Fast and convenient after a night out. Open late- really the only option open past midnight / 1 am. Have never been disappointed. Not saying it's the best but definitely no where near the bottom. Would recommend!

I dropped in to give this place a try because I would sometimes run orders and I've have gotten quite a bit from this place and It always smells so good when I pick up an order so I had to try it I love pizza so yeah had to it's a nice little spot in lakewood the employee that I always see amd ends up handing me my orders is pretty nice always polite the pizza was good also they are open late which is a good thing if your looking for some pizza I would recommend giving it a try if your around this area or just looking for pizza in general.

Tasty, basic, hand-tossed thin crust pizzas and wings. Open late and serves slices (earlier). Don't let the stars fool you. This is a general pizza joint and when requiring late night eats, it gets the job done. Their "jumbo" chicken wings can be construed as expensive being the way they charge them. It's by the pound and they go into detail to discuss that a pound can contain varying sizes of chicken wings. I just wished they looked jumbo.

I was sooooo looking forward ordering a pizza here. The end. Okay, kinda the end, but to help you out I'll say more. The reviews here and other places raved about this new pizza place. I've been on a search for a stand-out westside pizzeria but the search continues. This shop is 1.5 miles from my house and it was delivered, as promised, in just under an hour. I'm learning pizza places who don't do their own delivery often arrived cold or at least not hot. They have no means of insulating the box to hold the heat. Hence, tonight's veggie pizza was very meager. I ordered it as it came but it had a very vinegary flavor from the pickled peppers. The cheese either because it wasn't hot or because there was so little cheese there was none of that warm, cheesy pizza we all crave. And where was that NY style pizza sauce? The veggies were unimpressive, too. The crust had no real flavor, no crispy texture, and overall the pizza was soggy-ish. I thought this was going to be a pizza I'd rave about as the best ever. Instead, it was a "meh"' experience. I'll move on. I don't expect to order here again. A waste of money and unlikely this place be around for long. So sad because I wanted it to be amazing! So far, it's Dewey's for the win. And Angelo's if you want a deep dish.

Toni's Pizza is the best NY style pizza I've found in Ohio yet! Only here for less than 6 months I'm so glad I found this hidden gem. It's owned and operated by Toni himself and you can taste the difference in the pizza made here. After searching for and finding the place I'd order pizza from, I placed a call and put my order in. It was easy and quick and pizza was ready in 20 minutes. I chose to pick up so I could see the location and learn more about this new pizza spot. They also offer delivery, and they are open till 4 am!!! They even have more than just pizza! Burgers and wings are on the menu also, as well as subs. For desert lovers, the cheesecake is out of this world! We ordered the cheesy bread and an 18" pepperoni pizza. Prices here are great and the quality is above and beyond. First the cheesy bread was sooo tasty and their marinara paired with it just had my taste buds singing. The pepperoni pizza had me feeling like I was back in NY enjoying a slice. So happy I stumbled across this and took a chance. Top of my list for future pizza nights!

Far to often you hear monikers like New York style pizza and Chicago style pizza. This establishment deserves the headline NEW YORK style pizza in cleveland that is right don't "forget bout it!" "It's mor den aight" ;). The pizza is truly a thin foldable slice with the perfect amount of cheese, pepperoni and grease. Cut into huge slices. Enjoy the pizza from New York with out the smell and crowds of the city.

Pepperoni pizza ( ate portion of it was delicious)

I ordered two 14 inch pizzas. One pepperoni & the other only cheese and they were delicious. I forgot to take pictures beforehand but still feel the need to add pictures. Very neat and delicious food. Came hot and fresh . I couldn't be more happier.

Open late! Might be the only place in Lakewood open past 2:30. Inviting staff and waiting space.

Pro Tip: Heated patio available…read more I stopped by at Tutti Frutti Mix after so much social media hype. The place was just ok, nothing amazing. No aspect of it especially impressed me. Just a little laidback eatery. The eatery is located in West Park with street parking (complicated to find parking). This cozy spot blends savory Mediterranean flavors with indulgent dessert options (crepes with various toppings). The entrance is through covered heated patio that has cute flowers hanging from the ceiling. The outdoor area has a lot of tables. Inside has only a few booths, and a lot of Nutella buckets. The latter is fun! I ordered my order to go but peeked inside the boxes before leaving. Gyro Sandwich with fries (extra charge) had a lot of meat, but was very light on the sauce. Fries were too salty and over-fried. It wasn't the best gyro that I experienced. I also ordered pistachio crepe with strawberry and Nutella. The crepe was made to order and you could watch the prep process. I'm pretty sure this crepe was Dubai chocolate inspired but it had very faint pistachio taste which dulled it. It had too much chocolate and was ok. There were also ice cream choices but I didn't try them. I had much better Middle Eastern food in the area. Food order was made quickly though which was a plus. Think of it as Middle Eastern fast food. The place had signs that if you ask for your food to go then dine in, there's a special $4 charge. The place was pretty busy considering it was Saturday a little after 9 PM. The service wasn't too friendly. I had to repeat my order multiple times and the response was - "what?" Just wasn't warm or welcoming. Overall, I'd recommend this place only if you're in the area and coming home from the bars. It's open late, which is clutch if you're craving something sweet and savory after hours.

Located in Lakewood, parking is on the street. The shop has an insulated and heated indoor patio as well as a few booths inside the actual shop. The location specializes in shawarma, as well as crepes, Belgian waffles, and ice cream, and Dubai Chocolate. The first time we came here, my husband and I split the Lotus Crepe and a Belgian waffle with fresh strawberries, Nutella and white chocolate with Oreo ice cream. Both desserts were excellent and decadent but we both enjoyed the crepe the best. The next week we came back and again split a Lotus crepe with lotus ice cream and a fudge cake crepe. Again, both were excellent but we still liked the lotus crepe the best. Both times we asked about the Dubai chocolate and both times they were sold out. This place is worth the drive to enjoy these unique and delicious desserts. I did ask, and all food in their entire restaurant is Halal with the exception of one ice cream flavor that has marshmallows in it. They also carry specialized coffee drinks and Turkish coffee. Give this place a try on your next date night or night out with friends or family. There is something for everyone and everything is great!

We went there today for the first time. It's a small place with a few tables and comfortable chairs to sit and relax with a cup of Rising Star coffee. A single counter at the back of the room clearly displays the days offerings. I couldn't help but try their stuffed grape leaves, zucchini balls, and rice pudding. All of it looked marvelous. Can't wait to get home to try it all. The owner, a very pleasant and helpful woman, explained everything to us without hesitation as we asked question after question. If you long for Greek bakery, or just any bakery, give them a look-see. FYI... update: I just had everything I purchased for dinner. It was FANTASTIC!!! I'm definitely going back.

Maybe I am biased--I am Greek after all--but I believe that also makes me uniquely qualified to declare this is about as close as it gets to having a little Greece in your own backyard. The location is warm and inviting, decorated with the trappings you might expect were you to walk into an Athens "kaphenio." Despina is always kind an inviting, and it's one of the few locations in the city you can get authentic Greek coffee drinks However, the real star, of course, is the food. My favorites are bougatsa (a custard pie topped with cinnamon) and the classic spanakopita, which Despina has mastered (in fact, it's even better than what you are likely to find in Greece!). Although the location is titled a "bakery," they don't stop at just pastries however--authentic Greek salad, soups, and casseroles are usually available also and are equally fantastic. I especially recommend "pastitso" and "avgolemono." One final note--catering is another fantastic option. We used Despina to cater a number of graduation parties, and everything we ordered was delicious (too many items to really include in this review) but of special note was how responsive and accommodating to our requests. I could write all day long about how much I love this location...but I would rather spend my time eating there!

Pro Tip: Visit to get a pic by their cool Lakewood mural inside the store…read more Walking into Burning River Coffee was a bit like stumbling into a local secret - a combo of smoke shop and coffee shop. The front is unassuming, and this combo isn't something you see every day, but somehow, it works... or at least, it's interesting enough to give it a shot. I visited the coffee shop side while working nearby (walking distance) at the co-working center (Icon Cowork). I ordered the red eye. Honestly? It delivered. It wired me for days. It was extremely strong and not well crafted (too much, definitely not barista made). But boy did it do its job. While at the coffee shop, I noticed a small menu of other drinks and no baked goods in the case. It just really had the basics. Service was very quick. The barista (who worked both sides of the house) was nice enough, but the vibe was more transactional than inviting. Not rude, just kind of indifferent. The space had enough tables to sit at and very quiet atmosphere. One thing I couldn't ignore was the scent of vape juice hanging in the air. It didn't bother me personally, but I can see how that could be a turn-off if you're expecting more of a traditional coffee shop aesthetic. Of note is that both sides of the business have the same entrance. They're working on dividing the space into two separate ones according to my quick chat with the employee. Currently the coffee shop has no age restrictions while the smoke shop is 21+. Overall? Burning River Coffee is quirky and good for a simple cup of coffee. It's not a textbook coffee shop experience -- it's its own thing. Just don't expect the usual indie-coffeehouse playlist and aesthetic. Expect something unexpected and different.
