My entire experience with certified fire has been flawless. From the moment we decided to start having discussions, a lovely man named Alan, who was very helpful over the phone. Then once we scheduled our date for our fire sprinkler inspection and fire extinguisher installations this amazing technician named Jessie Medina came by and was beyond amazing. Not only did he communicate very well before the appointment, but he also was early for the appointment and had such a pleasant demeanor and wonderful smile. He was very patient and walked us through the entire 14 unit inspection. He took his time and he brought booties for his shoes to keep all the interiors of the home clean. He has been doing this for eight years so he's very experienced and was very knowledgeable and the prices were amazing! What I also really loved is he spent some time with us to plan where we were gonna install the fire extinguishers on the exterior of the building and he was so helpful. Terrible Customer Service - Would Not Recommend We had a very frustrating experience with Certified Fire Extinguisher. We had our extinguishers serviced and paid in cash immediately after the job was completed. The technician even provided us with an invoice at the time of service. Two months later, we began receiving repeated emails from the company claiming the invoice was unpaid. I called to clarify and explained we had already paid in cash. To my surprise, the woman on the phone told me that because the technician didn't check off the "Paid in Cash" box on the receipt, they were treating the invoice as unpaid. How does that make sense? If the payment hadn't been received, why did the technician issue a receipt at all? Instead of taking responsibility for their technician's mistake, the representative turned it around and blamed us. When I expressed my frustration, she told me not to "yell at her" -- even though I was simply trying to explain the situation. This kind of disorganized, dismissive customer service is unacceptable. We paid honestly and in good faith -- it is not our job to manage their internal paperwork. Very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Our business was required by our local fire department to check our fire extinguishers. Having no experience with them, we turned to Yelp for recommendations and after reading the glowing reviews, we called Certified. I was immediately impressed by the solid sounding gentleman who took my call and scheduled our appointment. Clint, our service rep, was on time for our meeting today. He was so personable and upon assessing our needs, went to work. We ended up with two new fire extinguishers as one of ours was quite old, and the other was missing. He installed new brackets and helpful (also required) stickers, and taught us how to use the equipment. We were so pleased with his expertise and were also glad he made it so easy for us to comply with the fire department regulations.
