We walked in and the receptionist who was very friendly welcomed us. Then we were called back to the couples room. The older man who led us back didn't speak any English. He just pointed which we figured out meant enter the room. We got our massages and my massage guy I felt knew what he was doing as everything he did was symmetrical and he even asked me to let him know if the pressure was too much. I felt this is so important. It was my first time having a male massage me but he did great. Now the older guy who didn't speak English was my hubbys masseuse and my hubby said he told him the pressure was too much and yet still didn't change. He said it felt like the masseuse was just doing random things and he actually said he felt worse after the massage which is something no paying customer should ever experience. The rooms are clean and spacious. They have very affordable packages. I just wish they would ask customers their preference prior to and ask about the style of massage they would like ie deep tissue etc. Not sure if we will be back.

Great pressure in the right spots and focus on what I asked for. Options of regular or deep tissue, dry or oil, option for back walk and I think specific massages like head feet hands etc for the shorter time slots. There's a shower available if you need to rinse off after massage or before Incase it's a hot day so your not gross. They also offer cupping which I did not have time to do but definitely will try next time. Yes it's tucked back in the business row and it's next to a shop, so sometimes you can hear music or loud talking and yea, they are busy and mostly do walk in, so that might throw off the "spa" vibe too. If you want an immersive isolated spa experience, probly not your spot. Simple drop in massage by talented staff, they did what they could to create a nice peaceful spot, door chimes, waterfalls, spa.music unscented but good smelling air. I will be going back after tough weeks at work. Definitely recommend for a massage, but not as a spa.

The masseuses did a good job, and must overlook this noise. It ruined my experience. So I asked her, does this go on all the time? She acted like she didn't understand. I was hoping to find a spa with some kind of water component, hot tub maybe? Well, 36 Oaks had it all. It had massage, facials, herbal baths and a hot tub and pool. Yahoo! The property was beautiful and peaceful. The massage and facial were soooo relaxing, it put me and my friend into the zone. I felt like I was in a trance with the massage, the background music, the scent of the oil, but the facial was magical as well. Afterwards, my friend went for the herbal bath, and I enjoyed their pool and hot tub. What a perfect day! There was a light breeze and the water was perfect for a warm day. Lovely!!

She stopped eating greeted me w little eye contact. Paying up front was unexpected. The massage was outstanding. The receptionist/massage therapist did such a great job. At one point she was holding onto to bars on the ceiling and walking on my back. Massage my back w her feet! Since my massage was being given by the receptionist... she stopped twice to give attention to new customers that came in. Believe it or not.... My annoyance about that was very short because of how relaxed I was from the massage. Her techniques were really good. Her pressure was on point. It's very unfortunate that this establishment uses ONE person to handle all tasks. It wasn't very busy so I can understand from a business perspective why minimal staffing is the approach. However, leaving your client mid massage to handle other tasks is unprofessional. I gave four stars because the massage was excellent! If I could give a second rating it would be one star for how hard this one employee has to work, alone to figure out how to get everything done.
