Greg's Coaster Collection: Ride #8 - Gemini Category: Wooden…read moreCoaster / Racing Coaster | Rating: 5/5 | Best For: Friends, Families & Competitive Coaster Fans | Wait Time: (moderate wait, but worth it) If you're a Cedar Point fan who loves coasters and hanging with friends and family, Gemini is an absolute must-ride. It's one of the park's most beloved attractions and a true fan favorite. Nothing beats the thrill of racing head-to-head against your friends on the dual red and blue tracks -- and the signature "Can I get a high five?" moment as you zip side-by-side is pure adrenaline and fun. Gemini's classic wooden coaster feel packs a punch with its speed and smoothness, proving that old-school designs still hold their own in a park filled with giants. This coaster has been a park staple forever, and honestly, I hope they never get rid of it. Ride Stats: 3,264 feet of track (each side) * 60 mph top speed * 70-foot drop * 2 minutes ride time Best Seat: Back seats for extra airtime and speed Pro Tip: Ride during parades or midday for shorter lines. Photo-Worthy? Yes, especially during the head-to-head races. Personal Note: Gemini is the perfect mix of nostalgia, competition, and fun. Nothing beats the rush of racing friends and trying to snag that high five mid-ride!

Love this ride. But...it has not been working. It has broken down all summer. My child has been…read morehere three times and it has never worked. She has stood in line for hours over the course of three trips. I stood in line the other day. It not only broke, people got stuck at the top and had to walk down. I left the line! I was not chancing it. I was on a field trip and had a bus to take home. I also wanted to walk around more. We love this ride, it needs repair. It has been too long since I was able to make it on the actual ride and not waste time in line.

We were looking…read morefor good cocktails and a good, hearty dinner - that is exactly what we found here at The Boardwalk! We all ordered cocktails that came with quick service and were delicious! My friend tried the Crab Cake Sandwich and loved every bit of it. I ordered the Simple Cheeseburger, and although it was a typical cheeseburger (with added bacon), it was cooked perfectly and was as juicy as a cheeseburger could get! The fries on the side were great too. We left there being very happy with our choice. This is a great spot on the Boardwalk if you ever visit Put-in-Bay!!!

We visited this place on a Saturday for lunch. There was golf cart parking out front and it was…read morewithin walking distance of many other stores and bar since it's in the downtown part of the island. When we walked in we were a bit confused as there were multiple bars and food areas. The bathrooms were on the walkway leading to the restaurant. They were small and pretty filthy. One toilet one broken and filled with waste, and the other had toilet paper all over the stall. We were visiting with our dog and discovered, after walking upstairs, that dogs are not allowed on the upper deck. They are allowed on the lower and back portions of the area. We ended up at the seafood bar on the main level. Being from Maryland we're use to seafood with a lot more flavor and seasoning to it. This was very expensive for bland seafood. We also ordered a frozen lobster bisque to-go. (The plastic containers were flimsy and didn't make it back to the mainland before it cracked down the whole side.) If we go to the island again this will be a spot to skip.

This review is simply for the Inn and not Tea Room. We did not experience the tearoom, or even see…read moreit to shop for tea as we just spent the night at the Inn. We showed up after hours, and left before breakfast. The review is based off solely our overnight experience. The place is very boutique like. Small rooms maybe 4 or 5 rooms. Upon arrival we self checked in by code and received our key by the door. The pictures online are very different than what the rooms actually look like. Very tiny, very outdated, very dark. The balcony view is on the main road so it's not much of a view. The room is old fashioned but cute. It gets the job done for sleeping and getting ready. Very tiny bathroom. The 2 person tub in the room is not a bad touch however it takes forever to fill up, and drain. It is a duel tub/shower combo so you have options. A nice arsenal of shower supplies are available. The bed is extremely old. Very noisy. It is a small Queen bed with not very good pillows. We brought our own. The real big issue with the Inn is there is almost zero privacy. All the rooms are very close by, and the walls are paper thin. At numerous different times we would be able to hear other people just talking normal. Not being over the top loud, just normal conversations. The Inn also has a community room with tea, coffee, mini fridge etc however that location right In the middle, makes that even possible to hear anyone speaking in that location. I know it's early Spring but the grounds need a little TLC. Dead flowers, dead branches, a bunch of junk and misc supplies laying around. They have a walkway to walk through the "gardens" but it's not a good time to walk through right now. Very unorganized and messy. The Inn has a chance to be neat. A little upkeep, a little more space and you never know. The Host or Innkeepers are not there so they have instructions on how to reach them and how to access certain things. The check in- check out process is easy. I'm not sure if the place is worth the price $125 as the location is nearby a lot of different things but you can probably get the same experience at a normal hotel. I probably would not be interested staying again The beds hurt my back and people talking at all hours got annoying. I had to have my tv loud just to block out the chatter. I would probably give this place a 6.9 to 7 points out of 10.

For starters, if you read the founder's story on her website, its pretty long and fascinating. Arc Ancient is a holistic place that offers products, services and classes surrounding aromatherapy, spiritual healing and general wellness. I use the homemade muscle rub and a few of the roll-on pain relievers. They smell great, are organically made, and are such a wonderful alternative to days when I want to use something natural. You can understand every ingredient, and it's easy to fall in love with the products. I hear Arc Ancient also offers massage and other services, and I'm going to be looking into those. I love a company that embraces natural remedies and places value on spiritual wellness. Definitely check out this unique company if you're looking for natural pain relief or personal products that aren't loaded with chemicals, and are made locally in Cleveland.
