Okay so I owe this company a review because they really came through for fixing my parents pool. The owner Luke was so kind to us. When I put in a request for quoted work around the area I got a lot of responses. But what stood out from Clean Wave Pools is that they didn't sugar coat anything or beat around the bush. They were upfront with us on what it would take to get the pool from green to crystal clear. It always helps when a company quotes you something close to what the work may come out to. When I first spoke to their receptionist/scheduler she was so nice and understanding. I explained how this company my parents had been using kept giving them different solutions to fix the green pool. Spent well over $1000 to have the pool look the same. I got fed up. So many companies take advantage of the elderly so I ended up getting quotes from yelp. Luke spoke to me and set up a time and day to check it out and give a quote for free. I loved that he was true to his word and helped my parents out. Every visit they sent myself and my parents an email of the breakdown of work that was done. We ended up using this company because of how professional they were. They knew what they were talking about. Well within 3 weeks the pool went from green to crystal clear. Luke even explained the speed or the pump was incorrect which the company Aqualink installed the unit and told my parents they needed to upgrade it. Screw that, my tech savvy self connected to the unit and got it back up and running and updated the speed to the pump as suggested by Luke. My parents are so happy they can use their pool again. I had Clean Wave come out and give me a consultation. I'm new to the pool world and the pool guy that was taking care of my pool was not super helpful when I had questions. I had a great consultation with the tech who explained a lot about my pool, the services they offer and what they recommend. I'm fairly mechanically savvy and I clean my own pool so he didn't try to over sell me, just chemical service. That honesty went a long way with me and I hired them on the spot for a great price. They come weekly, I get an email with the stats of my chemicals and my pool is always crystal clear. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY DO NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICE YOU PAY FOR. TOTAL RIP OFF. Our pool had initial service today at Premium package level. We have on camera the service person was in our yard at 9:00 am and was packing up his truck at 9:20 am. In addition to the chemicals added, the report indicated the pool was: *Skimmed and raked *Brushed *Hose off I have attached pictures showing our pool brush was not used as it is still hanging detached from the pole and dry. Tiles still showing dirt debri. Clean out was not emptied. This is a poor first impression. I requested immediate termination of the contract. read more

I started my service and things seemed fine. I think the company might not know how to properly maintain a saltwater pool. I was told my filter was cleaned this past February but kept having algae. I told them it might be the filters and they told me it had just been cleaned 4 months ago. I attached pictures of the filters with all the algae when I cleaned them for you all to see. When I told them about the algae a few weeks ago they told me my salt cell had an error code. Which is weird because they did a service on my salt cell in April and they charged me about $50, and I was already experiencing some issues because on my bill I was being charged the extra for the chlorine being low. If the service was being done right, they would have noticed the salt cell needed a service, not that I needed to notify them of the issue. Not sure what all they said they did but all my levels were out of whack when I bought the products and tested my pool. My eyes would burn while swimming while under their care, as soon as I dropped the stabilizer, shocked the pool, cleaned the filters, and am currently maintaining my own pool I have been able to open my eyes without any issues under water (no burning). Also, they would send me a bill of what was being put into the pool, but I came home the day after they put in chemicals and there was no chlorine in the pool. They will respond to my thread about how it's somehow my fault and they did everything within the obligations of our contract, but I have pictures of each day I would send them pictures with algae still in the pool with no resolution. They wanted me to use a company they recommended to fix the salt cell issue which took me 30 seconds to fix. Do your homework when hiring people and make sure they know what they're doing. For $250-$300 a month I shouldn't be having algae in my pool or my jacuzzi. read more

We have used at least 3-4 local pool service companies in our area that have all been terrible. Clean Wave was a bit higher price than the others however you truly do get what you pay for with them. They show up when they tell you they will and they send a report from your service of each visit. We highly recommend them. read more

I see what the reason was for and it's either because I don't post enough reviews and I'm not important my review don't count or I'm being called a liar and posting a fake review !!!! Plus, they give you a heads up so you don't have surprises with extras along the way, like salt adds in my pool which isn't cheap when it needs to be done and knowing the bill is coming really helps the budget. I was leaving town for 6 weeks and usually take care of my pool myself. I hired Clean Wave Pools. I talked with Luke (I believe is the boss.) Explained I would hire them for three months, and would be home for the first month to see how they do for (full service) $200 a month plus chemicals. I wasn't impressed but satisfied that first month. When we returned (they knew we were coming) it was the day before their show up day. Chlorine was so high off the charts it was un-swimable and we had to head straight for the shower and couldn't go in the pool again for several days of testing. The PH, (most important) tested bright red and off the charts with my tester. Keep in mind that they knew we would be home that day. In fact, I had emailed them to turn on the solar a week early and the response was "if it's straight forward" they would do it. It was two valves that I even pointed out and they are a "POOL SERVICE!!" They didn't do it. When we left, their pool guy had left his brush for brushing pool on the cool deck next to the pool and it was still there six weeks later. Bottom of the pool was dirty. Needed brushing. I paid them $632 dollars for two months and 20 days. read more

Fantastic company with a fantastic staff. I am a new pool owner and have much to learn...and many questions to ask. Every single employee, as well as the owner, are incredibly responsive, professional, knowledgeable, patient and friendly. My service is weekly and I receive weekly comprehensive reports regarding chemical levels, if chemicals were added and all functions performed that day. These reports allow you to easily reconcile your monthly statement. They also offer different levels of service so you can get just what you need. I highly recommend. Thought I'd do it on my own. I just recently had a inground pool built it's been up and running for about a month and a half my start up guy has been taking care of the pool and I trusted that because he is the Professional needless to say Not so professional!!
