Isaiah, the owner, was extremely responsive to my texts, showed up on time, and did a very thorough inspection of our pool and equipment. What really impressed me was how knowledgeable he is. We have a saltwater pool with solar heating, and he clearly understands the technical side of pool systems, chemical balancing, equipment, and common maintenance issues. He took the time to answer a ton of technical questions and actually knew the answers rather than giving me generic responses. He also reprogrammed our system to optimize the filter speeds and improve the efficiency of our solar heating. His pricing is reasonable, and because he's an owner-operator, you know who is actually going to show up and service your pool. That matters to me. With some of our previous companies, the service started out great but became inconsistent over time or depended on which employee came out that week. With Clean Blue, Isaiah is the person doing the work, and it's obvious he takes pride in it. He handles routine pool service and chemical balancing and can also take care of maintenance and equipment issues when they come up. When I put in a request for quoted work around the area I got a lot of responses. But what stood out from Clean Wave Pools is that they didn't sugar coat anything or beat around the bush. They were upfront with us on what it would take to get the pool from green to crystal clear. It always helps when a company quotes you something close to what the work may come out to. When I first spoke to their receptionist/scheduler she was so nice and understanding. I explained how this company my parents had been using kept giving them different solutions to fix the green pool. Spent well over $1000 to have the pool look the same. I got fed up. So many companies take advantage of the elderly so I ended up getting quotes from yelp. Luke spoke to me and set up a time and day to check it out and give a quote for free. I loved that he was true to his word and helped my parents out. Every visit they sent myself and my parents an email of the breakdown of work that was done. We ended up using this company because of how professional they were. They knew what they were talking about. Well within 3 weeks the pool went from green to crystal clear. Luke even explained the speed or the pump was incorrect which the company Aqualink installed the unit and told my parents they needed to upgrade it. Screw that, my tech savvy self connected to the unit and got it back up and running and updated the speed to the pump as suggested by Luke. My parents are so happy they can use their pool again. He came out and replaced a pool pump for me. Suggested that I purchase it myself to save money. Showed up on time to swap out the old pump for the new and did it thoroughly and professionally. He also gave me some free advice on how to keep my pool in check chemically as opposed to automatically suggesting that he does it (his services). I imagine he does a fantastic job. I called Greg from A bit Moe's Pool because my pool pump was making a noise and sounded like the…read morebearings were going out. I didn't expect to hear back as it was the weekend. Greg called me shortly after and said he would have time on Sunday which was the next day. He showed up and took a look at my pump and trouble shot and figured out there was a lizard in my pump. From the beginning he didn't seem convinced that something was wrong with my pump. He even tuned up and tested and got my pool to where it needed to be chemical wise. The thing that really stood out to me about Greg is how I genuinely felt like he was trying to help or look out for me not sell me something. That's rare now a days. This guy is one of the good ones.
