Wow! The food choices for take out are amazing and I can't wait to try some. I came in for an Italian hoagie, which was FRESH, delicious and HUGE!! I'll be back to try the deli items, especially the pickles in a barrel. Service was excellent and the price is amazing. Even a bakery if you need to get that sweet tooth craving.

Italian hoagie

Very friendly service, great choices. I got hoagies, candy, deli meat, meatballs, rolls. Next time I will try some pastries. Yum. Nice vibe to the place

Italian Hoagie

4.5. Delicious sandwiches and great prepared meal options! We can't wait to come back and work our way through both menus. There is also a bunch of Italian pantry items including dried pastas, jarred sauces, tomatoes, and olives etc. We tried three sandwiches and a cannoli - everything was very yummy and the sandwiches were LARGE. The spicy meatball was indeed quite spicy and tasty, the Italian was yummy but I should've added something spicy or vinegary, and the Turkey with balsamic was super flavorful! The small cannoli is about thumb sized - which was perfect! There is a small seating area inside, but we took our to go. We went just before noon on a weekday and it wasn't too busy. Would recommend and will be back.

Chicken Caesar Wrap

One of my go to spots for lunch when I am working from home. My typical order is a chicken caesar wrap (Amazing!) with a bag of chips and Diet Coke. Easy, quick, and delicious. I will often times grab a Corropolese Tomato Pie as well. Cintrellas has recently completed a beautiful renovation. Expanding into the storefront next door and offering a wider variety of food and treats. With a full menu of hoagies, cheesesteaks, deli meats, cheeses, desserts, catering trays, frozen Italian meals, and many more, this place is the perfect neighborhood deli. Staff is always extremely friendly every time I am in there. Can't wait to come back and try more that they have to offer!

Chicken Cutlets red pepper and mozzarella

To be honest - growing up in DC I never had a chicken cutlet hoagie ( call them subs in DC) until I moved to Philly. I love the - variety of toppings. I ordered cutlet with roasted red peppers and fresh mozzarella. Big! Lots of food. More of a style but I like the whole cutlet not chopped. Was a little dry and not sure if I had deli sliced or little mozzarella balls- I could not taste it. I expected big slices from a mozzarella ball. Red peppers were good ( assumed canned) . Bread was fresh but I like the sesame seeded hoagie tools ( forgot the famous local brand) I would rate the taste average - but great value for $11.99. Way too much food for 1 person. Sharing is caring I gave the other half to a family member. I will try a different sub next time. My foodie voice in me wishes for better bread and not so overcooked cutlets and whole cutlets. The store was rebuilt after a fire- super clean and lots of pre- made refrigerated choices. Great prices for a large family. The counter attendants are friendly and felt welcomed. I've ordered their hoagie party box for a birthday party and it was a perfect variety and yummy. I highly recommend the box. They also had Italian pasta, antipasti, snacks cheese etc. all looked tempting to buy. I'll spend more time next time shopping. Love this place for the local hometown vibe, friendly service and great value. I definitely will be back again- maybe for a roast beef hoagie -

I can't tell from photos if there is any dine in seating? Menu has me in drool mode but I have to wait til Saturday when we visit son in the area.

Soooooo. Technically the answer is yes but only like 2-3 small tables. It's mostly takeout, market etc. but you can eat there

My parents come here periodically, and I'd been trying to join them on one of my visits back home,…read morebut on a couple occasions we couldn't get reservations, and then the third time, we got one but it turned out they were going to be closed that week for a post New Year's vacation. Fast forward to this latest visit home. I finally secured a reservation...but then late yesterday afternoon my mom's knee started acting up to the point where she could barely stand on it. Fortunately, ice, Advil and rest overnight--and my mom really, really wanting to come here--kept us on track, and tonight I finally made it. It's a cozy spot, and I can see it making an excellent date night, especially since the BYOB setup allows you to bring the wine of your choice (and save some $$). We were seated promptly--this Sunday was relatively mellow--and the servers were super accommodating about removing a chair so that my mom's walker could occupy the unused space on our four-top. The menu is what I call right-sized. It may seem smallish, but there is a strategic assortment of salads and apps, pastas and mains (and, of course, desserts) that is sure to accommodate everyone. Dean, the young man who would go on to do an outstanding job taking care of us for the night (with the other two servers chipping in seamlessly as needed), went through the specials. My mom was particularly intrigued by a squid-ink fettucine with lobster and shrimp (and cherry tomatoes) in a saffron cream sauce. Could we split it as an app, we asked? Would it be too much food? On Dean's advice, we went ahead, while my dad got the mussels. All three of us ordered the pork chop, which my parents have been raving about for a couple years now. How could I not try it? Ordering finished, bread and olive oil (with a bit of balsamic) arrived at the table. Knowing I had a pasta coming and that the pork chop was a good-sized portion, I didn't want to overdo it, which I think was ultimately a good choice. The bread took the edge off, and then the pasta arrived. It was just the right amount for two people to share as an app, and we both enjoyed it, while my dad loved his mussels (and then dunked lots of his bread in it). Then came the main event. The pork chop lived up to (and frankly, exceeded) the hype. It was tender and perfectly cooked and oh-so-flavorful. Definitely one of the best I've ever eaten, and this isn't my first pork-chop rodeo. It was accompanied by asparagus and yummy baby Yukon Gold potatoes; I left a view of the latter, not because they weren't yummy but rather because the pork chop was huge and I was not skipping dessert. For dessert, I went with the house-made cannoli, which was a lovely, sweet (but not oversweet) ending to an excellent meal. I'd be happy to come back to Burrata anytime.

The waiters were very attentive. The menu was limited but has something for everyone. I went with the Chicken Parmiginia. The sauce was flavorful and delicious. The chicken was so tender and the portion size was just right. Not overwhelming at all. My wife had the squid ink pasta in a white wine and garlic sauce with crab meat. She didn't leave a morsel. We were amazed at how good our food was and why we hadn't dine here before. We split a mixed greens salad which was also delicious with apples. Topped it off with Strawberry Gelato and Limoncello cake. We had a great date night and can't wait to go back. Very reasonably priced and also a BYOB. So grab your friends or family, some adult beverages and have a wonderful dining experience. Burrata we will be back and sooner then later.

I booked a table for "Sinatra Night" at Giampinos. First, I had to leave a $25 (non refundable…read moredeposit, with credit applied to the meal). The rest of the meal had to be paid in cash. Very strange, since they were able to take my credit card for the deposit. But whatever.... we were all very excited to go. We even decided on our meals ahead of time from their menu online, which seemed a little pricey. Well......first......they had a VERY LIMITED OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE menu for Sinatra Night! They charged $48 for Veal Piccata! In fact, nothing on the menu was cheaper than $36 and that was for pasta!!!! And....you might think that the Veal must have been delicious at that price, but it wasn't!!!! It showed up on a plate soaked in bland gloppy sauce, no garnish, no nothing. They gave me a side bowl with string beans boiled potatoes. It was like they had a bunch of side dish bowls made up ahead of time. They gave absolutely no thought to food presentation, what so ever. And then when the bill came. We had to remind the waiter to apply our $25 per person credit! If they needed to cover the cost of the singer, I get that. But why not be upfront about it and charge a cover? Why not offer your regular menu? They only had one seating all evening. So disappointing! I feel really bad about having to leave this review, because I really want them to succeed, but I really resent feeling ripped off for sub par food at a premium price. On a positive note, Rich DeSimone was fantastic! He makes a great Frank Sinatra. We will see him again, but definitely NOT AT GIAMPINOS! DL

Very busy house on a Saturday night and oddly but graciously quieter than many steakhouse environs. Service is good, as should be expected with this type of "pricier" option. If nitpicking, a side dish of Brussels sprouts delivered later than all entrees. Plates for "finished" diners cleared before all diners were through, which is understandable but not practiced in some higher end places. Steaks are truly cooked to requested temperatures, medium, medium rare, perfect and not as common as portrayed. The octopus appetizer is really well done. The halibut special was presented nicely and was delicate and flavorful all at once. Our server apparently makes the cappuccino herself and was quite proud of her skill and was really a nice touch.

Social Hour was nearing the end, so our server, Rebecca made sure we ordered what we wanted in enough time. We ordered drinks and several appetizers. Everything was so delicious. I love that they have a coat room, especially in the winter. There's a huge bar with plenty of seating around it. Several booths in the bar area and many tables in the dining areas. They also have an upstairs dining area.
