I was desperate for a massage due to random back pain one day. I chose this place figuring they accept walk ins. The receptionist was in mid chew of her lunch when I arrived. She stopped eating greeted me w little eye contact. Paying up front was unexpected. The massage was outstanding. The receptionist/massage therapist did such a great job. At one point she was holding onto to bars on the ceiling and walking on my back. Massage my back w her feet! Since my massage was being given by the receptionist... she stopped twice to give attention to new customers that came in. Believe it or not.... My annoyance about that was very short because of how relaxed I was from the massage. Her techniques were really good. Her pressure was on point. It's very unfortunate that this establishment uses ONE person to handle all tasks. It wasn't very busy so I can understand from a business perspective why minimal staffing is the approach. However, leaving your client mid massage to handle other tasks is unprofessional. I gave four stars because the massage was excellent! If I could give a second rating it would be one star for how hard this one employee has to work, alone to figure out how to get everything done. read more

Called and got a same day appointment for the time I requested. They have a cash discount and very affordable rates. I have been a massage therapist for 14 years so it's fair to say I have a pretty good gauge on a decent massage. Vivian's 90 minute massage included hot stones, hot towels, deep tissue, stretching, and techniques using ashiatsu bars. The past week has been hectic and I was getting ready to get off work and wanted a quick massage. I looked on Yelp to see who was even open and this place had pretty good reviews so I figured why not. When I got there the lady didn't speak really good English but we figured it out and I paid for a $60/60 minute massage, if paying by cash otherwise it would have been $65. I got in the room and there was just a towel so I wasn't for sure if I was supposed to get fully naked or what as most places have a full sheet. I decided to keep my undergarments on and hopped on the bed face down like she instructed with my mask on. I had hoped I could take it off but when I asked she shook her head no. When she came in she said her name was Vivian which made me happy as that was one of the names all over the Yelp reviews for providing good massages. She unsnapped my bra and tossed it over to the side and started going to work. It took me a few minutes to get my breathing under control with the mask on and just having that little hole in the table for air. Once I was able to relax it was all good. I liked that she knew when and where to apply pressure. She was gentle on my arms and legs as typically I will leave and have bruises in those areas. She worked my shoulders and back to perfection. When I flipped over she started rubbing my head and OMG it was my favorite part. I may be a little weird but I used to pay this guy who cut my hair extra to just wash and rub my hair for 15 minutes. It is so relaxing to me and Vivian reminded me of that. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I felt there should have been more time spent on my feet. She probably only spent 3 minutes total on my feet. Overall I needed and enjoyed my massage and will most likely go back after a stressful day at work since they are right down the street. read more

Called ahead to make an appt for a one hour foot massage. Hubs and I get massages regularly, first time trying this place. We arrived a few minutes early, confirmed our appt "60 minute foot massage" and then immediately told "we don't do 60 minutes so you can do 30 minutes or full body". Why would they make an appointment for a service they don't offer? I normally would have walked out, but it was my husbands birthday and I just wanted to enjoy a massage with him. A 30 minute foot massage is $40. That's really high for Solano County. Our normal place is $35 for an hour. She asked us to pay before the service. Omg. Again, trying to go with the flow for husbands bday. I paid and gave a 20% tip up front. Husband normally tips 50% because we appreciate how physically hard massage is for the therapist but being asked to pay up front felt odd. Another thing that should have been stated at appointment time or at least in writing at the establishment. It just felt random. Anyway, we get started and the water is burning hot. Burning. Neither of us could keep our feet in it. Ask to cool it down and they bring room temp water but not enough to change the temperature so we just dip our feet and ask to have water removed. The person that did my husbands feet did not wear gloves. The person who did my feet did wear gloves. They were way too big for her and she had to constantly stop to pull them down. They made a crunching noise every time she rubbed my foot- it felt awkward and sounded annoying. I've probably had 200 foot massages in my life and every one of them was basically a full body massage with clothes on. Head, face, neck, arms, back, legs and feet. Not this one. From the knees down only and you sit up the whole time. No reclining. The only reason I gave any stars at all is because the actual massage was excellent. It was truly reflexology. The pressure was perfect. She really did a good job. She was also very nice, never snotty or rude. Apparently the cooling of the water was included in the 30 minutes because we were back in our car 35 minutes after arriving, including paying and water prep. I've been getting massages for 40 years and prefer Asian, because they really get to all my problem shoulder/upper back knots. Amy was great, with all the massages I've had, she had some new very effective techniques. Was thorough and relaxing. Could have stayed and taken a nap afterwards. If you are looking for a spa or metaphysical type place, not for you. But if you want a superb massage that covers all your sore muscles, then stop on by. I used to love this place until today!!! Me , my parents, husband , sister and cousins come here atleast once a month. Today my mom came in and was going to pay 60$ for 60 minutes plus a small tip. She didn't have anymore but something is better than nothing. And who ever helped her told my mom that wasn't enough of a tip that my mom should get a 40 minute massage for $40 to give her more of a tip. Wtf!!! My mom grabbed her money and left. Now you lost 7 plus customers a month!!! Which sucks because now we all have to look for another massage place . So unprofessional and so upsetting!!!!! They should be embarrassed. I called to talk to the owner and the lady that answered wanted me to go in to talk to her I said No I just wanted to let the owner know that that was so unprofessional. I was not disappointed! I was lucky enough to get Vivian. I got a 90-minute massage and it was one of the best massages I have ever had! She took her time and worked the strokes/pressure and oh boy the hot stones! Dare I say the hot stone work was on par with a good resort massage?! It was not rushed rubbing the stones over body like some of the smaller spots do, she strategically placed them while working pressure/strokes on other parts of the body. Between the hot stones and gentle but deep stretching, I felt brand new once she was done with me. LOL I'm so happy I I found this spot and will definitely be back. This place is awesome, well worth the money. Plus it's not even expensive for what you get. Very impressed with service and value. Usually when they say an hour they include the time they spend prepping. Not here I was in there at least an hr and 15 minutes. While I waited for my foot massage I got a head massage. Plus they still did 30 minutes on my feet. The back massage was awesome. Not to much pressure but not weak at all either. I did hear someone next to me ask for more pressure and they got it. They left happy too. The owner walked in at the end while I was getting my feet worked on and offered me water. Very friendly. The massage was awesome; however, I wish he would have rubbed my legs and feet more. Next time I'm going to get the $55 massage which includes the 60 min full body and 30 min foot rub. I also wished that my blanket/towel was a bit longer. I got cold on a few occasions and he kept having to readjust my cover. I really like how he used hot stones at one point in my massage because it wasn't expected. I wish Yelp can give no stars. My parents have been going to this place a few times already and they loved it. But this time my mom asked for a 30 minute massage and apparently the guy heard 60 minutes. My dad asked the guy that my mom's massage was suppose to be 30 minutes. Then the guy rudely talked to me dad saying "SHE SAID 60 MINUTES!" I was like WTF!? So when the massage was over my dad just paid the 60 minutes massage and gave the guy $2 tip. As we were walking out, he said "Wait, the tip should be $5!" We were shocked when asked for more tips. So my dad gave him $5 and my dad said "Wow! We are not coming here again!" Then the guy said "Okay!" He shouldn't be asking for more tips. He should be grateful that he even got tips. Oh and their was this lady that got done before my mom but got a 25 minute massage.
