stating, and just kept saying we owed him money. Finally after getting his more level headed son involved, we were able to cancel the contract and he actually owed us money back from the original deposit. I'm so glad we dodged that bullet of having to work with him on such a big and expensive project. read more

We had mark and his team remodel our pool just recently and it turned out soooo great!! They did tile, pebble tech plaster, new waterfall feature, water filter and pump. The whole process was great, we loved working with mark, he gave us great advice but he also let us make the choices! We were a little worried doing the pool end of May that we would miss swimming time but it was done super fast! We now have them servicing our pool and couldn't be happier! We would recommend Chamber Pools again and again! read more

Mixed review on this company. I was selling my home and needed a status report on the condition of the pool in order to pass it on to the buyer. It took longer than I thought it should, the receptionist even said that the workman is a little slow, and the final report was too brief but it did suffice. The cleanup of the pool was very good and they did remove the diving board which was an add on, so that was good too. But the original reason for my business, the report, was lacking and therefore my review. read more

We had an outstanding experience with the restoration of our 1961 pool with Chambers Pools. Mark, Ryan & their crews were so knowledgeable, professional & reliable. Definitely do NOT recommend. Unless you like being scammed, yelled at, and generally treated very poorly. We signed up for cleaning service for our pool 3 weeks ago - for an initial cleaning (that we were told would take at least 3 weeks) and then monthly service after that. On the very first day out, Mark began trying to pressure sell us into a bigger filter. The one we have is less than a year old and 3x bigger than what is required for our pool. Despite this and despite us saying that we weren't interested, Mark called us 5 times across 2 days pressuring us to buy this even larger system for $1000. When we told him no after the last time, he then called back less than an hour later. He had magically "just" came into possession of a used filter in the exact same model he had been attempting to get us to buy and could get it to us for half the cost. I'll trust you to follow the same logic on whether or not the "new" one we supposedly needed would have actually been new. We again said no and he said we would have to replace the cartridge for our filter then. We agreed to this and the filter was replaced without an estimate ever being provided to us. When we got the bill they had charged us 120% markup on the cartridge. We asked for a cost breakdown and were not provided one. Instead we were told that it was markup, removal and installation. Bear in mind that to replace a cartridge filter, you need only remove the top, pull-up and out to remove the old one, and drop the new one in - like replacing a coffee filter in the morning. It takes less than 10 min - so this definitely wasn't labor charge. When we got the reply to the cost breakdown request, we told Chambers we were canceling our service with them. At this point, they had been out 3 times across 2 weeks - twice for the cleaning and once for the cartridge install. We were then told we would need to pay the cleaning service charge, the cartridge charge, and the monthly service charge - an excess of $600. On top of all of this, the communication between the family who runs this business is extremely poor and confusing. As an example - one time where we were told via text to run our filter for 4 hours. Then, the next (and last time they came out) we were called and yelled at for only running it for 4 hours. I wish I was joking. I have never been treated so outrageously as this company has and would never recommend them to anyone. **Edit in response to Chambers reply below to add that most of his reply is either untrue or very skewed. Anyone looking for more information should check other reviews here, Next Door, and other review places. This company has almost nothing but bad reviews and people with similar experiences. read more

I met Chambers Pool when I started my new job in Napa. Mark and I had a meeting to discuss the properties pool and equipment needs. After working with Chambers for the last 6 months, I have confidence in the service, commitment to excellence and their ability to repair anything. I have had multiple items repaired from spa equipment, pool equipment, gates, deck seals etc. I know Chambers takes pride in their work and provides excellent service. I highly recommend them for commercial or personal pool service. In addition, their bid process and billing practices are flawless. It is nice to have a company that meets all my expectations. I called several pool places in town to ask about checking out a possible problem and setting up weekly services. Some companies never called me back at all, one called a few days later and told me they could come out in 2 weeks, but Mark called me back right away and showed up promptly. Mark and his son were super nice and seemed very knowledgeable. My husband and I appreciated them both and actually liked chatting with them. Within minutes, they'd tested the water and told us exactly what needed to be done to get it right. My husband ran to the store and bought what was needed, then Mark showed us how to add it and make sure everything was good. We planned to set up weekly service with them (which was actually cheaper than 2 other places who finally called me back). We were looking forward to having them take care of our pool, but then we got hit with several financial hardships all within a couple days, and we decided we couldn't afford the service right now. When I told Mark, he was very nice about it and didn't make me feel guilty for canceling. A couple days later, Mark called to make sure the pool still looked good. I asked him to advise me on how to turn off the heat (because the temp was rising so high during that heatwave). Instead of telling me over the phone, Mark came right over and showed me how to do it. He also noticed something wasn't running correctly with the filter, so he checked it all out and fixed the problem quickly. Mark never charged me for that visit, and I really appreciated that he genuinely wanted to help me. When things settle down for us, we will definitely hire Chambers to service our pool. read more

Mark and his crew are very knowledgeable and honest. Our pool used to be green and the pump wasn't working. Mark walked me through and recommended what needs to be done to not only get the pool back to being crystal clear but also have it remain that way. He is easy to reach over the phone or through email and consistently follow ups with you with status of the work or if he encountered any problem etc. The most that I like about Mark and his company is that whenever a problem occur he sees to it that he will make it right. He is very hands on with his company and don't cut corners. One can see the passion he has with what he does. We are truly happy with the results and the service that we get from them. Threw a dart at the list of pool service companies because we needed help with an issue with our backyard spalshpad. Ryan came out and was beyond helpful. He helped clean and check both the filter and the pump, and when he determined those were not to blame for the poor flow to the splashpad he conceded that the likely culprit was not his area of expertise. But he did not just leave it at that and abandon us to find yet another blind grab at repair service. He gave several recommendations and went to great lengths to put us in touch with someone who could help us correct the issue with the spalshpad. Definitely a welcome surprise these days when most companies won't even return your calls. I would recommend Chambers 10/10. read more

I called and left a message with the shop and with in 5 minutes the owner returned my call and was on the way to my home with his crew to solve the issue.
