Ordered pizza and sides for the family through Uber eats that was to be picked up by me. Uber driver sees the large order on his/her screen and shows up and steals the food. Found out this is a thing that happens often at restaurants. That being said the Casamels manager would not replace the order because it wasn't their fault. I the customer was not at fault either. The food was stolen from them and not me. I nicely explained that they should want to please the customer and not alienate. We've always enjoyed their food. Just thought they could have stepped up and replaced the stolen food instead of sending me home empty handed. I wasn't about to double up and spend the money again. My son says never go back. The pizza is amazing but wow delivery was way behind tonight.. ordered pizza at 6:34pm with a delivery projection of about 45min to 1hr... let's just say our pizza didn't arrive until 9:02pm. I called to check in at 8:12 to check the status of our pizza and we were told the driver had car issue and had left with our delivery... called back 2 min later and offered to pick the pizza up. We were assured that it would be here within 30 min and that food was fresh. Manager stated it takes 7min for pizza to go through oven and then coming straight here.. clerk stated it's already on the way.... I went into cozumel's pizza and these people knocked my socks off gave me great service at the door made things flexible for me payment. Maddy , and everyone else on the night shift gave, above average service and and a quality product the only downside is that there was no bathroom for customers, and no juice or tea option to drink, but if you're not hung up on that and you like a quality product or quality service this is the place to go thanks for a great experience. read more

Tonight's our last night in CLE on this trip. We really wanted some authentic Cleveland pizza. The kind we used to get before all the chains took over, Like we had growing up here. We searched through Yelp, found Casamel's and ordered a supreme and some wings. They did not disappoint. First, the crust was just right, medium thickness with crispy edges. Not like that cardboard you get in NY. All of the toppings were great especially the sausage. It was in chunks not crumbles. The wings were perfect with the C-town rub. I wish we could get this pizza in FL. Next time we are in town we will be back. read more

Casamel's Pizza supplied the first meal in my new house in Old Brooklyn. The person who took my order was friendly and allowed us to just barely eek in an order for delivery before they stopped delivery for the night. Earlier than we anticipated, a classic cheese pie arrived at our door step piping hot. I especially loved the sauce, which was both sweet and deeply tomato-y. Ordered for take out a large pepperoni pizza and 2 sides of JOJOs total cost of food 25 bucks. Staff super friendly and helpful. While waiting 2 pick ups and 3 in person orders came in. While in the rush my food was placed pending pick up area. Which prolonged my waiting time but not by anything outrageous. Pizza was good sauce was seasoned nicely the cheese did the job and the pepperoni was crisp but not over cooked. The crust was very basic nothing amazing nothing bad just your average crust. Yesterday 9/4/24 about 3:30pm my grandma called regarding catering for my little cousins benefit for a kidney donation. Whoever answered the phone was extremely rude from the beginning. She politely asked for a manger to discuss catering (we're looking about 150 people so we were ready to spend money with the establishment). The person who answered the phone said "What do you need a manger for." My grandma then explained the benefit and catering size we are inquiring for. Then the employee said "you're going to need a lot of food," then proceeded to hang the phone up!! Not only are you missing out on a huge order to bring money to your business but now you also lost a full family that regularly orders from this establishment. Extremely disappointing! read more

Had a recent meal from this spot, delivered to my house and was quite impressed! We had a DoorDash mix-up on our pizza, so I'll have to reserve that review for another time...but we did get our chicken parmesan dinner and it really hit the spot! The chicken parm was hearty and tasty. Their red sauce is slightly spicy, very thick and had a heavy vinegar component. The accompanying garlic bread was slightly crispy on the outside and spongy throughout. The side salad was basic iceberg lettuce with some sliced cucumber, tomato and shredded mozzarella cheese...it came with a Newman's golden Italian dressing. For the price, the portion size and quality of the meal were well worth it...just gotta get that pie next time! ;-) read more

Tucked in a small shopping mall on Broadview Rd, Casamel's Pizza is a must try. This is easily one of the better pizza shops in the area. Ordered for delivery and was impressed with how quick the pizza was made and delivered. Due to the quick delivery the cheese on the pizza was a little all over the place but it didn't take anything away from how fresh and crisp the pizza was. This place saved us from disaster. My buddy had a surprise 50th birthday party for his wife. Days in advance he placed a huge order at another pizza place that somehow said someone picked up & paid for his order. So a surprise party w no food basically was going to happen. We called around and around to see who could fill a large pizza, joe joes, salad and all the extra fixings for a party about 25-30 people in less than 2 hours. Not one pizza place could do that.....except Casamel's. They said they would have it ready in that amount of time. They bent over backwards on a busy Saturday to help the surprise party go off without an issue. Food was great and fresh. I would absolutely order from them again. It may not look like much when you drive by this place but holy delicious food Batman their pizza and other food is incredibly amazing here. I have had their pizza which is a little on the expensive side (you get what you pay for though am I right?) and their white sauce is great and the crust is so good which by the way I'm not much of a crust eater. However I wish they'd put a little more sauce on their pizza sometimes. I guess it just depends on who is making it. Their JoJos are yum-o! Always hot and delish. My boyfriend enjoys their Italian subs which are made great with lots of toppings. I am a sucker for their chicken tenders and honey mustard. Seriously one of the best things from ANY pizza place. I am pretty sure this is where The Child (or Baby Yoda that so many of you wrongly call him) got his love for "chiccy nuggies!" If you just want a standard large cheese pizza, it's honestly pretty meh in my opinion. It tasted bland and over-done. The cheese was not light and melty, but dark and overcooked. The cheese fell right off the pizza, because there was way too much sauce, which as a result the pizza ended up being soggy and doughy. The crust sucked. I also ordered bread sticks and those were also over-cooked and tasted like cardboard. Pretty disappointing considering the reviews and some pictures.
