Hand dyer for months I see it when I use toilet they just don't care. The fact that the left is far dirtier than right- ewww nuff said.

Not too much of a wait typically. Hit and miss based on worker friendliness. Facility newer, but still "Indian style dirty" slick floors and germs everywhere like on hand dryer and door knob but they are oblivious or more likely don't care.

It's hard to find pani puri and I found it. Wish it came with yogurt and pomegranate to add on. Got to try the chikoo shake which has sapota and coconut and milk. Was very refreshing. Lots of seats and service was friendly and quick. Will be back to try the other offerings

If you are a jalebi fan, well they serve the decent one. Though I am no jalebi critic, and the jalebis aren't served hot but they taste crisp, juicy and yum. We initially order 8, and after trying them we ordered another pack of 16. It is hard to get good Amritsari kulcha in USA and the one they serve needs to be enjoyed with their homely curries. We visited them after a hike, so we were pretty hungry. All the food we ordered was good especially the papdi chaat. People who are regulars at their Bellevue location might find the prices up by a dollar or two at this place. Well that explains less crowd during the rush hour. If that is ok, the food is pretty much the same. They do have a couple of tables for outdoor sitting near the parking lot. Must order: papdi chaat, kulcha thali, jalebi Though we also like other dishes but these are my favorites.

I love this place for their lunch thalis. Not sure how many times I have been to this place for lunch. Thali comes with chapati, rice, daal, paneer curry, salad and a dessert. Portion - more than enough for a person for sure. They are almost consistent with their taste and options. They have dosa, parathas and chaats as well. Tried a few dosas and chaats already. Chaats were really good and dosas were decent. Tried the veggie burger once - that wasn't really great. They take phone orders, even if that's a thali order. They pack everything well, so no spills. Done that a few times and quite about that. Service is always good. That place can be really crowded for lunch and dinner. Expect waiting for tables and delays in getting your food when that happens.

Have come here many a times after watching movies at Lynwood AMC. The restaurant is in a complex with other good eats and offices. Ample of parking space that fill up quickly on the weekends. Came here on a weekday and the place was filling up. Service is good, does take a long wait during rush hours. We ordered their:- Special thali with aloo kulcha:- It comes with 3 curries, curd, salad, rice, dessert and a choosing of your bread, We had aloo kulcha. The aloo Kulcha was awesome, one of the slices was undercooked dough. Paneer Parantha:- When we first ordered this item it was a big serving now the price is same but the quantity reduced. Tastes good with achaar and butter Paneer Chili:- Just order this. Its almost like the ones you get in India. Just Yum. Veg Manchurian:- One of the best Manchurians we have ever had. Samosa Chaat:- It was good. Raj Kachori:- Skip it. Dahi Poori:- It was ok ok. You can skip it. Not that good of a taste. Samosa Pav:- Do not order this item. The samosa is good but the pav is a sweet bun that you get in American grocery stores. The taste together just not good. Paneer dosa:- It came with sambhar, coconut chutney. Chole Bhatura:- This ones a hit or a miss. The bhatura on the top was fluffy, rest below doughy like a bread. Tasted good. Bread vada:- Not the exact name. But not that good. Kalakand:- Tasted awful Gulab Jamum:- $2/piece damn. But Yum, could have at least warmed the piece. Overall, near authentic Indian food. Stay away from the chaat section. The only item best for your buck is the thali. If you are a party of 2 ordering 2 items each, you will easily near $50-55$. The items are overly priced.

We'll probably be back as this place is conveniently located for us, the prices are decent, the flavors are strong, and the menu is diverse. Dining area could be cleaner, food could be hotter, presentation could be better, service maybe hit or miss, but hey flavor is my most important criteria and the food tastes pretty good so whatever. The Annapurna Thali won't be consistent because they switch up what they include daily so it's difficult to recommend this item because while it was good for me it won't necessarily have the same composition for others. For me, they brought the flavor and used a very heavy hand with spices and chilis so, not for the faint of heart maybe but I enjoyed it. The food was a little lukewarm and I would've preferred it hotter but it still tasted good. We had a samosa as well which was spicy and hit the spot! Simple, straightforward, and exactly what I wanted. 10% discount for using cash was a bonus.

I was soooooo excited to try this Indian vegetarian place! Until I showed up and learned the only vegan thing they could make me was a paratha (Indian flatbread) stuffed with cauliflower and potato (no yogurt). I was seriously shocked that a 100% vegetarian place would have only ONE vegan option. I realise most Hindu and Sikh vegetarians still consume dairy, but I can't believe literally every thali option had dairy in it. I really loved the paratha and it gave me the impression that the food here is good, but given how many vegetarians are vegans these days, and how super-easy it is to cook things like channa masala and aloo gobhi WITHOUT dairy, I'm just so disappointed this place only has one vegan option. Their clientele seems to be predominantly people with an Indian background working in the local tech-heavy area. It's a sterile, fast-foodish kind of place. Lots of seating but only maybe 30% filled at lunchtime. Service was nice and polite. If they had vegan options, I'd seriously go like 2-3x a week. As it is, I can't rate a vegetarian place higher than 2 stars if they only have ONE vegan offering :(

We tried the chikoo shake and the Dahi Puri both were terrible. Has to finish it as we paid for it. Who screws a Dahi Puri ? You should use a thin sev who uses a thick sev. The stuffing inside the Puri's is not good as well. Not a place to visit. Service was also not that great.

The food was warm and tasty, just as they should. I wish there was more of samosa in samosa chaat, otherwise pani puri and dahi puri were a good quantity for the prices on the menu. Overall the ambience was ok and there was a good flow of people coming in. They have an ample amount of parking since it's in a plaza. The customer service is ok ok and the 4 stars are for the food but nothing else

I just had one of the best experiences at Chaat House. The food here is good. It's a great place to get a quick bite of indian food. I got the aloo paratha, papdi chaat, and gobi manchurian. I enjoyed all three of the items definitely recommended. If you haven't stopped by go check it out. Plenty of seating and wonderful service. read more

I'm so fortunate to live down the street from Chaat House. Their food is good for my soul! I always get the Anapurna Thali, and I'm always more than satisfied. If you need a quick bite and some excellent, AUTHENTIC Indian food, then you know where to go. Fresh, Fast, Finest Indian Food for miles. And yes, the mango lassi's are out of this world! read more

I've been at least a couple of times in the last few weeks and ordered take out as well and feel comfortable recommending this place. This place is always clean. The service style is more of a cafe style where you order upfront, and when your food is ready, you go grab it, and then when you're done, you bus your own spot. The front staff are very nice and polite folk. They're very helpful too when ordering and I'd be comfortable with their recommendations. The place is clean. The food doesn't take too long to appear. Everything tastes good. I've tried their thalis, puri, roti, paratha, dosa and cauliflower Manchurin. The food is really good and tastes fresh. Each item has a distinct taste as opposed to every tasting like 'curry masala'. Overall, a good place and the price and portions are right. read more

I ordered 20 samosas for a party. The samosas were delicious and everyone at the party couldn't stop talking about good good they were. I wanted to say i made them lol but i told them it was from the Chaat house in bothell, I'm excited to try them again tomorrow for other dishes! read more

Food is alright. But this place needs some cleaning. The payment iPad screen is so dirty to touch. When they are asking customer to touch something , they are supposed to clean those areas once in a while. Even the chairs have oil on them. They also need more people at the orders area, there is only one person there and he works in a haphazard way. I wonder how clean the kitchen would be, if this is how they are keeping customer facing areas. read more

I have no idea why there are so many negative reviews! The food here was DELICIOUS. The samosa chaat especially was incredible, as well as the masala dosa and pani puri. The pani was very good, my only criticism is that it could be a little bit more spicy. Some of the best chaat I've had in the Seattle area! read more

If I could have given zero stars I would have definitely done that. The people working in the kitchen did not wear any gloves while making the food. I literally saw a person dipped his finger tasted the food and did not even wash the hand. The person who was serving our food coughed on his hands and immediately took another plate to serve instead of washing the hands. This is COVID 19 for gods sake, when asked about the situation the person in front said they are not wearing a mask or gloves because it's very busy. My question to the owners are is this how you are protecting customers? The food might be tasty but sorry not the germs. read more

A truly refreshing example of vegetarian Indian food. Traditional cooking here, not the heavy, fatty, one note dishes typical of many Indian restaurants in the US. I've tried the Thali a couple of times and love all the flavors. It's a huge meal for $12. The space is very clean and bright and the service was super friendly. Overall a very relaxing, delicious and healthy lunch read more

Don't go there in the evening - they use the same hot oil in the pan all day that makes your fried items like puri etc smell and taste like burnt oil by evening. If you don't mind the burnt oil smelling food, the service is fairly friendly. Good veggie options if you are ok with burnt oil tasting food. read more

----Jun 2019 Went back with friends, the place was not crowded but the staff seemed overwhelmed. The kitchen seemed disorganized and parts of our order (the dish I ordered) were forgotten. After a 15 minute wait, I informed the management of the items missing on our order and they were apologetic. 15 minutes later and I was still waiting. My companions had finished their food and were waiting for my order to arrive. It finally did, we were served a couple of jalebi's in apology. That callous kind of apology was more irritating than the unprofessional attitude and service with which they addressed my order. read more

Had a wonderful meal here Friday night. The place was packed but ordering and getting food was smooth and quick. We had no idea what to order as we are chaat newbies but, the cashier was so nice and explained everything with recommendations. Very rude and disrespectful. Horrible customer service and average food. I have been a long time customer. It is close to home so convenient take out option. I called them for a pick up order today. Asked for dal instead of paneer curry along with the thali. Something that is already made. They just have to put daal in a container instead of paneer curry for my order. This is how the conversation went: Me: can you give me dal instead of paneer curry with my thali? Chaat house: we are very busy madam. We have 20 thali orders here. Cannot manage changes. Me: that's ok. give me paneer curry. Chaat house: we have kadhi. Me: fine. Give me that. Chaat house: ugh! just remind me when you come to pick up. Me: ok. Do you have Dal kachori? Chaat house: ugh! what? We don't have dal kachori. Who told you we have that. Do you see it anywhere on our menu? Me: it was posted on Facebook group that dal kachori is now available at Bothell Chaat house. Chaat house: ugh. no madam. We are very busy. What do you want? Me: nothing.cancel my order. I am never calling this place again. There are plenty other Indian restaurants close by. read more

Went there today close to lunch time. My order took 20 minutes to prepare and the place was not busy whatsoever. Not only that without it being busy they completely got my order wrong. I don't even know what I ended up getting it was just a mix of different things when all I ordered was one aloo parantha. This alone would not make me write a review, but rather that whatever I did get was absolutely disgusting. I am Indian and lived in India for 5 years and have been eating Indian food my whole life. I wasn't expecting anything out of this world when coming here, but what I got wasn't even recognizable to me as any Indian food I've ever had and was not stomachable. Save your money and time and go anywhere else. read more

My friend and I arrived shortly after opening and I had my heart set on a thali. I was told that they weren't ready yet, and had to figure out something else quickly-- difficult since the menu items didn't have any descriptions and I had to Google just about everything. I settled on the samosa chaat, and my vegan friend had to ask for a list of the ingredients, since the staff wasn't familiar with the term. The food was pretty meh, the ordering process was frustrating, the atmosphere is really institutional-feeling, and the real kicker is the use of styrofoam and plastic! Totally unsustainable. This place could be decent if they lowered their environmental footprint, livened the atmosphere up, and had their food ready on time. read more

I usually visit the Bellevue location and like the Chaat there. This review is for Bothell location. We ordered dosa, daal makhni and naan. I liked the dosa and the sambar was surprisingly good. The daal makhni was average - it was mild for our taste. Naan was soft and tasty. Overall 4 star for food. We were also late on Sunday evening so the food was slow - I didn't mind it because it was fresh. Definitely a pit stop for us if we are in this neighborhood. read more

Always fresh and clean. Love this place. Fast service for a fresh healthy meal. Masala is not over powering and tastes just right just like in India. Their Annapurna Thali which includes 2 curries, sweet and kulcha is real value for your money. Kulfi is awesome. read more

I ordered the dhuy puri, which was not worth the $7 I paid for it. I judge a restaurant by their dhuy puri when they have it because it's pretty standard and hard to mess up. This was a plate flooded with dhuy and 6 puris. Nothing inside those puris except the dhuy!!! No Chana, no potato, no onion, and like a few sprinkle of sea randomly floating around the dhuy!!! I will say the dhuy tastes good, but I was very disappointed. read more

They have turned around their game. Tried the haka noodles, gobi manchurian and the veg 65 biryani which were all excellent with just the right taste. Food looked and tasted freshly made. The Mysore bonda was a little too chewy and the only sore point. Overall a solid 4, at least for the Indo-Chinese and biryani. read more

Was missing the green sauce that usually comes with and could have been packed to stay a bit crispier (holes in the box). - Chicken wings (4/5) - This ended up being the best thing we got albeit they were just buffalo wings Portion sizes were relatively small compared to the same price I would have paid at other restaurants.

Otherwise we paid around $117 (without tip), for five dishes and two appetizers, which I think is pretty good for this area.

They are increasing the prices of their chaat items every 6 to 8 months without added the quality or quantity. The justification given by the owner is the grocery items went up so to run the business they have to increase the prices.. This is not acceptable and unprofessional. Small most popular chat items like Rajchachori, Paapdi Chaat prices were $7.49 (until last month) to $7.99.. No wonder if it goes beyond & 8.50 in next few months... The owner was rude and declined to take my order this evening.. They are looting the customers and it's unacceptable.. This needs to be called out in all communities.. read more

Ok food, but nothing special. We got a Papdi Chaat, Dahi Bhale Chaat and some of their methai (sweets). They charged double of what methai costs in other stores, but it was good. The bhales in the Dahi Bhale weren't fresh at all! Hard, cold and stale. The Papdi Chaat was good, but should have had more onions and potatoes, maybe throw in some tomatoes as well. Definitely wouldn't go again. You can find better chaats at Apna Bazaar, 2 miles down near Thrasher's Corner, or Chaat 'N Roll down at Alderwood Mall. read more
