The baked chicken was so tender and juicy! Bacon wrapped meatloaf is worth driving an hour to eat! Her apple pie was one of the best I have ever had.... The crust was so flaky! But the Hoho cakeshould be illegal to serve, so moist and the chocolate topping! I will never forget this dessert. Thank you for such a fine meal!

We discovered Susie's Cafe around that time as well. Here's the main thing. It's small and fills up fast. So if every seat is taken you will wait. Servers are busy and a bit harried all the time. We were waiting for a table with another 2 ladies. Not with us. Just all waiting for a table. A 2 top opened and the staff assumed we were all together and didn't ask. We weren't. Just talking friendly as we were waiting. Finally we said something. The 2 ladies were seated. We the. We're seated about 5 mins later. I guess the moral is to ask. Don't assume. As mentioned it small. Food is diner and good. Breakfast all day. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, soup. Menu isn't huge but it has the good stuff. I got a wrap with chicken, bacon, peppers, cheese, onions they were out of fresh cut fries and it was only 12:30p. So I got hash browns. Food came out in about 10 mins or so. It was good portion. My wrap was supposed to be to be grilled and it wasn't. Nor was it wrapped well. I had to rewrap it. Contents were falling out. It was good though. Hash browns good too. The staff seemed harried and stressed. So I am cutting them some slack on the score. Food is good. Prices are decent. Staff is trying. A few things they could clean up. It's a mom and pop place. You will get a good meal. Just be aware.

Gyros are a family favorite and my daughter always gets the grilled chicken sandwich on croissant. The 4 stars is due to poor servers (not attentive or professional) and the restaurant seeming not as clean as it should be for a place they cook/serve food.

We parked around the corner on the street and upon arrival, we were told to seat ourselves. This place gives off diner vibes with friendly waitresses and older clientel. The menu offered a good variety. I requested Mountain Dew and my wife had water. I requested the cod dinner with a potato pancake. My wife requested the chicken sandwich with a side of home fries. About 10 minutes later, our food was delivered. It was hot and looked tasty. My potato pancake was delicious and I dipped it in the yummy sour cream. My cod was delicious! So were the french fries! My wife liked her chicken sandwich and gave me what she couldn't eat. She also gave me some of her hash browns. Her dinner was also very tasty. This is a solid diner and we'll stop in again if we're ever in this area. Very good food, very good service.

The food here is just low quality and poorly prepared. All 4 of us had some discontent. I expected this so I merely ordered small & simple.. egg sandwich on Rye w/ cheese. The bread was burnt and it was Wheat! It was made w/ a single egg and had I'm sure an American cheese single by the fact it had all melted and ran onto the plate. Quite a disgrace. In-law's poached eggs were over cooked & not runny at all. Wife's omelette was overcooked on the outside to point she had to eat out the center. Kids egg muffin had half the egg "disc" hanging out which got dried out & plasticized which became inedible. Obviously they can't cook eggs correctly. All of them got hash browns which were kinda burned in some spots then unbrowned on the rest. Plus there was only 1 other table in there yet it took about 16-17 mins. And then the poached eggs came out 5 mins after ours! So I was done w/ my sandwich before hers came out. Won't make a 4th mistake here!

The home fries are great (crispy) and they will add onions for an upcharge. I'm just a little bitter that they're still charging an extra $1.25 for egg dishes, long past the time when eggs were up to $5/dozen. They're less than $2/ dozen nowadays and they still are charging people extra. I asked a previous server about the egg upcharge and was told it's no long applicable. This was maybe 2 months ago. Today i went in and saw the upcharge on my bill and brought it to my (newish) server's attention. She spoke to another employee and came back to tell me that it's posted on the front of the menu (which it is) and that they can't change it on my bill. I really dislike inconsistencies. My friends enjoyed the sauerkraut balls and fried mushroom bites. My one friend used to get the blueberry pancake but quality has gone downhill and they no longer make them with fresh plump blueberries.

Service was friendly and professional, and in one of our two meals here, they were gracious as we bumped into people we knew and ended up combining tables. The food was good; highly recommend the Blackened Walleye, which (with its succotash) was delicious and quite filling. The stuffed gnocchi might have been a little over the top (gnocchi not good enough on their own? gotta stuff 'em?) but it was also yummy. Of particular note: the restaurant both has a good selection of gluten-free dishes and is sensitive about gluten/cross-contamination concerns. That was important to one in our party, and they handled it well.

Not the best first impression. And since you have to go around the back of the building to exit --that part of the parking lot is even worse. I did hesitate , but I said what the heck, how bad can it be? I wasn't really greeted at the front just said how many --seated at a table for two. This place is very very tiny in comparison to the two that were in Cleveland with only one still in business. very few people here at high noon. Two tables with 1 and 5 at them . I haven't been to Luna's and maybe 15 years. air-conditioning isn't working. the wall vent that I can see very dirty. It's not decorated attractively ---all the flowers in pots are plastic. I see that there is maybe a second room off to the left, but I can't really tell. no idea why they need a second room it's after high noon and there's still nobody here. the booth upholstery needs repair and the chairs are in serious need of paint. Not much effort being put in to making this place something to look at --you know aesthetically pleasing ---I remember why I stopped going to Luna's in Cleveland. Server came over and asked me if I saw the specials and I said yeah. I would like a Diet Coke no ice and I picked the stuffed pepper special. she came back and said it's stuffed cabbage and I said no --so she wrote stuffed pepper w/mashed potatoes which I replaced with a baked potato so I could take it home and a bowl of wedding soup. The table of five seated before me just getting their food so we'll see how long the special which should already be 'ready' takes to get from the kitchen 20 feet away. So it took 20 minutes to get my plate of food. I cut into the biggest pepper I've ever seen in half to reveal about 95% rice and hardly any ground meat and there's a pile of army green broccoli that's way overcooked and most of the pieces look like they put them on the grill to heat them up. the baked potato was huge and cooked decently but potato flavor is lacking. See pictures attached. The one is when I first cut the pepper in half and the other one is what I left!!!!!! I'm getting ready to leave and am told I get a dessert of Jell-O or rice pudding; chose the latter. The soup and the rice pudding were the highlights of this meal. Server wanted to know if I wanted to pack up the rest to take home since there was so much on my plate. I only really ate the green pepper, all else was flavorless, and for all of this --the cost was $17. I tipped her well and still gave them two stars. Try it and see what YOU THINK.
