i finally try their passion tango drink recommended by my friend who is a regular of this store, the drink was super refreshing and delicious. The Korean coin cake cheese pulling was pretty fun to eat. As soon as I walked in the first thing I noticed was the store of being super dusty and I was coughing nonstop. They need at least 10 air purifiers in there. Seriously what kind of boba shop is this? Please if you guys still need customer fix it soon. Experience 0/10 read more

Excellent service. She asked if I had the less sweetness and I said no, my SIL did, she offered to remake it or taste it to see if I wanted to make changes. I tasted and I really liked it. It has a stronger coffee like taste and the flavor is good. I would definitely order classic milk boba tea again. Plus, I want to come back for the Korean bingsoo. Very convenient location to HMart and Daiso. Plenty of seating and cute decor for pics. read more

TL:DR - Expansive menu with surpassingly good drinks. Flan milk tea is real used with real flan broken up in the tea. The tea is perfectly balanced with milk and tea with an added hint of caramelized brown sugar to really give the drink some body. Menu is massive, but I wouldn't mind stopping in to try it out. Close to hmart for a post shopping treat. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- This place is a low-key sleeper in terms of boba spots. Having recently moved here this was never a spot locals had recommended as THE boba spot to go, but a craving for bubble tea after shopping at hmart, we decided to come in and it DID NOT disappoint. We've been here twice getting the flan milk tea with boba the first time and brown sugar matcha the second time. Both times the boba has been perfectly chewy. The milk tea itself the first time was perfectly balanced in terms of milk to tea and even had a nice caramel/coffee/coco hint to it which made it extra satisfying. The flan was rather crumbly as if they literally just stuck a flan pudding in there and kind of broke it up with a straw rather than your typical scoops of pudding in there. The matcha tea was good. I would have wished that the matcha would have been mixed in a little better, it was a bit grainy. The only other thing of note is that the menu is EXPANSIVE. Like they do banh mi, waffles, bubble tea, vietnamese desserts. Places like this typically scare me as they don't ever seem to do one thing well, and if they do, it's usually not the bubble tea. But this place is good and its location is convenient. I will be back for a post shopping snack. read more

I was craving Thai tea and Cha Tea was next to the restaurant we are dinner at. Even though they did not have Thai tea, they had Pistachio tea which was amazing! They also have fresh sugar cane juice. I didn't try it but I'm sure it's amazing. The ambiance it's okay. Nothing special but fine for a small local cafe. read more

My favorite places to review are boba places since I love boba. I always see this place calling my name when I shop at H-Mart. I finally took the plunge on my lunch break one day. Ironically, it was not after a trip to H-Mart. Although Cha Tea has many options on the menu, I still opted to try the classic milk tea. I can tell if I will like the boba shop based on whether or not I like their milk tea. Unfortunately, the milk tea missed the mark for me. I appreciate that I could customize the order, specifically with sweetness. However, I feel like the drink lacked tea flavor despite it being darker than most milk teas I drink. Additionally, the drink had an overall taste similar to to other boba establishments in the area so it doesn't stand out or distinguishes itself in anyway. There was something that was off for me but I can't really put my finger on what it is exactly. The boba texture was alright. I did appreciate the that the boba pearls were chewy but they were a bit overcooked or soaking in the simple syrup too long. Overall, I can say that I have had better. I recognize that I didn't try any of their popular drinks so maybe they're not known for their milk tea. The establishment was clean and socially distanced friendly. The staff was nice and my drink was made quickly. This place personally isn't my cup of tea but I'm sure they will do fine because other people have spoke about this place positively. read more

This hit the SPOT! Weve been battling some really high temps here in the Valley and after work, your thirst quench kicks in for a NICE delicious BOBA drink. Being that I had to do some grocery shopping next door and parking lot is filled with "CHA Tea" advertising - it was no doubt my next stop to get a nice fruity frozen drink with some delicious Boba or jelly. Their are definitely practicing social distance, place is nice and clean, very spacious for customers to keep their distance from one another. Staff were super friendly! Some places I go - its a struggle for people to smile these days and not be uptight! But, every single one of the staff were really nice and helpful! They had some fresh lychee - I asked for a lychee smoothie with lychee jelly and it hit the spot on these hot, dreadful days! I also purchased their in-house custard caramel which was perfect delight for the drive home! Great place to stop by after you have done your grocery shopping or maybe even before, so you dont do hunger shopping! hahaha read more

Great New Treat and Drink Shop! Well here we are for the grand opening week of a great new tea, boba, drink shop in Mesa. The Lemongrass Orange Peach Tea is super great! It was refreshing and quite awesome. It really hit the spot! I recommend this only if you like delicious drinks. The Vietnamese coffee was just right with good sweetness and strong coffee taste! I like it! Lots of other treats to try here on future trips that I am certain will be equally tasty! They also have smoothies, Expresso and other drinks and boba. Really spacious interior for sure! Nice tile floors and nicely decorated shop. Friendly staff greet you and take good care of you. Stop by and give Vanna the super friendly owner your business! read more

Review date: 2/4/2021 I got the Milk tea with boba Sweetness: 0 percent Cost: $5 First impression, you can see thru the window into the kitchen and see the jars of flavor powders, so you know any exotic or fruity flavors are gonna be crap. The boba was stale, you know the kind where its hard/dry with no chew in the middle but super soft on the outside. The flavor was pretty meh, very slight taste of milk, no taste of tea. I never realized this place was actually here. Super impressed on how this place is clean & how the employees greeted customers. Very friendly & the price is legit. Had the Thai tea boba and I'm truly impressed on how good it is! Tropical breeze was also a hit! Boba places are normally kinda boring & not many people would hang out, but this place is a cool place with good music! I'll definitely recommend & I will return ! read more

Friendly staff are happy to customize your drink for take-out. B liked the sweet Passion Tango (hold the mango). It's a colorful and fruity. Black tea with boba for me. Boba is perfectly cooked. I ordered less-sweet, but with the brown-sugar boba it was still a little sweet, so I'd order my drink with no sweetener next time. Lots of tasty-sounding options on the menu. Prices are reasonable. Worth checking out. read more

I've only had cha tea once, but I didn't love it. I think they use nondairy in their milk tea, and I prefer dairy, but I'm not 100% on that. Their milk tea is on the sweet side. It wasn't bad, but with all the boba options around, this wouldn't be my first choice. read more

The first time I had the Thai Royal I was hooked. Most recent time we won't hear the person helping me recommended I try their snow ice which was amazing by the way. For a large size boba tea it's 50 cents extra and to add Nova is also 50 cents extra, so the total price is more expensive as compared to other boba tea places (total is over 5 bucks for a large boba tea). Boba is soft and the milk tea is different from other places! It has more of a cocoa taste to it and it's not as sweet so if that's what you prefer then this is your place. For its innovative milk tea flavor the price is justified because I don't think vast majority of boba places offer that. read more

Came in at around 2:15pm on a Thursday, and the place was pretty much empty. I'm not sure if it was because of the day and time or because there are two boba shops across the street in the Mekong plaza, but it felt weird walking in. I ordered the Honey Jasmine Milk Tea and my sister got the Thai Royal drink. The Honey Jasmine Milk Tea tasted really sweet to me. I feel as though there was too much honey but I think that's because I prefer things slightly bitter. My sister thought it tasted fine but she loves sweet things. I really liked the Royal Thai drink. It is made with a coconut milk/cream base and filled with assorted jellies and fruits (i.e. grass jelly, jackfruit). It reminds me of the typical Vietnamese desserts I would eat as a kid and had a more gentle sweet flavor. Overall, I appreciate the dessert inspired/unique flavors that they had on the menu. It's a shame that they're in direct competiti on with the shops in Mekong but I think that as a stand-alone, it's a good boba place. Definitely recommend it to anyone willing to give the place a try! I didn't know about it but they were having a buy one get one free sale so that was nice. Price came out to be $5.95. I asked the owner and it seems that they'll be having it for another day or so. read more

My favorite boba tea place in the valley. The menu is expansive and has something for everyone. They offer many levels of sweetness level which I myself appreciate because I cannot stand drinking something pure sugar. What is unique is that they offer menu options that use fresh taro not the typical artificial taro BS served at most other boba places. In addition to boba drinks, they also cater to Vietnamese folks by serving many different flavors of sugar cane beverages (a favorite among vietnamese). Aside from beverages, they also offer a limited number of atypical Asian desserts such as flan. Of course they offer the popular dessert options you can expect to find at similar businesses such as shaved ice desserts, ice cream, custom waffles, etc. They consistently host anime and other popularized Asian commodity related events too. I must admit, sometimes the music inside is kind of obnoxiously loud but I admit maybe I'm just old and grumpy. Others seem to not mind. Not many tables inside or outside so don't expect to come with a large group and hang out. read more

Every time I went to Hmart, I always make sure to stop by Cha Tea just for their lemongrass orange peach tea... it's a combination of tangy orange juice, peach tea and strong lemongrass flavor (with the actual peach fruit too). Mocha and Oreo from the "blended" section are really good as well! A few tips when come to Chatea: -ask for a dome lid when you order extra toppings other than bobas (if you what I mean) -you can actually CUSTOMIZE your drinks according to your preference. (I got the strawberry lychee green tea which is not on the menu, it's so good) -their Bathrooms are not open for public due to covid-19 read more

1st time trying this boba shop and I'm pretty impressed. Their menu of drinks is different and unique. We tried the Creme Brûlée milk and that was sooo delicious. Very creamy and not too sweet. The purple rice milk tea was pretty good as well but not as good. With their soft opening, they had buy one get one free which was awesome. The only con I see with this place is that they close at 7pm. We had to drink our bobas before we got dinner next door. People usually grab desserts afterwards so I wish they close later, especially on weekends. read more

I often will pop in here after an H-Mart trip- the menu is extensive and the flavors are pretty good, just not amazing in my opinion. It's really cool how they juice fresh sugar cane for their drinks, I am just not a fan of sugar cane juice. I got the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk and boba today and the matcha wasn't the best quality, so there wasn't really any flavor there and I wish they used just fresh strawberry purée instead of syrup, but it wasn't bad. The people are always really nice and helpful in there- had no problem double checking to see if their matcha powder had dairy in it. The music videos are cool to watch while waiting for your drink and there is seating both inside and outside. read more

New favorite tea spot now! Been here twice. First time we got Taro Milk Tea, Thai Royal and Purple Sticky Rice Milk Tea. Taro Milk Tea was excellent because I could tell it was from real taro from the little taro bits in the drink and not just plain powder like most places. Thai Royal (aka. Thai Dessert) was great, not too sweet. Purple Sticky Rice Milk Tea was interesting... the rice was hard but the the milk tea was good because of the rich taste. The second time we got: Passion Fruit Coconut Kumquat Tea (aka. Chanh Day Dua Tac). Don't know what exactly it was called, got got recommended by the cashier. It was excellent because of the fresh taste and coconut bits and passion fruit seeds. If you don't like chia seeds, then don't get it (LoL). Super tropical! Fresh Mango Tea was super fresh. I was surprised to see they used real chopped mango bits adding to the tea. Brilliant! Most places would literally just use green tea with added "mango flavored" syrup. Now, for people who think this place is overpriced. Try again! From all the fresh fruits and stuff that they use to add "values" into your tea cup is worth it! Unlike other places where, it would be just flavors, powder or syrup; this spot deserves a 5-star. read more

*3.5* tried the mango smoothie which supposedly is made from real fruit with boba. Boba - decent quality and texture. Not over cooked. good chewiness Mango smoothie - sweetness as is was fine. Did not really pick up the real fruitness of it, Might still have some powder quality to it. But also did not have artificially fakeness to it. They did have a BOGO offer which was awesome at the my time of purchase. Also tried the creme brulee milktea. Not a fan at all. Not a big fan of creme brulee in general Maybe try another milk tea flavor in the future. plenty of seating and space. Also clean. Today was my first time at Cha. It's amazing. I will go back and try more for sure. I got my "go-to" taro boba and the mango thing that on then window. I wanted boba amd was hoping for basil seeds.
