We stopped at McAllister's, my wife's second visit, my first. Both visits were five star rated. I ordered the Honey BBQ Pork Melt along with a Honey BBQ Spud. they forgot the sauce but that's nothing to complain about. I asked for some sauce, and they gave me more than I could use. My wife enjoyed a cup of Chicken Tortilla Soup along with a Spicy Southwest Chicken sandwich. As we head back to the area for appointments, McAlister's we will be visiting again! I'd also like to add; the restaurant is spotless along with the restroom. read more

I have visited your restaurant many times and have always appreciated the fresh variety your menu offers. However, I wanted to share concerns regarding two recent visits. On Sunday, May 10, 2026, I attempted to order a baked potato and was informed that the restaurant was out of potatoes. This has happened on previous visits as well, and we chose not to stay because the item I specifically wanted was unavailable. Wanting to give the location another opportunity, we returned on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at approximately 5:30 pm. Several employees saw us waiting at the counter but did not acknowledge us. Once again, we decided to leave due to the lack of service. These two experiences-limited menu availability and poor customer service-have been very disappointing. Additionally, we have noticed that several seating sections are consistently closed which limits available options for dining. I generally do not write reviews; however, we truly enjoy the fresh selections your restaurant offers, and I am hopeful that sharing this feedback may help improve service and ensure proper inventory levels. I am not requesting any compensation, nor would I accept it. My goal is simply to see this location improve, as recognizing an issue is often the first step toward resolving it. Sincerely, Angela read more

I have never visited this place. So I didn't know what to expect. I was greeted with a smile and welcome. I ordered a McCalister wrap and side of potato salad. And I was very pleased at the taste I rcvd from both. The potato salad was actually amazing. The wrap needed more honey mustard sauce on it. But the wrap still tasted very good. The place was clean inside and out. I will visit this place again. Prices were reasonable. read more

We ordered to-go and the food was good and fresh. The prices are a bit high as the negative and I can see some of the sandwiches when made on small bread vs subs is too small for the price. We ordered subs and portion sizes are larger but so is the price. 12" Italian is $15.99 and some of the side options do have an up charge (vs. included) so beware. Service was courteous and professional and restaurant was clean. Our larger order took about 10min. 4 stars as they missed our spear pickle on both of the 12" Italian subs and it's a little pricey. read more

Great service, the cashier was very attentive to taking our order, payed attention to my food allergies and relayed the information to her fellow colleagues. We sat down placed the order number on our table and food was delivered to our table. The restaurant was full therefore food took a little longer, completely understandable. The broccoli and cheese soup was cool not warm to hot. My husband loved the Italian sandwich. The ham and cheese sandwich was good, the ciabatta bread so fresh. The restaurant was well kept. The atmosphere was family oriented and the music they played was modern and inclusive. The servers were all so kind, smiles and just wanting to make your time there pleasant. They even came and picked up our empty plates and garbage. I was impressed that they had actual silverware. McCalisters is a go to for fresh always consistent health food options. Employees are always smiling and ready to help. Restaurant is always clean and food is great! Highly recommend read more

The sandwiches are ok, a little small and bland though. It's a bit strange that they bring them out on a plate but that's fine. I guess it just feels more like a restaurant with lots of tables and booths than a casual deli. The service is good though. There are better chain sandwich shops otherwise. read more

I have to say how I had been looking forward to McAlister's after my mom told me about them. I was finally able to get some and the food was really great. I had a choose two and chose to have a half a chicken club sandwich and half a veggie spud. Keep in mind if get the half of a spud is a pretty big serving size, I imagine the full one is even bigger. But all in all it was amazing and I will be back again when I'm able to. Can't wait to try other items they service. read more

Positives: Employees are friendly, food is prepared well and taste great, dinning room is mostly clean. Windows only have a few promotional signs blocking views out. Negatives: food is over priced, portions are too small for the price, the app frequently shows outdated promotions, rewards, and deals... even after closing, reopening and signing back in again. This location also has an alarm the beeps off and on throughout the dinning room a little more than half the time. Windows are only for light, they are too high to see out of. read more

The staff are super friendly and make it feel more like a restaurant. I think the person ringing up my order misheard me so I got the wrong sandwich. Switching it out once we realized was no problem. Their food is delicious! read more

Yummmm!! They have an excellent menu. Lots to choose from. This is a newer restaurant in Avon. Highly highly recommend. Way better than Panera as far as sandwiches and variety go. Highly recommend!! read more

Stopped in while running errands for a quick lunch. I have never heard of McAlister's and I am glad I tried it. They were pretty busy for a Wednesday afternoon. It must have been the lunch rush. I had the grilled cheese and it was so good. My mom loved the potato salad. The restaurant was very clean. They have people that are constantly running around to see if you need anything and they take your plates from the table. I will definitely be back. read more

Went there after a three year hiatus since we did not have a great experience - we actually let an email certificate from the restaurant expire or was so bad -- today was not better - had to send my steak back again /- after waiting over 35 minutes for our meals - Mind you it took them 20 minutes to get our salad to us! Never again - not at least for another 3 years! Hope you have better luck than us. read more

Stopped in on a Sunday and luckily just beat the lunchtime rush because while we were waiting for our order the line to the counter had backed up all the way to the door. Order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The place was clean and the food was good- as others have said, there's quite a bit of variety available on the menu. read more

My wife and I stopped in for dinner tonight and we were very disappointed with both of our meal's. I had a Grilled Chicken salad and the lettuce was not the freshest. I left a portion of the brown wilted lettuce for the staff to look at. My wife had a Choose Two and was also very disappointed with her 4 Cheese Melt portion size. It was not half a sandwich but more like a quarter sandwich with a half of tomato, not enough for a person to eat. Her meal was not worth the $ money we payed for it. We will not continue to come to the Avon Store again if this poor quality continues to be your standard! read more

Huge fan of their blt with avocado! Be mindful, a couple of times they've burnt the toast but are great at fixing when a mistake happens. The carrot cake is also super scrumptious! read more

First time trying the McAlister's that opened up in Avon. First time will be the last time. Customer service was not satisfactory, I was trying to decide between two soups while ordering and asked if I could try a sample so I could make my decision and she responded "we don't do that here." Other places like Zoup allow you to do that. So I picked the potato soup and sandwich. The soup was terrible and lacking in flavor. The sandwich was just as unimpressive, regular store bought thin bread with a few slices of meat! I can make a better sandwich at home!! With all the sandwich/deli options to choose from: Jimmy Johns, Jersey Mikes, Panera, etc I expect this business will not make it with terrible food and service and they will close if they cannot do better with service and improve their food read more

I have been here 3 times. My wife likes the baked potatoes with various toppings and soups. I enjoyed the sub sandwiches (Memphian) and the broccoli and cheddar soup. They are definitely on the expensive side of things but at least their quality is high so you are getting better than subway. read more

First time going was today. Online menu is what got us. We ordered a pick two, kids meal and full sandwich, oh and a large drink to split. Our bill was over $30. To me that's a lot for as little food as we received. The "full" sandwich was cut into 4 pieces but was served on normal size sandwich bread (toasted) rather difficult to eat but tasted good. I left still hungry after finishing my half sandwich and super small, cup of soup. I got the lasagna soup and there were no noodles in it??? Kids meal was fine, plenty big enough for our 3 yr old but came with no drink. read more

Got half of a sandwich for $11. A lot of bread & not enough meat. I'll make my own. Navigating the menu is frustrating. Whoever designs these needs to be more focused on items, descriptions & price. Less on trying to get emails & phone numbers to bother people with unwanted ads. MORONIC! read more

Went in thinking that this is would be another Subway or Firehouse grille style sandwich shop. Don't get me wrong both of those places are great for a sub. But I come to learn there is a big difference between a sub shop and a deli. The sandwich selection is similar to most places but the quality of meat seems to be above that normal. I ordered the horseradish, beef and cheddar with Ms. Vicki's BBQ chips and a sweet tea to wash it down. The other order was a choose two selection of pecan berry salad and chicken salad. The selections were excellent the mixture of meats, sauces, vegetables, and fruit blended well. I am definitely going back the portions were huge to the point that you could share a meal. You normally walk in to a place and every one yells hello when the door opens or the bell goes off. Here it is the same but the smiles are warm and genuine. This place has not been open long and they already have regulars. On our way out the manager is having a casual conversation with customers. They are very engaging and super friendly. Five star service. read more

Food is so delicious and fresh, returned for a second visit today :) Highly recommend!

Weak coned beef. Not a real deli. Would not recommend. Maybe ok for some other stuff.

Excellent choice of food. So far I've had two salads the Savannah and the crunchy Asian. Both were very good and the servings very ample. Staff were very attentive and stopped by our table on several occasions. read more

First time at a McAlister's. Had a salad with pecan, strawberry, blueberry and chicken. It was fantastic and so fresh. It was appropriately priced too. The service was great and friendly. Workers who smile and greet you and help you. I really enjoyed the food and their drinks are less than 2.00 which is amazing considering how much a restaurant usually charges. They have lemonade and teas besides soft drinks. It was a nice experience and I will be back. read more

The catered lunch was delicious and plentiful and sufficiently different from other sandwich caterers that the meeting attendees were delightfully surprised by the food and drink options.
