Walked in and I was never asked what type of massage I would like. I had to let them know I wanted a deep tissue massage. The lady that give me a massage seemed pissed off she was not nice. She started to give me a massage with one hand and seemed like she did not wanted to work. I politely asked, please I would like more pressure but she did not listen to me. The whole time she seemed to be mad and I felt like I wasted my money I would never go here again and would not recommend this place to anyone. What a waste of time and money. read more

Updated review: 4/7/16 I've returned to CH numerous times. Each time a different experience. Surprisingly, during one appointment the therapist literally hopped on the table and sat on my back! It was shocking to say the least. Today after a decent massage, I got ready to pay. The therapist was not the person to swipe my card, some other lady...I didn't get her name. After she looked at my receipt, to include the tip I was leaving, which was relatively significant, she didn't suggested "you need to leave more than 20%!" It has always been my understanding that a tip is an additional gratuity for the service based upon MY satisfaction of said service. After I asked for clarification, thinking I didn't understand her, she repeated the same thing. Just how rude! Sadly for the decent massages, the customer service has turned me away! read more

This place is a little weird. There are no private rooms with closed doors - just curtains that separate you from the next guest. So you and your masseuse find yourself whispering to each other, so you don't disturb the guests around you. I found it hard to relax. I will say my masseuse did a great job - and the hot stones were nice addition. If you're more concerned about getting a massage than about relaxing during said massage than this isn't a bad place to try. read more

I went for a basic Swedish massage, no deep tissue, but my massage was so deep tissue it took my breath away. I asked for him to lighten up and he did slightly at first but went right back to being rough. It was not a very relaxing experience when you are grimacing in pain. Also had to keep my mask on and keep my head down and felt like I was going to suffocate. During Covid is probably not the best time to go get a massage I'm realizing but now I know. Also, the person who did my massage was also working the front desk and answering phone calls. He tried to speak quietly but I could hear him get irritated if people could not understand him, which just threw off my efforts to relax. I felt tense. I read reviews before I came here so I tried to lower my expectations a bit in regards to the noise but this situation with the phone calls and the stop and starts were very blatantly inappropriate and unprofessional in my opinion. I would rather wait or reschedule an appointment than have this experience. Maybe give people a heads up that you have to run back and forth from the desk so that they can decide for themselves if it is worth it to them. read more

I am so happy I stumbled across this place. While driving through the shopping center, I saw the sign out front saying "Massage $45/1 hour." That being a pretty great deal, my aching shoulders convinced me to give it a try. The massage takes place in a semi-private room (curtains separating each massage table) so nearly everything is heard from people walking in to other employees talking. This however, wasn't a drawback for me. The staff is friendly and the facility is extremely clean. My massage table had a heat mat underneath the sheets which was a great feature, however, it admittedly got a little too warm after about 45 minutes. While I came in for the $45 deal, my masseuse, Mina, easily talked me into upgrading to the Deep Tissue for $60/60 minutes as she said the $45 Swedish would be to soft and "girly" for me. I asked her to focus on my shoulders and back which are always giving me problems. I get a lot of massages and I can affirm this was one of the best I have ever received at any price. Mina listened to my request and spent about 40 minutes just on my back and shoulders. The pressure was perfect as it was firm enough to work out my knots, but didn't make me squirm in discomfort. Mina took up the whole 60 minutes also working on my legs, arms and chest. I was so impressed, I tipped 25%, which is saying a lot as I am a cheap person and never tip more than required. CH is a hidden gem in Chantilly. Give it a try and make sure to ask for Mina. read more

It's convenient that you can book an appointment same day. I've had decent experience and not so pleasant - depends who you get. They do not inquire as to what type of massage you prefer. Perhaps due to a language barrier? Once I had a woman give me what I'm guessing was a thai massage? It wasn't bad but interesting- twisting me into different stretches etc. my latest experience I asked for deep tissue. It was the worst massage I've ever had. Rubbed my skin raw and moved at a very frenetic pace. I felt like she was angry and there seemed to be no technique involved. Just random digging and felt like I was being exfoliated. If you can find a tech you like then book that person rather than take your chances. Not sure I'll be going back. read more

I drive past this place 4-5 times a week and always thought "$60 for an hour... must be a pretty bad massage." Well I went in on an impulse finally and I am SO glad that I did! The place does have a bit of a weird setup with the curtains but if that doesn't bother you than you will get the best massage for your money you've ever had. I swear it was more than 60 min. Several times she would stop for a second and I'd think "ok, we're done... not bad" but she was just getting oil or moving to the other side. She did back, legs, chest, head and face. The only time I've had a better massage I was paying $160 for it. In the end I gave her over 30% tip because I felt like I was ripping them off! And if it wasn't cheap enough to start, they give you every 6th massage free! CH Massage just found a new loyal customer! read more

I woke up with a crick in my neck / shoulder and decided to try and find a place for a massage near my office during lunch. I came across CH Massage randomly as it was located in the shopping center where I was filling up my car with gas. When I saw the sign outside that said $45 for a 1 hour massage my interest was peaked. Very clean and friendly staff. massage was excellent. I ended up spending more then the $45 because i added time and then gave a $20 tip. Felt a little like I was up sold but I wouldn't have opted for the extra time had I not been throughly enjoying the massage. read more

My husband has been to this place before and was happy with the massage. So I decided to give them a try. It was the worst massage I have ever had. I am never going back. My husband also got a message today and he also admitted it was a pretty bad message. It was a complete waste of money. All she used were her forearms or elbows. Did not focus on the areas I pointed out. She would go over the bony parts of my back with her forearms which hurt! I asked her where to focus and how much pressure..nothing changed. I've been in this place many times and I always leave a happy person with no pain. My upper back and neck pain is too much that they are able to make that pain go away even for a while. I try to come back here every two weeks. I have experienced different massagers and all of them are great! The price is also reasonable! The place is only separated by curtains and there are only two private rooms, but it doesn't bother me as the massage and music that goes along with it is very soothing. This place is top-notch. I have never had anything less than a great massage here. In addition to normal stiffness and soreness from working out, I get terrible tension in my neck, shoulders, and between my shoulder blades. I usually work with Michelle, who knows my trouble areas and has a method of doing deep-tissue that is not torture (if you can imagine that!). I recommend hot rocks incorporated into your massage if you have tightness issues like me. Not only do they help melt away tension, they are very therapeutic on contact. Good price, but this wasn't relaxing. I felt pressure was way too hard, so if you're into strong deep tissue you might like it. I had elbows being dug into me despite only asking for a medium massage. At one point I jerked my leg away because of pressure being applied to my knee. The area is only semi private as well. Rather than separate rooms there are just curtains dividing the different areas so you can hear other customers and people coming in and out. Maybe it would be better in a less busy day. read more

I really liked my massage and the price. The massage was great right amount of pressure and enjoyed the hot stones.They were also able to do a same day appointment which is awesome. However I did not like that there wasn't private rooms(it's like a big space separated by curtains) could hear everything, even the doorbell every time someone went in or out including people snoring. CH Massage is a no-frills massage place at an affordable cost. The masseuses use strong pressure but can adjust to whatever you're comfortable with. I've always had a good experience with different masseuses and have yet to choose one specifically over another. They use hot stones and towels as well, which you definitely need to avoid being sore after how deep they massage you! If you're looking for atmosphere, this is not the place for you. You're literally separated from other clients by curtains, so you can hear others clearly even though you're separated. They also cover you with a small towel that isn't too soft. They do have a private room in the back you can ask for as well. It's totally worth it to do full body plus foot massage, and for the price, it's a wonderful massage! read more

Last massage was at Massage Envy was very traumatic & was in a major need for a massage. Read reviews of this place so thought I would try it out. Called & they were able to firms in right away. Very clean place. Not your traditional massage places w/individual rooms but didn't mind. They have individual sections divided by curtains. Jessica was my masseuse & she was GREAT!! Got a deep tissue & by far; one of the best massages I've had in a long time. She got all the knots out of every part of my sore body! I left relaxed & refreshed! I will definitely be back! I was hurting from a super intense kickboxing class and my shoulders have been super tense from work so I was in desperate need for a massage-not just *any* massage-one that was nice and deep and would get all my knots out and would leave me feeling like a blissful piece of jello. I chose to come here to get that massage and I was pleasantly surprised on how amazing my masseuse, Rose, was. I specifically told her I liked a lot of pressure and the target spots that I needed attention on. She completely delivered and also didn't waste time on spots that didn't need attention (which was what I was actually expecting because at that great price point, I was prepared for something to be amiss such as that). Rose was super attentive, effective and efficient, and is these qualities are probably why she can make only a 60 minute massage feel so incredible. Jennifer is the best! I went for an hour deep tissue massage and could not resist extending to 90mins. I have really tight shoulders from working a desk job and also from doing a lot of vinyasa yoga. Jennifer is very skilled at working out the muscle tension and knots. She actually climbed up on my back and used her knees. Kneed-less to say (haha) it was fantastic! The prices are very good too, $60 an hour for deep tissue is a very good price for massage. Definitely ask for Jennifer! The setting is a bit weird since I am used to solo rooms and no clothes, but it was also a nice change not having to worry about doing all of that too. $60 for a 60 minute table massage. I walked in with hip/glute pain from running and asked for spot treatment since I had an 11 mile race the next day. The older gentleman got my muscles from all angles and by the time he was done, I could get up and walk with no pain. I was able to complete my race with minimal discomfort. The customer service is phenomenal from every person that I have talked to during my 3 visits so far. Super nice, super friendly and very clean. Michelle has been my therapist and literally has provided the best massages that I have ever received. She is very attentive to problem areas and always provides just the right amount of pressure desired. This place is ultra professional and highly skilled. I try to get a massage at least twice a month and this is my new "go to" place. The rooms have curtained partitions instead of being private but it is always very quiet and I feel very comfortable. This was one of the worst experiences I've had ever with receiving massages. I am here visiting a friend from out of town and decided to give them a try. Horrible mistake. I was charged 65.00 dollars for a 58 minute message by a guy who admitted he didn't know pressure points and was unable to message me the way I requested. He also cheated me 2 minutes of my one hour massage time. I asked why was I being charged 65.00 dollars when the website said different. His response was unfortunately the owner changed the prices and they're working on the website. I asked for a receipt his response was they don't give them when paying cash. He also told me that I couldn't be hurting on the front of my leg smh. I left there still in pain in the same areas. They are full of scams and the young guy was very sarcastic. I heard the lady beside me getting a massage by Henry and she told him he was the best. I guess if you're planning to go there be sure they give you the price up front for what you're getting and also be sure to ask for Henry because according to the lady beside me receiving a massage by him was very pleased.
