I ordered a couple of the sweets, including a Turkish coffee, a cappuccino, and a muffin, and every item that I had was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place to individuals who enjoy caffeine, a relaxing environment, and delicious sweets!

I was…read morealready a milk tea kinda girlie in the boba universe, but this was the first beverage of theirs that I tried and it scratched a certain itch I'd been unconsciously craving. Something old-world maybe? Like a flavor that's existed for centuries and been passed down through time and so so many generations... and it's now landed in our corner of the world that's just a few blocks away? Globalization and the world within, for f' sakes! This place is truly brilliant. More recently, I'm only in town a few days out of the week, but I make a point to visit this location or their other location, Mokhamena on Panama, each day I'm here to, at a minimum, pick up two for myself--the first one is to function and the second is to savor. There was a time I'd pick up the party-size for my coworkers when I liked them... but alas, times have changed so more for me. The staff there are always friendly and awesome, and on days that I'm lucky enough, I get to actually enjoy the cafe. So grateful you guys are here and sharing flavors from across the world.

The atmosphere is welcoming, and…read moreit's clear that Hector ,Chris (his son) and the whole crew are working to create more than just a coffee shop--he's says hes building a cultural hub for the community, and it shows... THE GRUB: The Cuban coffee is outstanding, and the Vietnamese iced coffee is one of the best around, actually its the only one around. If im clueless let me in on the Vietnamese coffe you know of...anyhoo If you're looking for a caffeine kick, the cold canned Vietnamese coffee will give you a jolt you wouldn't believe. Food-wise, the Peruvian grilled cheese sandwich was flavorful and well made, but I'd recommend asking for the sauce on the side unless you enjoy a messy sandwich. The ham and cheese croffel had great flavor, but it was a little light on the ham and cheese. I think the cropples are better suited in the sweet variety as they seem small incompressants to a ham and cheese croissant someone would purchase for about half that price. In my opinion, it was more of a kid's snack than a meal and not quite worth the price, if you're actually hungry I would go with something else off the menu. Everything was made fresh , you must be patient here , perfection can be slower than your metabolism, so dont go there hangry. During my visit, Hector explained that he envisions Uncharted Adventures as a gathering place for the community. The business frequently hosts weekend vendor markets and local running clubs. Hector also shared he was creating a dedicated Memorial Day wall honoring local veterans, first responders, and teachers, while also working on an outdoor eating area. It's always great to see a Hector and Chris, and the new Adventures they take on. This is one of the few coffee shops in Bako worth checking out, whether you're stopping in for a coffee, a bite to eat, or a community events theyre hosting give em a visit an introduce yourself. You can thank me later. .Overall I would give everything a four and a half Stars but since Yelp doesn't do half Stars I'll give them a five out of five stars. As they deserve a free half star for all of the Uncharted Adventures that they are a part of...lol get it.. nevermind.. bye for now...

The second was almond butter and banana with cocoa nibs, honey, and cinnamon. The third was Nutella and hazelnuts topped with strawberries and coconut flakes. They were all delicious, but my favorite was definitely the Nutella and hazelnut toast. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the variety made it fun to share and try different combinations. Service was quick and friendly. The ambiance is a cute cafe vibe. You place order at the counter and someone brings your order to your table. Smitten is definitely a must-visit spot when downtown for breakfast.

SMITTENS STAPLE IS THEIR ABILITY TO MISS THE FLAVOR IN EVER SINGLE DISH…read more Update: coming back after some palate development... smitten is one of the most tasteless restaurants in town. Their hype was definitely due to the 'aesthetic'. Nothing is really outstanding to me. The drinks are such a let down, the coffee is borderline yuck.. do not recommend. Everything is quite unmemorable. Service is whatever, sometimes mid, sometimes bad. Nothing outstanding. Ambiance.... well... this one has been replicated one too many times. The food is heavily missing flavor, the hummus is disgusting. I can't believe they call that thing hummus, it's an insult to actual dish.. it's almost like it was trying to imitate the real dish, but failed terribly in even attempting to. Their pizza tasted like play-doh and looked very pale. Smitten is at least consistent with one thing, which is their staple: no flavor. One of the breaking points for me was being served food that had someone's HAIR. The restaurant is very expensive for the poor experience they have to offer. I stopped recommending them a long time ago.
