An amazing, AMAZING message therapist! I can't recommend her enough. I came in with tight shoulders and a tight lower back and she was able to relax those muscles with very knowledgable methods. Her techniques are what separates her from other massages I've had as she she's able to locate knots and find ways to untie them. I'm more than pleased with my visit, plus she gave me some tips on how I can relieve some tension with lower back stretches. TIP: her location is a little hard to find because she's located in a building with other suites. But if you go up either staircase there is an office in the middle in which a receptionist will happily let you through the door and let her know that you're there for your massage. Everything about my experience today was amazing! Hanifa greeted me at the entrance, walked me to her relaxing room and the massage was amazing. The ambiance of the room was perfect. Nice and dark, relaxing music and nice light smell from the diffuser. The massage table was nice and warm too. Perfect this cold day. Today I had my first prenatal massage. I've had regular massages by other massage therapists before, but Hanifa is hands down the best I have ever experienced. She found knots I didn't even know I had and worked out my super tight neck/shoulder. My neck/shoulder have been so tight for years and no massage therapist has ever made it as loose as Hanifa did today. I will definitely drive all the way from SF to see her again. I plan on seeing her throughout my pregnancy because she read my body so well and knew exactly where I needed more attention and the pressure was perfect. I am an out of towner, did a search and choice Healing Hands. I am glad I did. The only negative is literally arriving at the Suite. My recommendation, call when you arrive. This isn't your typical space, but none the less nothing is missing. My back and shoulders were so tight. I am not sleeping on my normal mattress and I could feel the tension building. Knowing my history I had get it loosed up. I did a deep tissue. I am normally sore the next day from the lactic acid breakdown and yes I'm sore. One sign of a good massage for me is its working the following days. Next, the pressure. I choose deep tissue and that is what I got. She read my muscles and their tightness perfectly. I almost don't want to write this review because I don't want her to start getting all the way booked to the point where I won't be able to get a same day appointment in the future... but I have to say, this is the only place I've gotten a massage at that I actually enjoyed... so much so that I have rebooked with her and have gone back. She does such an amazing job and I felt very comfortable and relaxed. The only way I can think to describe her technique is that it is like she was playing rhythmic music on my body with her hands. First let me say that I really needed someone to pay my upper back, shoulders and neck some attention and I was so happy that she could see me on such a short notice. She seem very passionate about her work and want her clients to leave feeling relaxed. This place isn't very easy to find. The address itself is not the problem but the unit is hard to find. I wish I would have known that I needed to go upstairs and to the right. After I couldn't find the place I called and was met at the door with no problem. Not sure what kind of oil she used. During the massage it smelled very light but once I left I could smell it more and my husband pointed it out to me. It is not the most pleasant smell so I would recommend showering afterwards. Lastly and the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. The Swedish 60 minute massage is $70 but only on your first visit. After that it is $80. I am a strong believer in, you get what you pay for. I believe that her work is worth $80 but it would be nice to know before hand that the price goes up for returning customers. With that being said I am still planning to return because I was well taken care of and she was very understanding. read more

I'm so glad I came in to see Hanifa!! I woke up with some shoulder and neck pain that got so much worse even with pain meds and hot compresses. I went on good ol Yelp and there was the sign Healing Hands!! I messaged for an appointment and told her what was wrong and she worked so quickly with me and got me in the afternoon after work. When I got to the building you have to ring the bell outside for the receptionist to let you in. And then they will call Hanifa to let her know you are there. The room is clean and peaceful nice music and relaxing waterfall. Here is where it gets good! Omg Hanifa's hands are so magical! She definitely worked on the knots I had buried in my neck and shoulders. It hurt so good! I have gone to a few different massage places but Hanifa has been the best. I booked a Saturday (yesterday) appointment on a Thursday and was able to get in for a myofascial massage with Hanifa. I was pleased to have been able to snag the appointment as I'd looked at a couple other places who didn't have appointments until a week or two out. I won't be looking anywhere else for a massage anymore! Hanifa was AMAZING. I get a lot of headaches and also have jaw pain/TMJ. I had never tried myofascial before but it was recommended to me by a friend for my pain. Hanifa was great about explaining the myofascial massage and told me she would do my whole body so I feel balanced, with focus on my problem areas. Myofascial massage is essentially deep tissue massage with pressure point therapy to relieve pain. Hanifa truly does have "healing hands!" She knew exactly what to do and was great about checking with me to make sure the pressure was comfortable. The pressure was DEEP and Hanifa knew exactly where to work on my body. I was soo relaxed on her heated massage bed, relaxing music playing, and her magic hands fluttering across me like divine butterflies! I actually caught myself drooling at one point. HAH. I'm not sure what oil she used, but it smelled so deliciously earthy and made my skin so soft. I felt nearly immediate relief and today my muscles are feeling much looser-- especially in my neck and shoulder area where a lot of the focus was. The location is great! A discreet entryway in a charming older building in downtown Suisun. The inside was dim, comfortable, clean, and had a relaxing ambiance. I love those old buildings near the waterfront! So quaint. I am so glad I booked here! Hanifa really has a special touch. I received the Swedish massage and it was just what I needed relaxing and firm where needed. When I have had other massages I am unable to relax because the massages become painful after a while. Also I have some sort of issue with my right arm going numb even after a massage( while sleeping) BUT NOT AFTER THIS VISIT . I WILL BE BOOKING AGAIN! I feel like I need this every 2 weeks.
