Theyre food is fantastic. Just basic small town restaurant food but always very tasty. Half of burgers on Wednesdays. Gyros are a family favorite and my daughter always gets the grilled chicken sandwich on croissant. The 4 stars is due to poor servers (not attentive or professional) and the restaurant seeming not as clean as it should be for a place they cook/serve food. read more

Dimitri's Corner Restaurant - Grilles chicken club on croissant with fries - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Wellington, Ohio

On our way half-way across the State of Ohio, we were seeking dinner. We were going to a football game and this was one of the few restaurants along the way. We parked around the corner on the street and upon arrival, we were told to seat ourselves. This place gives off diner vibes with friendly waitresses and older clientel. The menu offered a good variety. I requested Mountain Dew and my wife had water. I requested the cod dinner with a potato pancake. My wife requested the chicken sandwich with a side of home fries. About 10 minutes later, our food was delivered. It was hot and looked tasty. My potato pancake was delicious and I dipped it in the yummy sour cream. My cod was delicious! So were the french fries! My wife liked her chicken sandwich and gave me what she couldn't eat. She also gave me some of her hash browns. Her dinner was also very tasty. This is a solid diner and we'll stop in again if we're ever in this area. Very good food, very good service. read more

Dimitri's Corner Restaurant - "Fancy" blueberry pancakes, egg whites and sausage Patties. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Wellington, Ohio

Dimitri's is a nice local restaurant located in the heart of Wellington. I especially enjoy going there for their breakfast. I decided to try something different this time and the meat lovers skillet was delicious. It was more than enough food so I will have breakfast for the next day, as well. It was not crowded like I expected it to be on a Friday morning and I think they have the best prices. read more

Food is excellent good prices on anything there doesn't take long to get food I would recommend this if your stopping in Wellington

I was excited to try this small-town diner as I traveled through the area, especially when I saw the menu full of family favorites and comfort food. Sadly, it did not deliver to my expectations. I ordered the meatloaf and brown gravy, French fries, and applesauce. The only thing that was homemade was the meatloaf and, while it might have been good several days ago, it was dry and burnt around the edges from being re-heated. The corn and green beans were out of a can, as was the applesauce. It was a disappointing experience. read more

Dimitri's Corner Restaurant - Meatloaf and brown gravy, French fries, and a corn and green bean medley. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Wellington, Ohio

Wife has been bugging me to come here finally we stop and wish we hadn't. Her Alfredo was like a soup and she didn't eat it at all. My corn and potatoes were brought out cold with my liver I ordered. Place looks clean and plenty of tables to choose from as it was seat yourself because of lack of help and mostly lack of management. When asked to talk to a manager there was no manager on shift. Unreal no manager here to make sure food quality or sevice quality but that was the only saving grace of this visit was Brook our server she did a great job with the lack of support from management. Don't think we will be back anytime soon though! Get off your ass management and run your restraunt before you do t have a restaurant to run due to lack of good food!! read more

Great food, great value, great service. We were traveling for the 2024 total eclipse and staying a Finley State Park, and drove by this lovely historic town. Great find! read more

I'm going to give this place 5 stars for 5 reasons. 1) Let's start with our server Carly, she made the experience fun by joking around with the table. Even when she had to tell us something we ordered was unavailable she did it with class and professionalism. 2) Our appetizer platter was delicious and plenty for five adults. 3) The cheeseburger soup looked strange but tasted great! 4) All five of us enjoyed our meals. Gyro, pancakes, fisherman's platter, patty melt and Philly cheesesteak. 5) Finally and most importantly is this place is still incredibly affordable. Great experience all around, we will be back!! read more

Food is HORRBLE!!!!!! Sure feel sorry for the folks that don't have to many options in this area to eat... Soups were days old for sure! Two soups to pick from, BOTH were totally inedible!!! Soups are at cashier pay counter. Young gal checks out folks, takes their money, then ladel'd soup, NEVER washing her hands!!!!!!!!! EEK!!! Home fries totally over cooked, eggs looked awful & were disgusting... SAD! Croissant had a VERY odd plastic smell & tasted odd & was stale... NONE of our food was fresh... Soups were most likely days old... GROSS!!! Would NEVER recommend this place... AWFUL...! read more

We went to Dimitris on New Year's Day at 7:50 p.m. to get a quick bite to eat. The open sign was on, but as soon as we walked in the door, we were addressed by a staff member and told the kitchen was closed. Before we got back to the car, that same staff person turned off the open sign. I do not know what planet they are from, but in the service industry you do not shut down prior to advertised closing hours. This means that they are obligated to serve you up until the official closing hours. Google said they were open til 8:00 p.m. on New Year's Day and their sign indicated that as well plus there were people still dining inside. And yet we were turned away. That is just bad business. read more

Disgusting, undercooked, soggy, extremely bland horrible horrible food!!! They really need to hire a new chef whom can actually cook great quality food that's not meant for Nursing Home Residents!!! Fast, cheap, good tasting food! They're super quick, have a wide variety. Can't complain :)

The food is decent most of the time. The food isn't fresh. The meat on the Reuben is fatty and tough. Ordered mushrooms and half of them were burnt and the other half were still frozen. We asked how they prepared the cabbage and noodle special and the waitress said "oh, that was made a feed days ago, that's why it's a special." The breakfast is about the only thing I will order now. read more

The most flavorless and greasy oily food I have ever eaten. The servers were very nice but the food is beyond awful the place needs remodel and updated. This was my 3rd time here in several years and I had hoped things would taste better but they don't. I will not be back again read more

I understand that all businesses are cutting costs & raising prices to just come out even & I understand that many people frequent some businesses for sentimental reasons. But for the life of me I can't figure out why people eat the food here. It's gone from OK to Absolute Garbage. 4 days ago I ordered a chicken gyro. I've had them here before & they were ok. This time I paid WAAAAAY too much in takeout prices for: A dried, toasted pita with a teaspoon of sauce, rotted lettuce, breaded chicken nuggets & a lot of chopped white onion. I picked through & ate some of it & about a half hour later I was in the bathroom, where I spent the rest of my day. I can't believe this place is still in business without lawsuits. read more

This place is down home and I love it. If you want breakfast for dinner I suggest stopping in. They have wonderful cakes on display and the staff is super nice. I ordered 2 fishermen platters and it was grossly disgusting! The fish were the frozen fish that they sell in the box at the market looked and tasted like it, it was soggy bread batter which means it wasn't even cooked thoroughly, The shrimp were frozen grocery store bought shrimp the baked potato was under cooked I wish I would have known before I got home with our meals Never Again...!!! read more

The country burger was good but every thing else was trash and I didn't like the workers

This used to be the best in Wellington, but it has declined steadily since getting a new cook. The worst part is that the radio is so loud you can hardly hear yourself think. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who wishes to have a nice conversation with other people. The food has steadily declined. For example, when the owner is away, the cook decreases the size of the chicken breast. Also it is dry and flavorless. The food is mediocre at best. The restaurant is extremely uncomfortable; they can't seem to get their air conditioner fixed. read more

The food itself is good and not expensive. I've been there before multiple times and didn't have issues. The service this time was terrible. We got there when they weren't busy and our food still took about an hour. We had ordered French fries because we got a potato product with our meals, and was told okay. When our meals came out, neither of us had fries and when we asked we were told that they were out of fries. So we asked if we could get a different potato because, again, it came with our meal. So we got a different potato and upon paying, realized we were each charged for a side of potatoes. They also forgot to get my roll that came with my meal until asked. And there were several tables that sat without drinks for 15+ minutes. Worst service I've had in a resturant maybe ever read more

Dimitri's has become a family favorite over the years. When we first moved to the area eleven years ago, it had a dirtier vibe to it. However, since then they have cleaned it up, and gone all out. It's now a clean, bright, and colorful atmosphere when you step in the door. The staff is always friendly, the food tasty, and the coffee hot! In the end, I can do nothing but leave a five star review, for a business that's giving it their all. read more

Second time here this week. Staff very friendly and accommodating both times. Dimitri's special breakfast is plenty of food for under $4! Special orders, no problem. Only here for breakfast/brunch but they did everything right. Construction on Main Street messing up traffic flow but plenty of street parking available. read more

Dimitris is an awesome alternative to having to cook at home when you're just not feeling it. Food is good and they have great prices, never more than a 15 minute wait on take out orders!
