I really wanted to like the drinks here but they seem really inconsistent. I got the Firewood Oolong milk tea since that sounded unique and there were other good reviews on the drink but it was super watered down for me. I had gotten less ice and less sweet and it tasted like water. My partner had gotten the Taiwan No.3 milk tea and that was way better than my drink. We had some of the best bubble tea here than we've had in a long while. The boba was nice and soft and the flavors were tasty. We asked for less sweet drinks and less ice and we got exactly that, which isn't always the case. Additionally, the staff working there was helpful. The Oreo milkshake is taste kind of water down the mango drink is very icy. The calamari taste not fresh and smells kind of fishy. The fries were really good. The popcorn chicken could use a little more flavor, but that could be my fault because they did have seizing in the front. I just didn't put any on. You have to order everything from the kiosk and buy card only they don't really have anybody to assist you because they're really busy. The place is pretty small really nice but it can get crowded pretty quick. They seemed excited about their offerings. I ordered the grape ice tea with 100% sugar and 100% ice cause I like it cold and sweet. It did not disappoint. The chunks of grapes and aloe were proportionately correct for the amount of iced tea. It was so refreshing and tasty. The first time I went in there, I was surprised to be greeted right away even ordering through kiosk, which was scary at first because no other boba shops ever done that lol. Customer service was great 5/5, the lady in front was really nice and thorough with answering our questions and recs. Once you mix it, it has a nice texture slushy. And there are lychee fruit bits in it! Really refreshing for a hot day. A Yelp Elite friend and I visited Chachago for their Yelp Elite Event for a free drink of our choice. I ordered the Thai Tea, which had the Chachago symbol next to it, indicating it is a signature and popular drink. The ordering system is a digital screen interface, which we didn't get to use because we were ordering a complimentary drink. We simply told the barista the code for the drink we wanted and they made it for us quickly. We asked if we could specify our sugar/ice preferences and we did -- they do those in 25% increments, which is pretty typical. Staff was perfectly friendly and communication was good. The size of the drink is good for the price. The drink was good, not fantastic, but it is also something I don't tend to order at boba shops. If I were to go back, I'd try my typical Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea and see how that stacks up against my favorite boba shops. The store itself is small, with a table or two standing room only, so best for grab and go. Since its location is central to Fremont and the Hub, it would be an easy stop when running errands. It sounds like they have an online interface for ordering which would make such a drive by stop an easy thing to do on the go. read more
