So tired of ordering a "Steak sub", and the "shredded beef is pulled from a tray...already "overcooked with no flavor" At "jersey Mikes, the fresh made bread is awesome(and they will toast it for you on request".We chose the Parmesan crusted... We both ordered the Biggest size Grilled Steak and melted cheese sub... it was HUGE! Well over the 12 inch normal sub sizes at the local competitors in town That said...The "STEAK meat itself" was cut fresh right in front of us(as all their deli meats are too(for an italian sub, as an example) Seared, and put on that DELICILIOUS homemade sub loaf... I could NOT WAIT to unwrap it and sit at the available tables to sink my teeth in it. Both my husband(who is very spoiled by "my hot homemade subs from my kitchen) and I myself...OMG! We thought we died and went "hot Steak sub Heaven! We even complimented to the manager and very friendly staff... And guess what? we EACH at the WHOLE 15 inch sub! Reasonably priced and will never step foot in the 2 other sub shops in Mount Pleasant again! "word of mouth, and seeing their commercials with "Danny Devito" on television...Pushed us to give Jersey Mikes a try...So thrilled that we did! Oh, there was this really nice elderly lady who was working the floor(cleaning at the time)In speaking with "her", she also was a good home cook like myself...Her "best compliment to the owner? ..."I would NOT be working here if the "food was not up to par"...She was 100% correct! Update...I have read some reviews that parking is a bit tough, but "thats most places in the busy town of Mount Pleasant...I just avoid at lunch times...This is a pretty "new business", and there may be a wait, but "well worth it...There are 3 different "sizes to chose from...I chose the 15/16 inch steak, and it was only 15.99 Subways 12 inch is now 17.99, without FRESH sliced hot grilled steak. I found the pricing fair for they quality in comparison to other sub places.A spurge...but well worth it!.it filled us up for the day...so good I did not want to take home...ate it piping hot off the grill there...just like "when I pick up a pizza...I want to eat tin the car(ex.Jets)...nothing is great "reheated"

It took over 30 minutes to get my order ( after waiting line an additional 20 minutes). The chicken was so dry it was like jerky there was a couple parts that were so crunchy I thought I bit bone. I even pulled it out of the sandwich and tried to eat it as a chicken tender. The ranch had so much Dill in it it tasted like tartar sauce and not ranch. There was a small dollop of macaroni and cheese (mushy as all get out!) on it definitely not what they show on the picture! The fries were soggy and tasteless. The bacon on the sandwich was barely cooked it was flabby. My friend got the bowl with the macaroni and cheese base chicken tenders bacon and green onions he had like three pieces of chicken small cut up it was ridiculous. The service was terrible. I saw three people bringing their orders back when I was waiting in line and I wondered why, now I get it! I will never go there again and I was really disappointed because Guy is one of my favorite people and I really thought everything looked great on the menu but what you get and what you see up there on the signs are definitely not the same.

I had intended to try pasta Alla Norcina which I noticed last visit but the told me it's on the winter menu (I think that they were on the Spring menu). I spoke with the manager and he said to come back in two weeks and they will switch to the summer menu and that it contains his favorite pasta dish. We started talking about the Pasta Alla Norcinia and I told him my relatives are from Norcia Umbria and that I've made it several times. I told him I use Italian sausage and the manager said that the chef uses actual wild boar sausage. He said the chef has amazing connections for ingredients like this. They also have a full time pastry chef on staff and all their deserts are home made. I was informed that the chocolate ganache cake has had the longest run on the menu and never seems to come off so I tried that. It was delicious There are several items on the menu that I have to try. I took a few pictures of the Spring menu and I've added them below. The gulf shrimp is on my radar and I need to try the venison burger. I just need to get past the gyro lamb burger with tzatziki. It's just so good.

They were also doing a deal on their mocktails for dry January, which I thought was cool. The menu is pretty varied with lots of options for meat-eaters--I wouldn't come here if you're vegan or vegetarian. Entrees get a bit pricey (their steak frites is $49), but sandwiches are around $15-$18 and come with fries. I ordered the pesto chicken wrap with a side of mac and cheese instead of fries. My friend got the chicken and chorizo nachos and we decided to split them half and half. Our food came out quickly and looked really good! The wrap was tasty but I couldn't really taste the pistachio pesto. The mac and cheese was incredible--super cheesy, perfectly cooked cavatappi noodles, and very flavorful. I'm really glad I upgraded to that and would even consider getting the full entree size in the future. The nachos were pretty loaded, and a generous portion. I liked all the toppings but didn't really taste much chorizo. These would be a good starter for a group. Overall a very good experience and I would come back.

They had a nice diverse menu with plenty of options. I highly recommend as soon as you sit down to get an order of Parker House rolls for the table. It's a great way to start and get some food in your belly! I started with the shrimp cocktail which was great. These weren't giant colossal shrimp, but there were plenty of fresh, peeled cold shrimp with a decent cocktail sauce for dipping. The greens on top had a horseradish flavor which was interesting to say the least. The Onion Soup was also quite delicious with a rich, brown broth loaded with onions, a soggy crouton and plenty of cheese. It was piping hot and hit the spot after freezing all day in the conference center areas of the hotel. Finally, I had the steak sandwich with fries. Man, that was a delicious sandwich with lots of thinly slices ribeye. It was moist, flavorful and the bread was good too. Those fries were also great. They were crispy with the right amount of salt! Yum! I was full from the other items so I could not finish it, but man I wanted to. Others at the table enjoyed the Parker house rolls as well as the Fish and Chips and Salmon dinner. None of us had room for dessert but that tall ass piece of chocolate cake was calling my name! Our server (Liz) was amazing. Very attentive even after working a double. I think we may have been her last table. She was friendly and helped us with any requests we had. I recommend making a reservation to be sure you can eat at a time you want. Otherwise, you may need to wait a bit or get shut out completely.

App. Spinach dip. Just ok. Similar to what you would get at Applebees. Strip steak, medium. Came out gray looking and rare. Covered in a sweetish gravy‍. Not good. If you want a well seasoned grilled strip steak, this is not it. Sides were just ok. Pesto Pasta papperdelle with shrimp. A bit dry. Good taste but too many pistachios on top. Shrimp was good quality. Dessert. Chocolate cake. Ok. Overall the meal was underwhelming and not worth the pricey final bill.
