I strongly urge anyone considering Certified Luxury Auto in Scottsdale to be extremely cautious. When I visited the lot, the salesperson, Ryan, pressured me hard to buy a specific Jeep Wrangler -- insisting over and over that it was the right car for me and discouraging me from looking at anything else. Even when I raised concerns, he dismissed them and kept repeating, , "No, this car is perfect." I eventually purchased the vehicle after being repeatedly told -- both in person and on paper -- that the air conditioning system had been fully repaired ($2,300 worth of work, they claimed) and that the car was in excellent condition. The truth? The A/C doesn't work at all. In Arizona, that's not a small issue -- it's a safety concern. When I returned to ask for help, the staff verbally abused me, yelled at me, and a salesperson even called me a "f***ing idiot." The owner then physically shoved me out of the building. No help. No accountability. Just cruelty and deception. Throughout the sale, I was pressured into signing documents quickly and wasn't given proper time to read everything. I now realize this was intentional -- part of a larger pattern they use to mislead buyers. Since my experience, I've found others with similar complaints. This isn't a one-time mistake -- it's a business model based on dishonesty. To make matters worse, the check engine light has now come on for the third time, and I've already had to drive back to the dealership three separate times trying to get it fixed. When I first brought it up, the owner himself told me he was responsible for the engine -- and the dealership advertises a 30-day and even 60- or 90-day warranty on their vehicles. But they do not uphold it. Every time I've asked them to honor the warranty, they'd claim to fix something -- only for it to break again five minutes later -- and then turn hostile when I asked them to actually make it right. On my most recent visit, they outright refused to help and kicked me out of the store -- just for asking them to stand by the promises they make to customers. And yet, you'll notice Certified Luxury Auto has an unusually high number of glowing 5-star Google reviews. After what I went through, and what others have said, I have no doubt they are using bots or fake accounts to flood their page with fake praise. This is much harder to pull off on Yelp, where their real rating is far less flattering and far more accurate. At one point, the owner looked me in the eye and said, "You can call me racist, you can call me arrogant, but you can't say I sold you a bad car." The truth is, he was all of those things. His behavior was condescending, aggressive, and dismissive from the start -- and the car he sold me was absolutely in bad condition. It was a clear attempt to deflect blame while knowing full well that the vehicle had serious issues. Instead of taking responsibility, he leaned into arrogance and intimidation to shut me down. The owner once told me a story from his childhood -- how he lied to his father and was beaten so badly he was left bleeding and half-unconscious. The next day, his father told him, "Mo, if you lie once, you'll have to lie a hundred times to cover it up." It was meant to be a hard lesson in honesty. But watching him lie to me and other customers without remorse, it's clear he completely failed that lesson. Dishonesty is now the core of how he does business. During one visit, he even spent ten minutes -- in front of his own son -- complaining that his kids weren't like Steve Jobs. "My son at ASU is a dumbass" who couldn't do anything right. If this is how he treats his own family, it's no surprise how he treats customers. I can't imagine his father or mother being anything but ashamed of the man he's become. He also spent about 15 minutes venting to me about how he had received what he claimed was the best education from the best schools, yet couldn't make sense of why others -- particularly young, less-educated white women, as he implied -- were more successful than him. He brought up a recent customer, a young female CEO reportedly earning $556,000 a year, and questioned how someone like her could have that kind of success while he was stuck, as he put it, with a miserable life, useless children, a failing business, and a family he clearly resented. The whole conversation came off as resentful, bitter, and deeply inappropriate. I'm a young, hardworking and legal immigrant who was trying to build a stable life for my family. Buying this car was a big step for me. I came in trusting them -- I left feeling exploited and humiliated. Please think twice before doing business here. Update: On June 6, I had AutoZone run a diagnostic, which revealed serious issues: cylinder misfires, ignition coil and spark plug failure, intake gasket problems, battery and voltage issues. They also recommended replacing the coolant and PCV valve. This Jeep is clearly not roadworthy and was never good condition = fraud. read more

It's actually a rare AMG that you can only get in Germany which is where the car was shipped from, so $5K yea $5K was the shipping cost on the container itself, funny to but someone just offered me $84K for my car knowing what it actually was, I turned down that offer because the car is registered for a car show in December, but anyways... If you know your cars you would know that it's a rare AMG you cant get in the states. And like I said why would I pay $10 just to LOOK at a Lambo when I normally shop at Penski Lamborghini/Ferrari in Scottsdale where im well known at, and also OGARA San Diego and they dont charge me or any other customers that buy from them. I should of not have been treated they way I was regardless if I was to buy or not. I was hoping to buy, but due to how I was treated I took my business somewhere else where I normally shop at and got my cars there as you can see one in the picture of my first post. If I can rate this at a zero it would be zero rating. I called this business at 10:38 am on working day since I found a car that I was really interested on. Obviously I had asked questions like a typical person who wanted to know the history of the car, but that didn't last long (2 minutes and 39 seconds) because whoever was on the line (a person with very distinct Indian accent) hung up the call on me. All I heard was hello on the other line, no introduction or whatsoever response from him to clearly indicate if I was calling an actual business. I seriously doubted at the first verbal interaction if I had called the right number. I told the gentleman (but not really because he was rude) my motive for calling and that I am interested with one of their cars. I had legit questions about the car's service history, previous owners, damages included etc. All he said they always inspect and make sure their cars are great. But really how many times have we heard that from the everyone especially dealerships? This is not my first phone call about inquiring especially today. He told me I had a lot of questions and I should look at the car. I mentioned I am coming from Washington hence I had a lot of questions. I only asked if the price is firm. I didn't harass him for anything. I was asking legit questions because who wants to waste time flying down for a failed transaction? He then proceeded to ask if I was flying or driving, I responded that I will most likely be flying. He offered me to pay for the airfare and $200 for gas money. I responded I would have to discuss it still with someone first before I commit. Then he just said good bye and hung up on me. Is this really how people from Century Luxury Auto treat customers? Because it surely doesn't feel like a luxurious experience at all. This poor business etiquette will definitely not make any customers happy to buy your car. I hope you consider retraining your staffs, but you lost me as a customer. To anyone who will do transactions with this place, I hope you won't have to deal with this guy at all. I unfortunately purchased a vehicle from this place about 3 months ago. To this day I am still unable to drive it. Mechanical issues aside, after paying them almost $800 in doc fees I still do not have my plate or registration. After the first 30 days I called, come to find out that they sold me a vehicle that did not have valid emissions. I paid for a temp registration and paid to have the emissions done. I notified Mo that this had been done. 6 weeks later, still no plate or registration. I can't legally drive this vehicle on the street. Do some research and read my other reviews about this place. We saw an ad online for a 2006 Nissan 350Z touring convertible and it had 70000 miles on it and we had to go see. We spoke to John, took a test drive, and bought the car no questions asked. The finance manager Steve was very helpful, got us a better interest rate, and a 3 year extended warranty on the car for a reasonable price. We could not be any happier, the car runs like a dream and was given an awesome Carfax to boot. We had an issue with the broken driver side door handle which would not work, we had to roll down the window from outside to get in. I spoke with John and after further inspection handed me the money to get it fixed without hesitating. I would recommend this dealership to anyone they are honest and stand behind their merchandise. It needed an entire battery harness replacement, pinion oil leek, headlight was broken and discovered it had been in an accident and needed a new bumper and the hood had to be re-aligned and headlight replaced tail light has to be replaced, windsheild wiper reservoir had to be replaced, engine and cabin filters were totally clogged and I'm still finding more issues.
