Lil Ronnie's is a great place to get a slice right in Tremont! We ordered a slice with an arugula pesto and it was good--but a little bit too salty for my taste. But service was quick and everyone was friendly!

Such a stellar opening. I wasn't sure anything could replace Edison's in my heart (RIP please come back to another brick and mortar), but Lil Ronnie's has really shown out. Whereas at Il Rione, you have to wait a long time to sit down and get your pie, at Lil Ronnie's you walk in and can walk out with a slice in a few minutes. The holy grail slice you can get right now is the pepperoni with hot honey on it. The mix of the grease from the pepperoni with the spicy honey is practically an aphrodisiac. Runner up goes to the white pie with the pesto on top. The real MVP is the service though - so delightfully pleasant and efficient.

Pepperoni Slice

Stopped by for a slice of Pepperoni on a Saturday around 4:30pm. No line. Only had to wait less than 5 mins for the slice to be warmed up. Nice thin and crispy crust. It sure was delicious!

This is literally a hole in the wall place that has the best pizza in town. Located in Tremont. It seriously lacks nothing. The pizza sauce is paved with flavor and the crust is perfect. I love how crispy the crust is. I highly recommend this spot.

Professor street in Tremont

I found Lil Ronnie's via the Too Good to Go Program. It's awesome to have a reasonably priced pizza by the slice place in Tremont. They are on Professor right down the street from the historic Saint John Cantius Church. Finding GREAT value for the money and an Outstanding product is a golden combination.

Lil Ronnie's is a 10/10 pizza spot in Cleveland. The location is prime on Professor Ave where you can walk up to grab a slice and walk around Tremont. They always have slices available and you can order a full pie (when available). The white pizza is my favorite - it has ricotta cheese and lots of garlic; it's phenomenal! I've always been served extremely quickly but I know it can get busy sometimes. It's right next to Edison's Pub so you can walk in for a slice then grab a drink next door. I love that it's a little walk-up pizza shop with a really cool atmosphere. Stop in next time you're in Tremont!

Tiny take out place serving decent New York style pizza at a fair price. They have an agreement with Edison's Pub next door where you can bring your pizza and sit down to eat. Service is fast and the slices are fresh/decently sized so Lil Ronnie's is definitely worth a stop if you want a quick bite.

White pizza with pesto and white pizza with hot honey drizzle!!

Okay!! So m a huge huge huuuuuuuuggeeee fan of Il Rione and when I heard they were opening up bang next door to Edisons I can't tell you the excitement I had!! Infact I've been so excited that I've eaten a few times since they opened and have never waited to click a pic of the pizza so I can post it here (glutton as charged - get the pun). But but but... I did manage to take a pic one time last week (phew..IKR) before I devoured it down in a jiffy would be an understatement but honestly I love love love their pizzas! They're are by far the best pizzas I've had in Cleveland!! So I usually get the cheese ones but this time I got 2 white slices one with hot honey and the other with pesto! Pesto on a white pizza - bad idea (atleast for me), cos it got too rich on the palate esp when ricotta meets olive oil but was it delicious - you betcha!!!! Thank God I had it last cos I couldn't eat a bite after I finished that one! I guess pesto on a regular margarita or cheese is cool cos the acidity of the tomato cuts through the richness of pesto! Oh but the Hot honey drizzle yum yum yummmmmaayyyyyy!!! So Hot Honey on the white pizza is my new favorite way of pizza-ing!! Overall loving my new pizza neighbours.

Solid slice of pizza. It's not up to the same standard as the parent restaurant, Il Rione, but it's still a very good pie.

Coming into the store there was a cute counter by the window if you did decide to sit inside and eat. We came all the way from Kent for the pizza and wanted to try a slice before we left for home so my boyfriend ate a slice in the parking lot really quick. An employee (possibly the owner) came out with napkins and offered us to sit inside. We declined as we had to leave but the man graciously went inside and brought us out cold water bottles for our drive home! It was such a thoughtful gesture. Now onto the pizza. It was delicious! We ordered a regular pepperoni pizza and the white Neapolitan style pizza. It wouldn't let me add pineapple to my pizza online, which was fine because it didn't need it, the pizza was so good! My boyfriend loved his pepperoni pizza and I also enjoyed my Neapolitan style white pizza. It had a great garlicky flavor and was crispy on the crust. Will definitely be back to try the margarita pizza next! So if you're looking for a great pizza with hospitality I recommend coming to Joe De's!

It reminds me of my trip to Italy! I didn't care for the motz sticks personally, tasted like a funnel cake to me haha. The wings were okay. The onion rings were tasty! The garlic bread was tasty too! I wish they had a few better salad options personally. The employee (and I assume owner?) is SO warm and welcoming, treating you like an old friend. I LOVE THIS PLACE !

I went to Yelp and found Angelo's, which wasn't far from where we were, so I placed an order for pick up. We got a large cheese, a large pepperoni, a medium half cheese/half pep, and two salads. Let me tell ya, that was plenty! When I arrived this place was pretty poppin for a Thursday at 1pm. Clearly they draw in the lunch crowd. It only took one bite into my slice of pizza and I understood why. The crust was pillowy and chewy, the sauce was sweet but just the right amount, and the amount of cheese was perfect. We got a side of ranch and it just added even more awesomeness to the bite. The salads were pretty large, but it would have been nice if they cut the veggies up a little more. There were full sized baby carrots thrown in there which were impossible to cut with the plastic utensils we got. I would hands down order from here if I lived in Cleveland. They would likely be a rotating option for me. Hell, I wish I could have some right now.

The wings were great and juicy. The pizza's crust was amazing. It was buttery and had a hit of a focaccia bread. Waitstaff was attentive. I will definitely come back. Just not on a Monday.

If you check out my reviews, you'll see that I've sampled pizzas in more than one state and more than one country, including Italy. I've sampled many types of crusts and sauces. While the crust here is fine (not the best), the sauce is repulsive. My daughter said "Dad, this area is heavily populated with people from Eastern Bloc countries," to which I responded "If they like their pizza sweet, so be it. But I certainly don't." I understand that there are plenty of pizza styles, including the Greek version, which includes cinnamon on occasion. Yuck. This place is called Napoleon's Pizza, and they claim to conquer pretty much everything, from your pizza craving to the whole town of Parma. Indeed, Napoleon was an Italian dude who was born in France. His conquering skills were excellent, until his greed resulted in the deaths of thousands of soldiers who froze to death. All of that to say, I might've named this place Napoli's Pizza (since Napoli is the birthplace of the pizza we know today). But the sweet sauce here is an abomination, so maybe 'Napolean's' is more appropriate after all.

That's how I came across Edison's Pizza, which had some great reviews. We ordered a large sausage and pepperoni, and the pickup time was about an hour. Not sure if that's typical, but it wasn't a big deal for us that day. Finding the place, however, was its own adventure. Google Maps couldn't locate it at first, then pulled up a different location. After a little trial and error, we finally figured out the pizza shop is actually inside a grocery store. Strange setup, but we eventually found it--and honestly, it was worth both the wait and the free scavenger hunt. The pizza itself was excellent. Great ratio of ingredients, not thin crust and not deep dish--soft in the center with a crispy, crunchy edge. It does come in on the higher side at nearly $30 for a large, but considering the quality and flavor, the value is still there. A fun find with great pizza, even if the journey to get it is part of the experience.
