My Pad Se Ewe was well seasoned, vegetables were properly cooked, and the tofu I requested was also seasoned. Mike is a nice guy and his beer is excellent. "Gravity Falls" is a stout aged in whiskey barrels. Chocolate notes and complex flavors abound. My vegetarian omelette was filled with tender broccoli, cherry tomatoes, and sliced avocado on top. Hash browns were delightfully crisp. Cappuccino was hot but too milky and shot was sour - a finer grind and half the milk would fix that. Mike refuses to turn the "Closed" sign to "open" in the morning. But don't let that stop you!

The staff was great, super friendly too. For this type of fresh cooked bagel, the service was fast. The fries are always a letdown wherever I go, but these fries are PERFECT! The establishment is very clean, inside and out. Service is fast and friendly. I had no idea the 1/2 patty was going to be so huge because here in Bakersfield patties claiming yo be that size come out skinny, and that's why I ordered two instead of one. I suggest just houng with the ¼. The burger had tomatoes that were soggy, onions that were crispy, lettuce that wasn't wilted, pickles had a good crunch, the meat was seasoned just right, bacon was cooked perfectly and the buns weren't smothered in sauce which makes this burger in my opinion one of the Best in Kern County. Soft serve ice cream on point. I couldn't decide between chocolate or vanilla so I had mixed and it was great. The only thing that was missing which I don't know if they carry them or not but some hot yellow peppers would've put this rating at a solid 11, so with that being said yes I rate this place a solid 10.
