I waited about 5 minutes in line 6 people long and decided on what to order from their dozens upon dozens of yummy looking options while waiting. I was a bit put off from the politically charged things inside but minded my own business and ordered a lemon white chocolate cookie ($0.75) to eat now and one of their famous Polish pastries, a "Snoogle", to take home and eat later ($4). A Snoogle is a polish puff pastry with cream cheese and a vanilla butter bean glaze that was invented and patented here! They also sell lots and lots of packzi's during Fat Tuesday every year as well. Cookie was a bit dry but it was cheap and a small enough serving to not feel sinful. The snoogle was definitely worth making a pit stop for! It is a very unique pastry amd it is also massive - bigger than my forearm for sure. It is a very messy treat so don't eat it in your car. I loved this pastry and can see why it is so famous! If you find yourself in small town Lorain County, it's worth stopping at this bakery and trying a snoggle or something else yourself! They also sell scented candles of their baked goods and fresh bread loaves as well.

You can fill up bags to enjoy your favorites at home. During our visit, I ordered a bagel and their star tots. The bagels were great quality, toasted to order with any toppings. They have options for breakfast sandwiches as well. I also had a cold brew. The staff was small, but surprisingly efficient even with the amount of customers coming and going. We sat for about 30mins and enjoyed our drinks, cooled off, used the restroom and did some people watching. Place was very steady. People talking out and staying in. This seems pretty popular. Note that they don't have the hard scoop ice cream and the there are only three soft serve flavors with options to mix them. They were tasty and the portions were good too! With the nature of the local weather and environment, there were a lot of little flies and spiders around, but mainly around the shack itself and the surrounding fence, so they shouldn't interfere with you while eating.
