Today I came in and got a prenatal massage with Kimberly. She is tiny but she has a lot of power. She does her best to make sure you're comfortable and she asks your comfort and pressure level as she's massaging. She has a quirky personality but she is very caring and sweet. I've been wanting to book an appointment here for a while and have been putting it off until recently. I booked one online less than 2 days in advance, and you pay online. It also prompts you to add a tip, but I skipped that since I prefer tipping in cash. I booked an appointment with Kimberly C. for a 90 min enhanced therapeutic massage and she was great! Upon entering, I was greeted by the friendly receptionist, and she offered me water and asked if I needed to use the restroom before. In front of the desk was a table with whiteboards that welcome their clients of the day! Such a nice touch. Kimberly was very friendly and she made sure to cover my hair since I forgot to bring a hair tie. She asked me what areas I wanted to be worked on. I wasn't asked on how much pressure I wanted for the massage and I should have clarified in the beginning. She worked on my tight shoulders and shoulder blade areas, although I should have asked her to use more pressure since it was too light. I did have a lot of tension which will require more sessions. After the massage Kimberly advised me to drink lots of water after and she offered me a cup of water before I left. Since I booked for an enhanced therapeutic massage, I chose the option for a foot and back scrub, and I paid $7 extra for a peppermint oil scalp massage. The total was $127. The foot and back scrub was a quick scrub/rub down with a sugar scrub, and the scalp massage was short, maybe around 2-3 minutes. Not sure if it was worth the extra $17, if I come back I'll opt for a 90 min regular massage ($110) without any add-ons. read more

I was excited to come here for the first time. The reviews are very high and it's very close to my home. I called and scheduled a Valentines couples massage. When we arrived, the couples room was not available (ugh) and we were set up in separate rooms. Kinda defeats the "couples massage" concept. For the inconvenience, we were offered additional services for free. I chose the foot scrub. We were brought into the rooms, very comfortable and warm. My therapist seemed to be very new to the industry and almost scared to touch me. The massage wasn't bad, it just felt almost awkward. Like she wasn't comfortable and that made me feel a little uneasy. The foot scrub was a light application on the bottoms of my feet. It was applied so lightly that I couldn't tell if it was a salt scrub or lotion. With all of that said, the facilities were very nice and clean and everyone there, from Donovan on the phone that took my appointment, to the ladies when we arrived, were very friendly and professional. Man oh man, that was a good massage. I would definitely go back to her. After our massage, I asked my hubby how'd his massage went. He said, "What massage? It's like I didn't even get one." Ooof. My hubby said that his massage therapist did use his elbows to hit the pressure points on his back, but no real massage. I could also hear him ask my hubby if the pressure was okay every 5 mins. I called to schedule and the owner answered the phone super nice guy. When I arrived he was also the person at the front desk. Kinda cool seeing the owners be so hands on. The environment was nice and relaxing. The room was big. Alyssa was awesome! I just don't think a prenatal massage is anywhere close to a regular massage but it was good for what it was. I recently finished a review of Twin Flame Spa and commented on Josh Vazquez, however he did the spa for my mother, Tenisha was the therapist that did my massage and I wanted also to make a recommendation for someone who wasn't looking for specialized service but just wanted a massage to release tension. Well she did just that, I have had ALOT of massages but I was very impressed with her skills, she was able to find my tension spots and release the tight muscles. Masseuse on drugs! We came in for a couples massage this past weekend. Our initial greeting and welcome from Josh was pleasant. He assisted with check in, paperwork and advised we were a few minutes early. We decided to take a short stroll and came back right on time. This is where we met the other masseuse. She was under the influence of a hard narcotic. This was clear from her manic and jittery behavior and rapid/rambling speech. We were ushered back to the room but she then told us the leave as she stated they were not ready. We were asked to leave the room. Once allowed back in we began the massage. No huge complaint about the techniques used, mostly pleasant. But the relaxing atmosphere was ruined by the constant rambling speech. read more

This spa is also a pick up spot for Wish orders. They are usually good at processing and being available to pick up. I have tried now 4 times to pick up my order without success. I stopped in and was told to come back after 2pm, then when I did I was told no one could help me. I called on several occasions and I was told to come at a certain time, which I did, but no one was there again. I text the number as indicated on their signs on the door, no response. I've left messages as well. No response. WOW!! What horrible service and lack of communication. If being a pick up spot is no longer working out, then maybe that service shouldn't be offered. It's a small business tucked away in a really unassuming plaza. The front door does not face the street so look out for their business sign! It's a few doors down from Hop Hings. I've been making it a point to give myself more self care so I've been trying out a few different massage places. My family recently gifted me a gift certificate for Twin Flame, and I used it to purchase their massage bundle special. Six 60 min massages for $420?! Not bad! I love the fact that you can book appointments, pay for services, etc all online. I've used two of my massages so far, with no hiccups. At the end of the service, they provide a cup of water and I leave feeling like a new woman! I had a massage from two different people each time I went, and there's a huge difference in technique. If one person isn't for you, maybe try a different person the next time, as this can really make a difference with how satisfied you feel after your massage. The beds have warmers but sometimes you have to ask for it to be turned on if they don't do it for you automatically. Not gonna lie, on my last visit I was FREEZING for some reason. I run hot so this was weird for me. My arms ended up being ice cold but my masseuse never asked me about it so I ended up having to ask her to turn the warmer on. She didn't mind of course but it was just odd that she didn't ask, so bed side manner will vary per person for sure. Once I warmed up, this made my massage much more enjoyable because nobody wants to be ice cold during the process. They have a ton of different services and add ins so check out their website to see what interests you! Went in to have a knot on my shoulder worked out, my massage therapist was Tiffany. She was AMAZING! This was my first time at twin flame and definitely won't be my last. They were able to get me in quickly and I left feeling SO much better than when I went in. It was my first time here and they did not disappoint. Front desk was professional, personable, I was offered water and I was seen right on time. I booked a 60min massage plus back and foot scrub and it was amaaaaazing. I felt like I was getting a massage and stretch in. It was so relaxing that I wanted to stay and take a nap when it was over. After nearly three years since our first couple massage at Twin Flame Spa, my husband and I returned for another amazing and much-needed couples massage. The initial booking was very easy. I emailed Elane, the owner of Twin Flame Spa, on Yelp and we were luckily able to set something up right before my surgery. So I'm very grateful for the availability and ease of booking! Both of the masseuses were wonderful! Alyssa was my masseuse and I didn't catch the other lady's name that did my husband's massage. They were both very friendly and made sure that we were OK & that the pressure was to our liking throughout the massage. They also asked us if there were any areas we wanted to have them focus on before they started, which was also very nice since I'm almost always tense in my neck and upper back region. Overall, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our couples massage! We both felt extremely relaxed after our massage! Four people recommended Twin Flame Spa amongst a few other places but when I Yelp Messaged each location, Twin Spa won me over with their prompt replies and great price. Not only that, but they were able to accommodate me the next day! Christy M. was my massage therapist and she was amazing! Let me tell you, I had no idea what I was getting myself into but all I knew was that my body hurt from the extra weight from the pregnancy. The room was clean, the music was relaxing, and the atmosphere was calming - let me talk about that massage table though... they had a warmer on the table so it felt amazing!!! Oh my, I felt like the most amazing beached whale after my hour massage! And each pressure point on my body was equally focused on. Christy got my shoulders, lower back, and hips... well needed because I'm a side sleeper. The arms, legs, and (especially) the feet was amazing as well. I was greeted warmly upon arrival, offered water, and asked if I needed to use the restroom before starting the massage. Facility was very clean from what I noticed. Things were neatly organized. As I walked out of the restroom, Kat approached me and introduced herself. She asked what I was hoping to achieve or what areas she should focus on and I can definitely say she executed very well! My shoulder and neck area had been tight and she was cautious not to apply too much pressure due to a recent injury. I walked out feeling brand new. Wow!!! I had the most amazing massage experience ever here. I was gifted a gift card from my son I was surprised when I saw that it was for Twin Flames because he had no idea I already come to the facility for facial services with Liz. My massage therapist was Selene. I have had many massages in the past but this is the first time I have ever left a facility relaxed with no tension in my back or shoulders and ready for a nap!! Soon as you walk into the facility it feels serene and peaceful. The place is clean and there is soft music playing and a relaxing scent is throughout the building. Awkward and disappointing massage. I typically do not leave reviews like this, however, I would hate for someone to spend the money and have a similar experience as I had. First impressions: front desk was courteous, ambiance was wonderful and they even had a welcome sign for me. I thought that was a nice touch. I was offered water before my massage, again, it's the small things. Massage: I booked a 60 minute fire and Ice massage, mainly because the description said deep tissue and it was specific for pain. I have a 15 month old who won't let me put him down and the amount of tightness and pain on my upper back and shoulders is unreal (if you know, you know!) I was sure to tell him that I really needed a "a deep deep pressure" for the massage. The massage therapist was kind and respectful, however, he seemed to be extremely uncomfortable (my guess is because I'm a woman?) Here is the thing, I left without a real massage! He used his elbow to hit pressure points along my spine, he rubbed the icy hot on my back and set up the red light. He used his forearm to apply pressure along my arms and legs, he wiped off the lotion with a warm towel. He rubbed lotion on my arms and my legs, he did rub my upper neck here for about 3-5 minutes. I kept thinking "this is it, my deep tissue massage is coming" until the 60 minutes were up. He was very awkward with the sheets. This part was the awkward part, and kind of comical. He was so uncomfortable at this point, though, that I started to feel uncomfortable. The sheet was placed down over my head once I laid on my back, then pulled down and was up to my lips for a bit. I think because he was not looking? I've had lots of massages (not here) and have never experienced anything like this Of the fire and Ice massage is not intended to be a deep tissue massage, maybe a new description is due.
