Another year, another fantastic service by Matt! Matt is always fantastic at communicating with us regarding scheduling and letting us know if there's any issues with any of our equipment. He's exceptionally knowledgeable and, at this point in our partnership, knows his way around our building like the back of his hand, which makes life a lot easier on us as he pretty much self-services. We also let him know we would be moving buildings later this year and he made sure to advise us to take our extinguishers with us, so we could continue our annual services without having to purchase all-new equipment and save on fees. Thank you again Matt! read more

After installing the new fire extinguishers, Matt assured us that he would handle annual refills automatically, eliminating the need for us to send reminders. He would take care of the service, generate the invoices, and we would simply pay him. The convenience of this arrangement was a major selling point for us. However, when the time for the annual service arrived, we found there was no automatic refill. Upon reaching out via email to request the service, Matt explained that, since our apartments are in Montclair and he is based in Orange County (Placentia), the 40-mile round trip for such a small job was not feasible for him, and he declined to provide the service. read more

I sent out a quote request for two 5lb fire extinguishers to be installed at my apartment complex on the outside wall. Matt was the first one to reply. He asked if I wanted a box to protect the extinguishers and sent a picture of a white box with the extinguisher. It was a sharp looking unit so I asked about the glass. He said it's made of plastic which is better quality and it won't cause any inquires. It was late at night when I sent out my request but Matt continued answering my questions. His prices are reasonable so I asked him to install two more boxes for exiting extinguishers at another apartment location. I had him relocate one of the extinguishers because it was too high and next to the tenant's door. He moved it so that it was between two units. I love how professional his products look and I'm confident that the fire inspector will give his seal of approval. He did both of my apartment location in one hour. I highly recommend Matt and he has my business for life! By the way, he has a really neat business name. read more

I was not planning to leave a review but Matt was so professional and nice that I just had to leave one! First things first, Matt truly deserves his 5 star yelp review. I actually called several places to get a quote regarding fire extinguisher installation but felt more comfortable with Matt after our phone conversation. Matt was very helpful and gave me all the information I needed regardless if I ended up using his service or not. He even went down to the job site, as promised per a prior day phone conversation, and gave me a quote with a few pointers and recommendations the very next day. Requested a quote through Yelp. This is probably the smoothest business i have ever dealt with. Jessica responded my message in minutes and Matthew called to answer all my questions while I was confused about the service. Right away by talking to Matthew, I knew he was trustworthy. I found Fewer Fires on Yelp based on the star ratings and number of reviews. They really deserve the 5 star rating given to them. Communication was fast and easy. Matt responded quickly to my request for a quote and set up service right away. I liked that he even called to notify me about a typo in his quote that I hadn't even notice. He just wanted to make sure there were no surprises or miscommunication which was very honest. At the end of installation, he took photos and included them in the invoice. I had fire extinguishers installed for a fully occupied apartment complex. Matt worked around my tenants' schedule and didn't disrupt them. He was able to schedule service sooner than expected because he was considerate to the fact that the tenants would more likely be home on a Sunday rather than a Tuesday. I am very satisfied with their service. I will be using them again for annual services and/or other installation services. Thanks, Fewer Fires! read more

Called Fewer Fires on Wednesday to see if they can replace the glass for a fire extinguisher case. They kindly squeezed us in the very next day. They also noticed the yellow needle in the red zone and took care of that as well to avoid any issues that may come up in the future. A big THANK YOU to Matt to helped us out. read more

Fewer Fires gets it done! All of my fire extinguishers needed an annual inspection/certification, I called the service that was supposed to be taking care of us, because this was a "Code Red", and they couldn't even be bothered to return my phone call! I decided to use Yelp to find a company, and it was a smart move, I found Fewer Fires, I tried them because of their excellent reviews, and those reviews were accurate. Matt got out to us and took care of business, getting us back up and running. Awesome customer service and pricing, we are glad we found Fewer. There are plenty of Fire Extinguisher Service companies out there, all charging pretty much the same, so customer service is key, Fewer Fires knows that and I look forward to finally having a Fire Service Company that will provide great service. Thanks Matt! read more

I have been dealing with Mr. Fewer the last 10 years or so regarding our fire extinguishers. His prices do not fluctuate from year to year, I think in the last 10 years his prices have risen less than 10%. His workorders are very easy to read if I need to reference it to the local fire department upon inspection. He is the type of person that I'd like to enjoy a cold beer with after a long day of work and he just happens to be the best fire extinguisher tech in north orange county. read more
