I think this is by far our favorite place to get pizza in the Cleveland Ohio area. The cherry pizza is quirky and completely different than anything I have ever tried before. It has become my favorite. However every other pizza we have tried is absolutely delicious. So why four stars instead of five that the food deserves? The music is so painfully loud that we never stay to eat dessert because our nerves are shot by the time we're done eating our pizza. I love loud music, but the volume is over the top and right down obnoxious. There were several other people sitting around us that felt the same. Many did not linger, though a couple said they wanted another cocktail and glass of wine, but they could not tolerate the music any longer as they were tired of screaming at each other, trying to make conversation. I too wanted to enjoy another glass of wine, but passed for the same reason I looked for a hidden camera, thinking there's some hidden comedy going on around our table, but as I read through all the previous comments, I see that this one complaint continually rears its ugly head. I'm clueless as to why they have not taken care of this situation by at the very least, turning down the volume a tick or two. I forgot to mention that both my husband and I stuff our ears with wadded up napkins yet still I feel as though I'm inside a speaker at a euro discotech being run by teenage boys who don't know any better. We have debated eating outside from time to time when the weather is nice, but the sun is beating down on the tables with little shade provided so we can either be deafened or be scorched. We have not enjoyed going elsewhere when we were craving this specific pizza simply because we just couldn't take it. All that being said, the pizza is absolutely spectacular and is second to none! read more

The absolute best pizza in Ohio City. Was really blown away how great the taste was as we did take out. A lot of times wood fire pizza doesn't do well as take out but this one is amazing. Did just mushroom. In a developing area and hope it attracts other cool businesses read more

Came here with my mama and we had a blast. One of the best if not the best pizza in Cleveland. The mozz cheese was incredible. I would eat it all day if I had access to it. The owner is fun to watch when he is in action. He tosses the pizza in the air like in NY or old school spots. Very nice guy as well as the staff. Check out Cent's! read more

New York style perfect portion pizza for two on a date night not wanting to bring home leftovers. Again date night, tons of variety with cocktails, and wines of the night. Biggest regret is not ordering the tiramisu but will be back. Service is excellent, it's pizza so an appetizer and glass of wine will help in the meantime. The layout is super retro and cute, omg the disco ball in the back is classic. I have a big butt so the stools and mini chairs didn't bother me but would be annoying to my boney grandma as an fyi so tell her to come out for pizza and BYOC (bring your own cushion) read more

This place seems really popular. We came on a Saturday night and takeout was a 40 minute wait so definitely come early. The vibes were super cool and I really liked the decor of the place. We got two pizzas and I really liked them. I usually like crispier crust but it was nice and soft here. The sauce and cheese were also perfect. A nice dinner for a Sat night. read more

Was recommended this place by a friend, and it lived up to the hype. Shared a pepperoni pizza and the cherry pie pizza with two friends, as well as the kale salad and bread. The cherry pie pizza is interesting, though one of my friends said they wouldn't order it again. Great beer selection as well! Service was quick, ambiance was quaint. Would definitely go back. read more

Great date night spot, especially the bar! Food is fantastic and decor is so unique and the service is great, checks all my boxes

One of the best pizzas in Cleveland. Highly recommend! We will be back. Service was excellent.

The pizza is small for the price. The wonder bread was loaded with salt. I would not try this place again. read more

Best pizza in Cleveland HANDS DOWN! The crust is the perfect thickness, it crisps up perfectly without burning. I was hesitant to try the cherry pie at first but it has quickly become my favorite. I haven't had a pizza here I don't love. On top of pizza the wine selection is AMAZING & I love how you can have a glass while you wait for a table. Last night I tried the duck prosciutto for the first time and it was delicious, unlike anything I've ever had before. The staff is also super friendly and helpful! read more

Zig zag drink is amazing. The cherry pie is interesting. Not sure how I feel with ricotta on my pizza

Very rude hostess and manager. Tried to make a "large party" online reservation, as the website requests. Yelled at for trying to do so. Sad we won't be giving it another try. Thanks. read more

Wow, we had a friend recommend this place to try. Unexpectedly, this is now our favorite pizza in the Cleveland area. We also ordered the bread and butter appetizer which was so delicious I'm still dreaming about it. Who knew something so simple could be that delicious. read more

This was my first time coming to Cent's after hearing good things about the pizza. The inside was very cute, with interesting decorations. After we got seating, which was outside by the corner, we noticed that there were an abundance of ants. The timing from placing our order to receiving our pizza was close to an hour, the majority of which was spent killing as many ants as possible. We ordered the Gorfunkel, which was good and light; however, the ants returned with a vengeance with the food. Overall, an otherwise delicious meal was soured by the long wait times and the uncomfortable atmosphere. Would recommend ordering takeout over dining in. read more

Nice atmosphere and great service. Lots of options and delicious pizzas! Different from the usual, highly recommend!

Great pizza!!! Great service!! The peppers on the pepperoni pie were the perfect punch of heat to complement the light crust! We did carry out but I will definitely dine in next time. Seemed like a great atmosphere! read more

10/10 great vibes great food. The dough is perfect- chewy but crisp at the same time. We went on a Friday night and they had a DJ playing and we didn't realize until a few minutes in it was someone from our favorite Cleveland band (Mourning a BLKstar). Very hip ambience inside. They have a back patio that is very casual with picnic tables and family friendly if vibes aren't your jam read more

This place reminds me of home - it's like they transplanted a modern pizza restaurant from Soho or the Lower East Side to Cleveland. Let me start by saying I've traveled to many states and many hours in search of the best pie. There isn't a better pie west of NY (even then I'm not sure it isn't better/hold its own). Easily the best dough/crust anywhere. This crust is heavily charred but not burnt; crunchy outer layer with a perfectly cooked center. This is the foundation for any great pie. I had the Mr. White on my first trip there and I've had white pies all over the country and this is the best I've ever had! The owner is here creating what can only be categorized as witchcraft (cooking amazing pies) with a very modern/hipster vibe. The music that evening was incredible (although not for people adverse to curse words). Everything is so well thought out and we will be back at least once a week! read more

Another solid neopolitan pizza spot in cleveland! Equal to vero in quality in my opinion. The pizzas come out quick in their hot oven. Relatively limited seating inside and can get crowded. They offer takeout as well. The pepperoni was LOADED, big fan. read more

Delicious! Addicting! Perfect atmosphere! I love Cent's. Everything I've eaten there is of very high quality.

This was such a great meal! We came here at 5pm on a Friday, and we were the first ones in! Get here early, because by 5:30/6, it was pretty packed. The vibe is trendy with lots of old school vintage items for decor, and the staff is super friendly! There are a good selection of beers on tap and in cans that you can peruse in a fridge before you select one. We started with the wonder bread and the stracciatella. The bread is so wonderfully puffy and chewy, and it goes great with that cheese. For the pies, we got the Mr.White with red pepper flakes and red onions, and we got the Sunday gravy with pepperoni. Both pizzas were really good. The crust is thin, crisp, and not greasy. The Mr.White was probably our favorite of the 2, but we loved how crispy they got the pepperoni on the Sunday gravy! We thought the price for all of that food was also very reasonable, especially considering the quality! Overall, we were impressed and thought this was some of the best pizza we've had in Cleveland. We'll definitely be back! read more

Fun atmosphere and some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. Would definitely go again the next time we're in Cleveland.

This place is making the best pizza in Cleveland and probably all of Ohio and possibly in the entire Midwest. Their dough recipe is godly. The wonderbread is one of the best things I've ever eaten. Pair it with the stracciatella for the best cheesy bread of your life. Every time I take a bite I say, "how is this so f**king good?!" When I eat here, I feel like I'm eating at a 5-star restaurant without any of the snobby/yuppie vibes that generally go hand-in-hand with fine dining. The dining is very casual but the interior design is elevated in a cool way to let you know you're about to get awesome food. Some people may even say, "iTs a vIBe!!!" it is though so they're not wrong. The people that work here are so incredibly nice and accommodating. They were really busy (Friday night) and no one seemed stressed or in a bad mood at all. Must be the result of working for/with cool people and most likely paying their employees well! The timing of our salad, bread, and pizza coming out was still perfect! If you think this place is "too hipster" for you: get over it - we all know hipsters make the best food. Would people call me a hipster? Probably yes. Or even worse, a "foodie" *cringe* Bottom line: everything here is good. Food, drinks, appetizers, and they even have nice wines, olive oils, magazines, apparel, and other goods to buy up front. There is not a single item in the restaurant that is low quality. Everything is of the highest quality and is clearly curated by people with great taste for food, drinks, design, overall aesthetic, and probably just awesome people in general. This place deserves national recognition and I won't be surprised if it starts getting it. read more

Cent’s - White pizza add sausage and the pepperoni as is. - Pizza Near Me - Cleveland, Ohio

The white pizza is incredible! Was in town from Columbus and been looking forward to trying this pizza for awhile. Did not disappoint!

I saw pics of Cent's online and thought the cute retro vibe was unmissable. I was not disappointed! The thin crust pizza was tasty with fresh toppings. The char was a little more than I prefer, but the vibe and cute patio made up for it. Do not miss the wonder bread. It's fluffy and salty and amazing. The butter alone is worth going for. I saved what was left to put on the pizza crust! The cocktail selection wasn't amazing (for my tastes) but they had some great beers. Definitely will be back again. read more

The pizza dough appetizer/snack was phenomenal as were the olives, pickled veggies, and mozzarella dipping sauce. Excellent service! The Papa, Mr White, Sunday Gravy and Pepperoni were outstanding pizzas. The outdoor seating area was great for kids. This is some of the best pizza you are going to get in town. Most of the pizza in Cleveland is overfilled, doughy garbage, but this is something completely different and delicious. Whoever is making the pizza knows exactly what they're doing. The salad I got was huge and also very tasty. The design of the space is awesome. I can't say enough good things about this place. Cents got a good write-up recently in the "Plain Dealer," but we were disappointed. The Shroom pizza, we must say, was great, with wonderful flavor and a very thin, crisp crust, but it was $22 for a 12" pizza (our favorite place is about that price for a 16"). The Deep House Salad ($12) was advertised as containing endive, frisee, cilantro, dill, coriander, and aleppo, but we saw and tasted nothing but a large mound of the frisee; no cilantro, no endive, no dill, no coriander, no aleppo. The PD write-up said Cents offers bottles of wine at much less than usual restaurant prices; when we asked for a wine list, we were told that they had a French white blend and a Bordeaux; we were not told a price, but were charged $15/glass, for a fairly good wine, which we thought was inappropriately high. We had house-made tiramisu for dessert; it was delightfully cocoa-y, but had no coffee or liqueur flavor at all and was too moist. The bill totaled $88 for two people, plus tip; we felt that was way too much for the dinner we had. Oh yes, and very loud music was playing, a mirror ball was spinning red lights around the room, and we sat on backless stools, none of which helped the experience. On the good side, our server was very efficient and attentive. read more
