Keep reading this if you're looking for maintenance, episodic service's, or maybe even an inspection... Like others I was spending money on a different company/guy to do full maintenance on the pool. Eventually, the amount of money I was spending did not equate to the value of the product delivered. So I tried to do it myself. And boy, it's not easy. The pool guy made my levels so inaccurate that I would've had to drain my pool and start over. He was putting more and more chemicals just to mask episodic things disappear quickly. Never looking at the long term. Well, I quickly found that instead of doing something with my family or other projects I was maintaining my pool. So, I gave in and called Mr. Bobby. We were having the toughest time with our pool and not only did Bobby take the time out of his already full day of scheduled appointments to swing by, he quickly gave us a date when he could come back to perform the work. We have used Bobby's pool service for several repairs over the past five years. They have replaced our main pool pump, and repaired our spa twice. Recently Bobby came out because I had issues with both the spa overheating and my pool pump had stopped working. He made two separate trips to our house in late evening troubleshooting both issues. He did full research and was able to determine the reasons causing our problems and correct them without jumping the gun and replacing parts that did not need to be replaced. His attention to details and willingness to go the extra steps to ensure he's doing the right thing ended up saving us close to $1K by not having to replace a complete control unit. I do not know what happened with this company in the past 12 months or so. Or at least that is when I noticed something was wrong. Last year my pool was green half of the summer and full of sediment. They could nofigure why. Then the guy was incedibly rude. The only reason I did not change the service was because it is very hard to find pool services in Vacaville. I must have called like 7 numbers and they dont call back. When my pool turned green again this year, my wife found a new guy. Then I call today for two things, one to cancel and second to ask why I owed two month if the bank told me that Aquarius had cashed the checks for the previous two months. Then he went over like hurt cheated spouse saying something like "thank you for not calling at the beginning of June to cancel the service, we had to find out when we saw the other pool guy in your backyard..." All that while my pool is green, and he wonders why I am cancelling. Then he said in a very rude way, "you can keep the months that you owe me". As if he didnt cash both checks already, and probably cash the check that the bank sent out today as well for the month of June since I have it on autopay and cant cancel it. Never again. WOW, just one day after the new pool guy and my pool is clear again. What a difference the right pool guy makes. read more

If you are looking for a pool guy, Bobby is defintley the person to call! He knows what he is doing and helps in whatever way he can. My dad bought a new pump for our above ground pool and a few days later it stopped working. My dad thought he had blown the motor and was ready to give up. I looked around and found Bobby through yelp. He was the cheapest in price for a service call and was the only one who could come that day, what great service! Bobby came a few hours later and took a look at the pump. My dad didnt have it hooked up right so he put the missing piece on. It still didnt work so he took apart the pump to look at the impeller, which turned out to be broke. He then called around to get a part, which he couldnt find, so he recommended I go back to where I got it to use the warranty. After all that, I asked him what I owed him and he said nothing! Of course I had to pay him but that just shows you what kinda guy he is. Dont bother with the rest of the pool guys on here, just call Bobby. Great experience. We recently bought a home with a hot tub and had no clue how to care for it. After a few months of troubleshooting, we decided to just call a professional to give us the step-by-step tutorial for keeping the spa clean/safe to use. I am really glad that I called Aquarius. Bobby quickly returned my phone call and was responsive in setting an appointment to do the work. He was able to replace the light fixture without draining the water. Several other companies that I spoke with required the water to be drained. Bobby's pricing was very reasonable. I was also pleased with how courteous and professional he was. While at the house, he also took the time to check to make sure that the rest of the pool equipment was operating correctly.
