When I put in a request for quoted work around the area I got a lot of responses. But what stood out from Clean Wave Pools is that they didn't sugar coat anything or beat around the bush. They were upfront with us on what it would take to get the pool from green to crystal clear. It always helps when a company quotes you something close to what the work may come out to. When I first spoke to their receptionist/scheduler she was so nice and understanding. I explained how this company my parents had been using kept giving them different solutions to fix the green pool. Spent well over $1000 to have the pool look the same. I got fed up. So many companies take advantage of the elderly so I ended up getting quotes from yelp. Luke spoke to me and set up a time and day to check it out and give a quote for free. I loved that he was true to his word and helped my parents out. Every visit they sent myself and my parents an email of the breakdown of work that was done. We ended up using this company because of how professional they were. They knew what they were talking about. Well within 3 weeks the pool went from green to crystal clear. Luke even explained the speed or the pump was incorrect which the company Aqualink installed the unit and told my parents they needed to upgrade it. Screw that, my tech savvy self connected to the unit and got it back up and running and updated the speed to the pump as suggested by Luke. My parents are so happy they can use their pool again. Isaiah, the owner, was extremely responsive to my texts, showed up on time, and did a very thorough inspection of our pool and equipment. What really impressed me was how knowledgeable he is. We have a saltwater pool with solar heating, and he clearly understands the technical side of pool systems, chemical balancing, equipment, and common maintenance issues. He took the time to answer a ton of technical questions and actually knew the answers rather than giving me generic responses. He also reprogrammed our system to optimize the filter speeds and improve the efficiency of our solar heating. His pricing is reasonable, and because he's an owner-operator, you know who is actually going to show up and service your pool. That matters to me. With some of our previous companies, the service started out great but became inconsistent over time or depended on which employee came out that week. With Clean Blue, Isaiah is the person doing the work, and it's obvious he takes pride in it. He handles routine pool service and chemical balancing and can also take care of maintenance and equipment issues when they come up. I contacted the subcontractor who installed it and he responded to fix. Within a week, it was leaking again. I contacted the installer again but he ghosted me. I eventually got Tony out to repair it. I was hopeful but a little skeptical bc Tony wasn't familiar with this system but he researched it, and then fixed it! Then recently, we were having a problem with the spa. Tony's crew had also changed out a spa valve earlier this year. That valve was working fine and I felt the issue we were having was operator error but we couldn't figure it out. Nick at Professional Pool Service (PPS) is the man!!! My…read morepool pump stopped working. I tried to trouble shoot it myself but had no luck. My first call was to PPS, they've always treated me fair, went above and beyond, and displayed nothing but integrity. Nick showed up and within a couple of minutes found the problem. The breakers within the timer box had tripped. I had completely forgotten about those switches. Instead of making me feel stupid Nick waived the service fee and made sure my pump and heater were working well before he left. I can't tell you how much I appreciate having an honest company like Professional Pool Service and guys like Nick that I can always rely on. I won't use any other service!
