Bought a Groupon and decided to give this place a shot. From the outside and even the dark hallway and dark rooms made it seem like it would just be a light oil rubdown, but it was anything but. This was a fantastic massage. The Groupon was for a 60 minute aromatherapy, hot stone massage with body scrub. However, a few minutes into the massage Linda was giving me, she asked if I wanted to extend it for an extra 30 minutes for $33. That was an easy question, of course I did. Linda was fantastic! She had excellent technique and was complete and thorough. I will be back and relatively soon as this place is a keeper and Linda is an excellent massage therapist. Highly recommend!! read more

I hate to leave such an awful review but I think people have a right to know to stay away from this massage therapist. Sunny did my massage. I got a 90 min deep tissue. There was no technique involved she used her fists and went up and down my back as fast as she could. You can see the imprint of her knuckles on my back. Then she slapped me multiple times all over my body including my neck. My bf was in another room getting a massage and he even heard her BEATING me, after that she scratched me on the sides of my head with her nails repeatedly (what kind of massage is this??) I did speak up multiple times during this telling her it hurt - she didn't do anything. It was my bf birthday and I was trying to put on a good face for him and just get through it. Two hours later I noticed all the bruising on my back this is when I called then and sent them a pictures. They did not apologize, no refund (I think at a minimum that's was the lease they could do) they said they could follow up with me next day. Never did..... I told them I work, so would need something later in the day or evening. The woman replied that they were busy then, so could not give me an appointment at the requested time. I tried for different days and she refused to give me anything in the late afternoon or evening. There is Nothing on the site or voucher that says the service must be redeemed in the early part of the day. The location is open seven days a week until 9:00 pm. I tired multiple times to get an appointment at a time that works, but they refused. This place is not fancy at all. It is the motel of massage places. It's not a spa. But I would definitely say it is worth paying $40 less than the typical massage place to bypass the nice atmosphere. Lucy I believe was my masseuse. It was an excellent massage with shiatsu and hot stones thrown in for the price of $60 plus tip. It was an hour long and it did the trick. I couldn't have asked for a better massage. The only thing a bit distracting is that the walls are paper thin. You can hear the conversations at the front desk, etc. still worth going back. She found a great balance. She did an amazing job. 90 min deep tissue. I would have given 5 stars but teenagers were in the area screaming and carrying on in the parking lot and you could hear it through the walls. There is a theater nearby. Sorry the rating has to suffer but it was very distracting. If you have an early flight out of IAD this place is connected to a Marriott suites very close to the airport. I felt like the massage was somewhat abrasive and abrupt, with suddenly karate chopping my back, hot stones on my back, cold massage oil dripping onto me, and elbow digging into my back, but I left relaxed. My muscles were much less tight afterward. The therapist was receptive to feedback of too hard of pressure. I did ask for a deep tissue massage so maybe that's on me. The pressure was good and she focused on my back and feet. Her skill level was high. The bad: I really did not expect my therapist to answer her phone during my massage at least 5 to 6 times. I was in the Herndon area with an hour to kill and I'm so glad I stumbled here. From the outside, you see lace curtains covering all the windows which made me a little weary walking in. The women that work there don't speak English well, but they are definitely knowledgeable on their massage techniques (I recommend Judy!). Also, the walls here are thin, so you easily hear noise from the outside. If you are looking for warm and soft sheets or total silence, this place might not be for you. The service itself was nice, but when it came time to pay the head lady was EXTREMELY rude. I had online-purchased a voucher for a 45-minute couples massage, but she gave my partner & I an hour long massage because she accidentally double-booked someone else for the same time. Mistakes happen which is fine, but when I politely tried telling her that I am not going to pay more for the extra 15 mins since that's not what I ordered, she got VERY rude and kept cutting me off, not allowing me to explain her obvious mistake. She even tried proving me wrong by showing me the name & number for the booking, which of course didn't match my info... to make matters worse, instead of just accepting that she was wrong, she literally GRABBED MY PHONE & called the listed number hoping my phone would ring, but of course it didn't because it was someone else's phone number. When she was proven wrong yet again, there was no apology to me or my partner for her rudeness, nor was there any type of accountability for her actions. In conclusion, the staff there is extremely rude & unprofessional, and I will NEVER go back due to very poor customer service. Quite possibly one of the worst Chinese massages I've ever had. And I've had them all over the US. It's next to a TGIFriday & was close to my hotel during a work trip. I ignored other lower star reviews because it was getting late & I wanted to relax after being in a training class all day. Barely any pressure. Did not massage my legs once I flipped over & did the pick up the legs & let them slam down on the table 3 times before saying "ok finish"-which I HATE. It hurts the lower back & hips, which was my chief complaint going into the massage. Never asked if I had problem areas before taking me to the room or once I was face down on the table. Only asked if I wanted medium or hard & when I said medium = it was non-existent pressure. Also not sure about the validity of this place overall.
