Thank God for First Choice Fire Protection! They saved me so much money. My building was overdue for a fire alarm test, and last year we tried a new Fire Protection company that ended up costing us a fortune. They said we had a bunch of problems and quoted us a ridiculous price to fix it. We decided to put off the repairs for the time being, but like many things this fell by the wayside and we never dealt with it. Life gets crazy sometimes, but honestly this should've been more of a priority. Fast forward to two weeks ago, I get a call from a Long Beach inspector saying they came by our building, and we are overdue for a fire alarm test. We definitely didn't want to get any fines, but we also didn't want to pay that other fire protection company a ridiculous amount of money to fix our system, so we decided to get a second opinion. I found First Choice Fire Protection on Yelp. I called on a Monday and they had two of their people at my building on Wednesday. After a couple hours they were done. The two people were very professional, and the service went without any problems at all. They told us there was only one broken device in the entire system!!!! Apparently the other company had lied to us and told us there our whole system needed to be replaced when it worked fine! The two technicians were able to fix the problem and now the system is working! I got a bill in the mail the following week and the price for everything was extremely reasonable. I will be using First Choice Fire Protection again in the future. Their professionalism was above and beyond what I would expect from any Fire Protection company. Looking for a new fire alarm test company since our prior vendor's prices are exorbitant. Used First Choice for the first time today for our annual condo complex fire alarm test. Louis was on time and professional. Our fire alarm panel is 30+ years old and I was concerned he wouldn't be familiar with the equipment. We have been using First Choice Fire Protection for all of our fire protection needs for over ten years now and Louis and his team are top notch. They are knowledgeable, dependable, an extremely reliable, I recently received a call from my facility in the middle of the night, 330am to be exact , that we had an active fire alarm.
