I ordered from "Pizza by Robert" solely because they were in Cleveland pizza week this year. I ordered at 11am, for 5pm pick up order. It's a pizza shop in a small shopping strip, I drove 50 mins to get their "house special" it was so worth it, I also got a Gluten free pizza because my wife has an allergy, she loved it took 2 pcs to work the next day, my 2 daughters are picky, but the small I ordered, was gone. The inside is just a pizza shop, no frills, no dine in, no where to sit, order and pick up. They were very nice and the young girl who I spoke with said they have been in business for 30years, well before she was born as she put it. Anyone who lives in westlake or neighboring Avon would do well by not ordering from a chain, and doing this place a solid by ordering from them! read more

I was charged twice for a pizza. I ordered and paid for the pizza on the phone. My daughter picked up the pizza and was charged again. A couple of days later, I stopped by the store and explained to one of the co-owners what had happened. He said he'd look into it and call me. He never called. A week later, I called to describe what happened and was told I'd be called back. No one has called, so I've disputed one of the charges. read more

Robert's is always a sure thing for perfectly baked, juicy, cheesy traditional pizza. You will need extra napkins but they are with it. The menu has all of the expected, traditional pies but there are also a few unexpected pizzas that are all worth trying. On the surface it may seem a little pricey. Had again yesterday, had the buffalo chicken pizza, it had the kick you wanted, it gave me the heat/burn I was looking for but not enough that you had to stop eating the pizza. First time checking out Pizza by Robert but won't be my last! When I stepped inside I could tell I was in for a treat.. a pizza place that has survived long enough to look like a classic spot speaks for itself, especially in this day and age. I ordered the deep dish house special and a medium Hawaiian - $32! I don't remember the last time I paid that little for a deep dish and then some. My first bite immediately brought me back to my childhood- classic pizza sauce, crust buttery and just right (without half the pizza being an air pocket!) and just delicious. Both pizzas were great.. I'd say the deep dish was more pan style than deep dish (Chicago style). The ingredients were very fresh- enough to really notice! Great service to boot.. thank you- we'll be back! read more

Pizza By Robert is the best pizza on the west side of Cleveland. We ordered it last night and got several pies and each were delicious. Delivered quickly and efficiently. We spend time in several locations across the country every year and I miss this pie when we're not in residence here! I wonder if they would ship it overnight with dry ice so I could bake it fresh! I really like the pizza by robert. Eating it for years & years now. Very consistent. Nice deep dish crust, what is it corn meal or something on the bottom. Pizza people must know. Regular crust is good too. Unique sauce makes it great. Solid pie doesn't fall apart. I like it for my carry out go to Za. Who's from fairview PA reminds me of fox pizza den! Salads are meh, wings are typical baked chain type wings. Passable but I don't. My buddy Steve used to point this one out as pizza he didn't like & get papa Johns which to me is like jail house pizza. Not that I would know. It's great. People complain about it being greasy but I'm not feeling that. The meatball sub is hands down the best carry out type in town. Really great. Big meatballs melted cheese tangy sauce great roll. Pizza is good. Good crust as well. However, and this is a BIG however, I will never order from them again. Most of the time they don't answer the phone and that's all they do is carry out. I know, it makes no sense. For a while I thought they were out of business. And if they do answer they immediately put you on hold and never come back. It is THE worst run pizza joint of all time. Forget about delivery. We waited over an hour and a half. Of course the pizza was cold and we had to microwave it. This is a place where the owner doesn't care one bit about it's customers. Pizza by Robert is a long time takeout pizza joint in Westlake. It is family-run and delicious. The pan style pizza is very similar to Angelo's. I love how cheesy and toppings covered the pizza is. The crust is crispy. I normally order and adore a pepperoni and cheese with extra cheese. The sauce is a little bit sweet and savory. You can normally find coupons online. Service is good. The decor is a basic pizza spot with a few tables to dine in. It's moreso designed for takeout. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that sometimes the quality and taste varies. The pizzas pictured on Yelp look better than what we had in July & August, 2024. Both times, the pizzas were undercooked, cheese didn't have that nice crispy baked look and sauce was negligible. Pizza out of a grocery store freezer would have tasted better. We've been long-time customers of Pizza By Robert and when ownership changed earlier this year, we were happy the pizza recipe & baking method did not. I don't know if these last two times were just off days but, with plenty of other choices in the area, I'm not sure I want to take another chance on a lousy pizza. read more
