I ended up ordering the Huevos Rancheros (eggs on a tortilla in some kind of tomato sauce with extra tortillas on the side, breakfast potatoes, & beans). Next time I'll get it without cheese (i don't think it listed cheese on the menu, but I should just always say no cheese all the time haha). The eggs were cooked perfectly over medium as I requested, and though normally I don't care for the sides, these were too good to skip! The breakfast potatoes were seasoned and cooked so well that I inhaled them, and the beans had a kind of smoky flavor to them. So good! My boyfriend was very happy with his pancakes and sausage. And, everything was very reasonably priced (which is especially awesome right now since inflation is out of control). I can't wait to come back here and try everything on their menu!

We typically enjoy dining here and rarely experience issues, but this was by far the most disappointing visit we've had.

To top off an already great evening, Lawrence, the executive chef, came over and spent some time talking with us as we were wrapping up dinner. It was a really nice personal touch and the perfect way to end the night. Overall, Ambar was an 11/10 experience for my wife and me.
