I was referred to Hanifa by a friend and her husband. I reached out via text on a Saturday and asked if she were available on Sunday. She scheduled with me within and hour for the next day. When I walked in she was waiting right at the door, welcomed me with a warm genuine smile and introduced herself. She then guided me into the massage room which is a very cozy, intimate space. We chatted for a minute and she stepped out so I could prepare for the massage. The table was so warm! I do not recall everything having a massage where the bed was warm, all the way down to the feet. She asked for my hot spots and I pointed out my shoulders and feet. The massage began and before I knew it I was dozing off and having random dreams. Her pressure is to your preference and she asked you to let her know when she needs to adjust. I decided to let her do her thing to see what her normal pressure is like. I knew I was super tense in the shoulder so while it was a bit uncomfortable I went with it because I knew my body needed it. She was extremely soft and gentle on my feet. I would have preferred more pressure but I didn't say anything because again, I wanted to see her normal. This is not a complaint at all because now I know what to ask for when I go back next month. It felt like she went well over an hour, that's how good the massage was. It was so good that I thought if it is over an hours, I am so ok with paying difference. She plays soothing music that pulls you to sleep. I suggest relaxing your body and let your mind follow the movement of her hands. You will be asleep in no time. I definitley will be back next month. My visit to Healing Hands was several months ago. I booked online on the Healing Hands website and was contacted by Hanifa later that night. She let me know that someone else had the slot for the time I wanted and suggested a later time. I guess her website doesn't update accordingly. Upon arrival it was pretty confusing as to where the entrance is because the location is in an office building. It's upstairs, but the doors that led into the reception area and the hallway were locked. It was dark inside and no one was there. Hm. I called twice Hanifa but no answer. I walked up and down the stairs, around the building looking around. I came early for my appointment but it was starting to cut into my session. I think I wasted around 10-15 minutes trying to figure out how to get in the building. Finally, Hanifa called me back and I went back upstairs where she unlocked the door. Huh. So she was inside the building the entire time. The massage itself was great and relaxing; she was able to get the knots out of my shoulders and the tension all over my body. At the end of the session she even showed me stretches to do to help with my shoulder pain. However, because I wasn't able to get a hold of her and I wasted 15 minutes trying to find a way to get in, the session was cut short. I'm disappointed by the lack of professionality and that it was cut short because she didn't answer her phone to let me in the building. read more

I've been dealing with awful pain in my right shoulder blade. I couldn't sleep from the pain so I requested a myofascial release massage at midnight and got a response very early the next morning. Upon arriving Hanifa asked if I needed attention to anywhere in particular in which I told her about my shoulder blade. She was able to release and incredible about of tension from that entire area and in my other painful spots within just an hour. She even gave me cupping on my upper back in that time. I was able to sleep restfully that night thanks to Hanifa at Healing Hands. It almost brings me to tears thinking about how much relief I feel already. Couldn't recommend more! And I can honestly say this was the best massage I have ever had. I had a 90 minute prenatal massage today and it was just what I needed. The technique and pressure she used was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about prenatal massages. I have had many therapists who are almost too scared to massage a pregnant woman and therefore do not use much pressure but this was perfect.
