When these ladies left their prior salon to open this new one, I just had to follow them!! I have not found a better quality pedicure or manicure anywhere in town or even out of town! The massage is long, top notch, and now hot stones are even included!! Plus they are as nice as could be. My mother-in-law had been told by numerous salons that there was no hope for her lack of big toenail and had given up. Horrible experience. Appointment took two hours. She kept messing up my nails and having to go back and fix them. Called ahead of time and they said an sns manicure with extension would be $45. With all the added charges they have, my total was $54. One charge being $5 to shape the nail... I will definitely never be going back and will warn friends/family about this place. read more

This place is great! The best part is that they use disposable plastic liners. The techs are all very nice and I've gone a few times and had someone different each time. The hot stone massage is great as well as the shoulder massage at the end. read more

Great place! Incredible pedi's at very reasonable prices. The suite is clean and well maintained. They offer a variety of services so you almost have one stop shopping (add a hair salon inside and it's the whole package!). I had the cucumber pedi today. $35 gives you a standard pedicure with callus remover, paraffin wax, hot rock massage and a relaxing experience. I've been to other places, nothing compares. This is a Gem! I have tried so many places in this area. With mixed results. Friendly, friendly, friendly for starters. Cleanliness is definitely a priority. They TRULY sanitize all their instruments as well as use plastic liners in the foot baths!! I was not very satisfied with my manicure today. My aunt and I did a spur of the moment mani to treat ourselves. Her tech did an amazing job with her nails but I was not satisfied with my tech. She didn't put polish on my full nail and left out several corners and tops near my cuticles. The top coat also didn't cover the full polished area. So that was disappointing. I had a wonderful pedicure at Centre Pointe on Mother's Day. It was hands-down the best I've ever received, and was truly a luxurious experience - hot stone massage, cucumber scrub and an impeccable polish. All told, it lasted about an hour, so this is not your quickie in-and-out salon. The salon is VERY clean and spacious, and the service is top-notch. I would definitely recommend this salon for the "beginning of the season" pedicure, when your toes come out of hibernation. It is a little pricey depending on your pedi frequency, but for special occasions, it's perfect. I would recommend an appointment, as it tends to get busy. I have been going to this spa/salon since 2012 for the gel manicure on both my hands and feet. They try their best to accomodate intricate designs on fingers nails (from pictures). Some of their chairs probably need a new cushion or two, but they're still clean and functional (just a tad bit of an eyesore). I love Trisha and Tracy the most, but the man that works there with the glasses I would never recommend. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt after he did my toes, but he was unbelievably rough with the removal of previous color and the buffing and shaping of the toe nails. He sanded my skin off !!!! After the torture of prepping the nails the quality of the gel manicure was crap, color was on the skin and the entire nail wasn't covered. My last visit was 12/8/14 and I had a full set for my fingernails, which I had never done before (Have to let my toenails grow out after I had a war with the couch). Now don't get me wrong, he's a great guy, but needs to calm down on the sanding. So the same guy does my full set and not only does he sand my skin off I also get several cuts underneath my fingernails due to him trying to get the glue off of my skin from the nails (He probably could have avoided that with extra care). He did a great job at making sure the powder coating didn't look like an alien nail glued on (the end of the powder coating was flush with my nail so you couldn't even tell when there was growth). After all of that was done I was sent to Tracy for the design (gotta love candy cane's for the holiday season) which she did very well. I'll be returning soon once my nails have grown out (split my fingernails after changing the brakes on my car), but I'll be avoiding the guy with glasses. read more

I needed to get my nails and toes done and since I am house sitting for a friend in Phoenix I didn't want to drive to my normal salon in Scottsdale. I found this salon on Yelp and made an appt for a gel fill and gel pedicure. When I made the appt the girl that answered the phone was easy to understand and very nice. I arrived for my appt early and the same girl welcomed me and immediately took me to a nail tech station. The salon was clean and pretty busy. My nail tech was waiting at her station, she did not say one word to me, just looked at her phone, drank her water and started getting her tools together. I finally said hello and she looked at me and asked what color I wanted. She did a good job with my nails (I ended up getting a full set since my nails were in pretty bad shape) if you have ever had an old set removed I am sure you know it can be painful. She did a great job it and was very careful with the removal process. My new set looked good but I am not too sure I am happy with the gel polish she put on - it looks thick and I am worried it is going to peel off. But I will update that later. The only conversation we had was regarding my nails and what color i wanted until she was almost finished and then she told me she was tired and just wanted to go home. Unfortunately that would not be happening for her because it turns out she was the one who gave me my pedicure. Normally I am asked what type of pedicure I would like- this time I was not asked and you could tell this woman was truly at the end of her day. My pedicure was okay, nails look good) but what i really want from a pedicure is the foot/leg massage. I did get the hot stones run up and down my legs a couple times and she used lotion that was in a warmer which was nice but..... I seriously did not get a very good foot and leg massage and had to watch a lady 2 chairs down have a girl rub, and pound on her calves and it looked amazing. Meanwhile my tech was lackluster in anything other than the way she would slap my foot to tell me where it needed to go. Two nice things about the spa chairs - they have neck pillows and the thing you rest you calf on while they work in your feet which was nice. I will tell you - I do like a tech who doesn't talk much- I hate having to say I don't understand what they are saying sometimes if they talk and I do just want to relax while getting my services. This woman provided that but the problem was she just seemed angry and not into it. I will give them another try since I work in Phoenix and this is not too far from my office BUT!! I won't go back to that tech the next time I go in. Seriously, she is not a happy person and it showed in the quality of her customer service. Everything else was very nice which is why I gave 4 stars - I just think I got a tech who didn't want to be there that day. They have a lot of color selections and do SNS and other things (eyelash extensions etc ) not sure if they have different options for pedicures because it wasn't offered (no laminated sheet that lists different pedicure options was offered). Hopefully my gel nails last and like I said I will go back. Everyone else in the place was friendly. Oh, one other thing - there was one lady getting a pedicure who was on the phone the whole time and did not seem to realize that she was talking so loud everyone could hear her - which was totally annoying. Salon manager should have politely asked her to tone it done. I have been coming to Center Pointe Nails since they opened. The salon has a sophisticated yet warm and friendly environment. It's clean and I really like that they use liners in the pedi tubs. The guy could've added a little more strength in his massage and gel mani is already wearing off after a week when I haven't used my hands a lot this past week. Came in as a walk-in on a Tuesday evening, so they weren't busy. Yang gave me my pedicure and she was very detail oriented. She cut my nails nice and short, just as I asked and did a great job on my cuticles and calluses. She even did a little more smoothing when she found a rough spot during the massage, which was just the right pressure. The shoulder massage at the end topped off one of the best pedicures I've received, even from a fancy spa. Thanks, Yang! My first trip to Centre Pointe was with a large group of girls; I think there were about 14 of us pre my friends wedding. The salon is big, clean and the service is great. They couldn't get all of us done at the same time, but set up chairs for some of us to wait in and got the group in and out with great pedicures. I have left my old salon for Centre Pointe. The salon was a popular place to be when I arrived but they didn't make me feel like I was an inconvenience without an appointment. I loved how spacious the space was, stepping inside I felt like I was at a spa and not a "strip mall nail salon." The gal who did my nails was friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a nice neighborhood nail place. The place was old and smelt dirty. Not worth it for the high prices. I got pink gel nails that only lasted 5 days, which should last over two weeks. When I returned to ask them to fix the three nails that chipped, they said it would be an extra 20$ on top of the 70$ I had paid just a few days earlier. Would never go back.
