I went here for a late dinner. After we got sat we waited over 15 minutes for a server to even come to the table. Right as I went to stand up and leave, she didn't apologize she just slapped water down on the table and asked if we were ready to order. I didn't see her coming so it was a little off putting. Beyond the very slow service, the food is really high quality. We got the salsiccia alla Gianni and the Bianca dolce. Both were very good. I loved the caramelized onions and hot honey combo on the Bianca dolce. For the restaurant itself, It is spacious and wasn't too loud, but they still do put tables pretty close together which can be hard to navigate. I might get takeout from crostatas again but I am unsure if I would dine in the restaurant.

Came for my friend's birthday because we'd heard from an Italian native that Crostata's is the most authentic pizza in Cleveland. We were not disappointed! We came with a large group which was fun because we got to sample multiple pizzas. They were all delicious but my favorite was the pesto - the pesto tasted homemade and was so fresh and delicious. You can't go wrong with any pizza order. Our server was lovely and our food came out quick. Definitely a great spot to come with a date or a group of friends!

The caprese salad looked delish. Generous amount of mozzarella but sadly the tomatoes were not great ... needed more time. They were so hard it was hard to cut. We shared a mushroom pizza from wood oven. It was delish. Some fancy tomato sauce that wasnt as tart or acidic. The reason for coming is the cannoli... perfect and very crispy shell. The place is very cute if I lived closer I'd come here alot.

This place was a hidden gem! The inside was beautiful, and service was great. The pizza, salad and breadsticks were excellent as well. Pizza was woodfired and made fresh. As vegetarians, there were plenty of options available. We called ahead and reserved, as the place was packed on a summer Friday evening. We personally weren't a fan of the fried artichoke, but it may have been our preference. Would definitely recommend and return

A really wonderful spot for a neopolitan style pizza. It's super cozy inside and the staff always makes you feel welcome. I've been here a couple times and have tried a few of the pizzas. my favorite is probably the pesto with bufala mozz. The pesto is soo flavorful. I've also tried the classica and norma, which were both delicious as well. The bufala cheese is one of my fav toppings so would recommend it, although sometimes they run out of it. the menu has several vegetarian options as well.

After trying several items on the menu including the pizza, crostatas is a favorite go to stop. Truly authentic Italian. The apps were delicious and perfectly prepared especially the Burrata! The pizza is totally unique with a thin, flour covered crust and light flavors. Not heavy on the cheese, the pesto chicken is a go to with fresh pesto and strips of seasoned chicken, but the bianca is my favorite! The pizza warms up even better the second time for leftovers. This time I got the ravioli, the ricotta was some of the best I had and the entire meal is fresh and filling. Portion sizes are great, the meatball is a must add! However, the desserts are the best part. The hands down best tiramisu in Cleveland. The blueberry cheesecake was a delicious surprise with a perfect fluff and savory crust. Extremely flavorful and truly authentic.

Food is just ok and should be delicious for the prices. Service is so slow. The hostess at the front was rude. I would go elsewhere.

It doesn't seem friendly to outsiders. I felt uncomfortable. There were many cars in the parking lot.

He said the special was chicken parmigiana so I thought I'd try it. He brought us a very nice bread with a tasty butter and olive oil mix. I ordered the chopped salad that I absolutely loved! There were lives of cauliflower, different types of olives and a pickled red onion that wasn't over bearingly strong. The chicken parmigiana was tasty. Two patties if chicken over fettuccini. I noticed on the way out that eggplant parmigiana was also a special. I might've had that if I'd known. I will definitely come back on a Tuesday to try the eggplant. I might also come back to try their pizza. Nice place. Give it a try!!!

If you didn't know better and walked in the first time, you'd say, "This looks like a BBQ spot!" Of course, it was. Hanging a few doilies and Italian aperitif posters doesn't help. The delicate and frankly, pretty dishes are disconcerting against the rough and tumble tables and chairs place you in the wrong mindset. It just doesn't work. My Bolognese Cavatelli was very good, but my wife felt the Eggplant Parmigiana was simply a cheesy clump, the skin tough and stringy. An excellent bread service goes in the win column. Unfortunately, this was like eating quenelles and lobster on a paper plate washed down with Champagne in a plastic flute.

Right in the middle of dinner, every single phone in the room went off at the same time with a tornado warning. You could feel the shift for a second--everyone looking around, trying to figure out what was happening--and then shortly after, the lights went out. No candles, no backup lighting, just a room full of people sitting together in the dark, lit by phone screens, laughing and taking it all in. (Yes, we got a picture--because how could you not?) What stood out immediately was how calm everything remained. There was no chaos, no confusion, and no sense of panic. The staff handled it with a level of professionalism and composure that honestly impressed all of us. And that's where Noah deserves real recognition. Noah went above and beyond in a way that you just don't see every day. When we asked what the plan was if things escalated, he didn't brush it off--he made sure we knew exactly what would happen and reassured us that we would be taken care of and moved safely to the kitchen if needed. That level of awareness, communication, and care made a huge difference in the moment. Now let's talk about the food--because even without the storm story, this place stands on its own. Everything was excellent. The salads were fresh and well-prepared, the meals were flavorful and clearly made with care, and the overall quality across the table was consistent. You can tell this is a restaurant that has built its reputation over time and continues to deliver. The atmosphere also deserves a callout. There's something about this place that feels genuinely personal. The family photos throughout the restaurant--even in the bathrooms--gave it a warmth that's hard to describe but instantly recognizable. It reminded me of my Nana and Papa, that kind of nostalgic, comforting feeling that you don't often get in restaurants anymore. And somehow, even sitting in the dark during a tornado warning, that feeling didn't go away--it actually made it stronger. That says everything. End result: * Incredible, high-quality food * Exceptional, thoughtful service (huge shoutout to Noah and the team) * A warm, authentic, family-style atmosphere * A once-in-a-lifetime dinner experience we'll never forget Amazing experience--lights or not. If you're in the area, go. And if something unexpected happens while you're there, just know--you're in good hands. Would absolutely come back.
